We called and the very friendly guy inspected our home within a week. He was very knowledgeable about these things. He said to call him with any questions. Then we scheduled them to do the work. They came the next week. They were very thorough. Spent a lot of time taking care of the job. They cleaned up after themselves very well. I didn't have to leave my house. I didn't have to bag up any food or anything and they didn't break anything.(like roof tiles). The two people were very friendly as well. I'm writing this review about my whole experience with Pacific Coast Termite. In March of 2022 I noticed some rot in the floors in my living room. I pulled a board up and saw the dreaded home killer, termites. I needed to get rid of the wood munchers so I called Pacific Coast Termite and scheduled an appointment with an inspector. The inspector arrived and didn't seem pushy about selling services, but he did identify drywood termites and subterranean termites. I agreed to treat both. The day of service arrives and the crew shows up. Things went well, but the service felt mid-grade. By the end of the appointment I had identified two major issues. First, the crew leader was unable to drill through the interior floor. She explained that her drill must not be powerful enough to make it through the interior foundation or that it was broken. The issue was later identified to be that she tried drilling through an 18 inch foundation footer. Second, they left some holes in the concrete unpatched. The crew leader explained that the crew would follow up and finish the job. They never did. After a few weeks I'd forgotten about the promise to follow up and I didn't see any additional termite activity. That is, until the heavy rains (March 2023) this year. I noticed a wet pile of dirt where an old termite tube lived in the garage. I kicked that pile over and termites poured out of it. This is where my general attitude towards Pacific Coast Termite shifts from mediocre to awesome. I called a second time. The receptionist immediately said my name and address and followed it up by asking if I'd seen termite activity. I said yes and she scheduled a follow up for only a couple days later. The new crew arrived (Travis, Manny, and Andrik) and really crushed it. They listened to my complaint about the first crew and then got to work. The new crew leader was able to identify the foundation footer as being in the way and drilled around it. It took them about three hours, but they finished what the first crew had started and did a great job (making sure to also finish patching the unpatched holes). They even answered some of my questions about termite activity and seemed to be highly knowledgeable and very skilled at their job. I'd rate my first interactions with PCT at 6/10, but my second interaction is 10/10. I'm blown away at how quickly and easily they honored their warranty. I'm also very impressed with the second crew who absolutely crushed it. The first crew wasn't horrible, but they also weren't very thorough. Overall, I would definitely recommend Pacific Coast Termite. I should have been more proactive about the follow up, but PCT responded with honesty and integrity when I did. read more

Warranty service from Pacific Coast Termite wood repair division. Previous balcony repairs for termites and dry rot had lifted, twisted and warped over summer. Jesse, Luis and Carlos prepped, replaced, puttied and sanded. All the raw wood was primed, leveled, filled and sanded, and primed again because we had no paint. ( I was shocked that they even offered). They also cleaned up, and even used a magnetic pickup for stray nails left by the original crew ony aluminum patio cover. Fantastic service crew. If I could give more stars I would. From the moment we met our Technician until work was completed the work was stellar. Steve came out and to my relief did not suggest to tent the house but use Borax instead. I had surgery in September and am still recovering, tenting the house would have meant packing up EVERYTHING! We never had to leave the house during the treatment. A few weeks later Miguel and his team came out and removed all the termite damage, dry rot and crumpled wood from our back of the house. They worked for 2 days and it looks amazing. Miguel has an eye for detail as he spotted a few boards not in his work area that were bad and he replaced them. Very pleasant men working and they are very meticulous in clean up. Would recommend and work with for sure. read more

An excellent job. Very reasonable prices but more importantly, a high level of expertise. Alex the inspector and manager did a great job diagnosing the level of infestation. The initial treatment was done professionally and unobtrusively. Thereafter came the wood repair. Jesse and Rosendo were incredible craftsman. I was amazed how they were able to duplicate complex pieces of wood to replace those that were eaten by termites. They went the extra mile at every step, giving the customer the most for his money. I recommend that the night before an inspection or wood repair that you move your cars from the driveway into the street. It will give the service truck somewhere to park and make it easier for the team to manipulate long poles and ladders. Pacific Coast Termite came in 2/2020 to perform a termite treatment for our house. I called a couple of weeks ago and scheduled a follow up visit for 1/28/2022. Matt and Diego showed up right on time at 8 am sharp. I was very impressed with both of them because they were very courteous, customer-service oriented, polite and conducted a very thorough inspection. Their inspection included going up into the attic and crawling under the house. During the process they re-sprayed a number of areas that had been treated in 2020. Afterwards, they made sure to clean up the immediate surrounding area. I told them before they left I was going to write a positive review for them because about 3-4 months ago, I had another rep from Pacific Coast Termite come to perform the same service and the experience was opposite from today. He was here ~15 minutes and wasn't nearly as thorough compared to Matt and Diego. read more

Best summary would be incompetent idiots. I have termite pellets/dropping in a couple of places and I've seen (with pictures) several winged termites in the house. Takes 3 weeks to get an appointment for an inspection, the guy shows up, looks at the photos and the piles of droppings, and after 5 minutes declares, "Those are just ants". Doesn't look in the crawl space under the house or in the attic. Or any where else in or around my home. Doubting their credibility called two other inspectors and both of the confirmed that is was obviously termites I'm not going to argue with the Pacific Coast Termite guy, because if they cannot handle an inspection, I definitely don't want them handling insecticide and doing an extermination in my home. read more

We had a great experience from start to finish with Pacific Coast Termite. It was easy to set up an inspection over the phone, and they called to verify the day before. Our inspector, Blake, did a great job explaining to us where the damage was, and what would be needed to fix it. The cost was a bit higher than for a traditional fumigation solution, but we would happily pay that every time to avoid the complications of fumigation. After Blake applied the discount you get for quoting their radio ad (before we even mentioned it), it was an even smaller difference. Jose and Carlos, the technicians who did the work, were just as great. They showed up on time, were competent and professional, and very respectful to our property. They clearly took pride in their work and the company (employee satisfaction/pride is a foolproof way to judge a company). Called pacific coast termite after hearing their ad on the radio. Setting up an appointment was easy enough and I was told 8am. A few days go by and I get an appointment reminder for between 8am & 10am. That's fine but after that time has passed and my time was wasted waiting for my technician I contacted them and they said my tech could arrive anytime between 8am and 10am. I told them it was past 10am already and they had no reply. That's not how service is done. read more

Great experience from start to finish. Our interaction with PCT began when Blake came out to do a home inspection. Blake walked through our home, confirmed we had subterranean termites, and explained to us what some possible options were to address the termites given the construction constraints of our home. Blake was extremely friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable! He reassured us that the chemicals they planned to use had a very high efficacy rate of killing off the colony, and were pet friendly. No tenting! No application of high heat! No worrying about a hotel that could accommodate a dog and a cat! Instantly, the edge was taken off. Not too long after Blake's walkthrough, Samuel and Anthony came out to perform the work. The guys were extremely respectful of our stuff as they drilled around the perimeter of our house, and like Blake, very friendly and professional. The guys got done earlier than I expected, too! While we didn't have to foot the bill as renters, I did sign the invoice to indicate the work was completed. The final cost was VERY reasonable and I'll recommend them to every one I know who's in need of some eradication. Their area of coverage is most of the greater LA area, so they made it from Orange up to North Pasadena. I have heard all the radio advertisement over the years and thought I would use them. The experience was poor. I heard a lot of banging on the house and I went out and saw he had damaged the fascia board in several places. The tech had no customer service skills and would not explain to me what he was doing. I said I guess I don't understand what's going on. He said you don't and packed up his things and left. I asked for his card and he said he did not have one I called and spoke with a representative and aske to have a manager call and come out. She said he would call by 9:30. No call back. I used Pacific Coast Termite for a spray-in attic insulation. The workers were great, my problem began after they had left. My wife noticed that the forced air heating wasn't coming on nor was the a/c unit. I called the office and since it was a Saturday the office was closed. I had left a message figuring I would hear from them on Monday, 4/03/2023. No return call by Tuesday morning, I talked with Crystal and sher said she would relay my problem to a supervisor. As of today, 4/07/2023 I have never received a call back. Now I have used them for a few years for my termite protection and have always had calls no problem. I guess it's when you purchase one of their other products it's buyer beware. I iwill still use them for termite protection but I wouldn't recommend using them for their other products. In fact I may star shopping another termite company at this point. I did hire someone to come out and find a disconnected wire to the unit and had it repaired in no time. read more

The repair was done beautifully and I am happy they cared enough to contact me and make that right. They did not ask me to revisit my review, I decided to do that based on their response to my original review. They don't get the 5th star due to the fact that everything I said in my first review - the delays and lack of communication- did happen. However, I think they may be more aware of ongoing customer feedback in the future with new customers. Hope you can profit from my experience. The company uses natural orange ingredients to repel and kill termites. Safe for our kids and our dogs which is why we use them. 6+ years and going and termites have definitely been minimized or eliminated over the years. If you are selling your house, there is no free inspection - they charge $350 to inspect. Then their treatments start at $2,500!!! Rip off. I cannot say enough good things about the service from Pacific Coast Termite. We had 5 different companies come to our house to provide recommendations and quotes. 2 of those companies did not inspect anything but simply provided quotes to tent our house. The other 2 performed inspections but were priced very high. Kevin from Pacific Coast Termite spent 2 hours in our attic and under our house. Afterwards, he admitted that tenting (a service that they do not provide) was absolutely necessary because our house had infested areas that he could not access. He even offered a suggestion of which company to use to tent. No other company was as honest and I really wanted to use them as a result. The rep suggested that they could perform a post-tenting preventative treatment that would help slow the return of any termites over time. Since we plan to live in our house for a long time, we decided to use PCT to perform the preventative treatment. I also found that PCT was quite helpful with questions we had in preparation for the tenting of our house. Even though they did not perform that service, we trusted their judgment and called with several questions for help regarding information the tenting company was giving us. For instance, the tenting company wanted to drills holes every 12" around our house to inject poison. PCT indicated that it was unnecessary since their foam would soak through the wood and treat the other side of the wood that the tenting company could not reach with their poison. PCT really saved us from having ugly visible holes filled with something that would not match our concrete all around our house. Thank you PCT... I hope to never have to use you again, but if the termites return, you'll be my first call! read more

I've reached out to Pacific Coast Termite three times to schedule an estimate. Each time, the representative told me that somebody from the company would call me back to schedule an estimate. When I asked to representative why he could not schedule it for me, he responded very rudely. Today I have not received a call back. The little boys and little girls that are serving as the customer service Representatives definitely do not represent a reliable business. I'm not exactly sure where all of the high reviews have come from for this company, but based on my experience, I would not trust this company with anything regarding termites. read more
