I had my home fumigated recently and I was pleased with the price and results. They explained to me all the plants that needed to be cut back and what would die if I left it as is. It is alot of pre-work before fumigation but it is also worth it to preserve a valuable asset. My entire home and garage were covered and gassed. Yes, a few plants died temporarily after a few days, but I know from experience that they will be back to normal by next year. The process was straightforward. I'm actually surprised that most people don't do this more often. I've done whole house fumigation at least 4 times since I have owned this property because yes, termites are working slowly to eat wood homes in California but most people only address the ones they see and miss the ones they can't see. I've made this mistake myself. I had them come out and spray for termites to then realizing I still had some I didn't previously see. If I had to do the process again, I would call them and ask them to evaluate my house instead of me directing them as to what service I wanted. They are the experts. Interestingly, at the time of fumigation, they put razor wire which I think is to prevent anyone from accessing the back of the property quickly. This had not been mentioned to me but I was very pleased when I drove by to check on my home. This is a family business that has been doing this for many years. They are not a fly by night business and I'm very glad that they continue to be in business. I try to only hire excellent companies and this one for sure is excellent. read more

We hired Go Direct to fumigate our place. Their prices are reasonable for the quality of work done and they're very responsive when I called for a lot of questions. They take care the house while putting up the tent and wore shoe covers when they went inside. I also loved the fact that an alarm system was included during fumigation so I felt safer during the process. We have roof tiles so some damage was to be expected. If you have extra tiles, they would replace them for you free of charge. Bottom line is that they're the very few places licensed to directly do the fumigation not through an extermination company and are extremely responsible with their work and with your home. read more

After some pretty ridiculous quotes from the big box names including the people who do our quarterly bug maintenance, a little research from yelp led me to GDF. they came out inspected, advised at no charge. the quote was approx 1 third of what I had been quoted. Reverse sticker shock. Very informative regarding termite, life cycle and guarantee. I was provided 10 packing bags with the price for food included. The contract was clear and concise with instructions, dates and expectations. Yessy from the office kept me in the loop with phone calls and backed up with text messages regarding gas shut off and turn on ,all coordinated by her. Leo inspected my home, educated me on termite home inspections practices, was extremely knowledgeable, personable, and took the time to help educate me on what to look for related to infestations. Beware! This company has no accountability, poor customer service and employees who are ignorant and don't care about their job. I worked my ass off to get 20 years accumulation of potted plants moved and trees trimmed away from the house, scheduled the fumigation, scheduled the kennel for the dogs, scheduled a place to stay for two nights, scheduled 48 hours of personal security to guard the house, had the gas turned off and all my valuables removed from the house; in short, a huge job to get ready for this and the crew showed up, with no supervisor, started to set up for the fumigation and then left without saying a word because I told them I needed a little more time to get ready as I was still trying to load everything in the car. They left me hanging, didn't even knock on the door to say they were going to go if I didn't hurry or call to say they needed to go or that they had left or why they left of if they were coming back. They were just gone. When I called the office to ask where they were, the office didn't know that they had left. The office called the crew and then said they weren't coming back. Then all the lies started as the crew tried to cover their ass. They said I had to take a shower when what I had said was I had just taken a shower and had hot water and was that normal to have hot water even though the gas was off. Nobody on the crew could answer any questions I had about the fumigation or the hot water or the hot water heater. I was wondering if I should call the gas company to check to see if that was normal. They said I locked the gate and wouldn't let them in. Another lie since I let them in as soon as I saw them at the gate. I told them I needed a little more time and they said they would get started outside. They posted signs on my door and were on the roof preparing to put on the tent. They also saw me through the window when I sat down for a minute to turn off my computer and told the office I was working on the computer. Lies, lies, lies to cover their ass. If they had a policy that they would leave if I wasn't ready, they should have clearly stated that policy in the conversations we had prior to the fumigation. I was given a window of time, not an exact time, and if their policy was to leave if they couldn't put the tent on the minute they arrived, then that policy should have been made clear from the beginning. I felt completely discriminated against and I would never use this company or let any of their crew step foot in my house. There is no accountability for their actions which is a clear signal that if there is damage or theft, they will lie to get out of that too and not be held accountable. read more

I had a terrible experience with Go-direct Fumigation" company. Based on the good impression that I receive from a worker who came for an estimate of the work, hired the company for the fumigation work. Things went awry after that. The scheduled tent installation was cancelled because of a false reason of "too much wind". Since I was at home (without knowledge of the workers), I was able to contest the "windy conditions" and the work continued as scheduled. Things got even worse when my house WAS BURGLARIZED the second night of the fumigation service. After being warned by the alarm company by the middle of the night, I found the front door of the house open when I came to inspect the house on Friday February 11. Everything seems to indicate that thieves had used the front door to get access to the house. The police investigation report established that none of the windows nor front door had been forced. It seems obvious that some of the fumigation workers did not close or locked the door. The Go-direct fumigation worker requested the house keys to start the work on Wednesday with the promise that all doors would be locked before the inspection. Mr. Rudy Arzate denied any responsibility. read more

After receiving several estimates from different companies in the Torrance area, we decided to use Go-Direct Fumigations because of their inspector Leo Gomez. He was honest and gave us all the information we needed and what to look forward to and how to compare between companies, in which no one else did for me. Leo also even told me to prepare extra new roof tiles for replacement in case of broken roof tiles; this is expected when the crew has to get on top of the roof to remove the fumigation tent especially when you have clay roof tiles. Happy with the service. Leo came around to quote over a year ago. Finally decided to have the fumigation done and Leo still had the old quote and gave me the same price. The crew showed up on time, in fact an hour early. The tent came off on time. I found no roof damage. I have a composition shingle roof. All the rain gutters are fine. Only the crew chief is allowed inside the house so there is no question of security. They also set up a SimpliSafe alarm system for security. Bugs are dead. I recommend their service. As another reviewer mentioned, he was the only member of the team to enter the house while the rest of the crew set up the tent. I received a call later that day from the office informing me when the crew was scheduled to remove the tent, and I received another call from the office confirming that the tent was removed on schedule and that it was safe to re-enter my property. This was my first experience with termite fumigation and I am really happy that I hired Go-Direct Fumigation. Although it's too early to evaluate whether the fumigation was sufficiently thorough for me to be termite-free for the next 7-10 years, their service includes a 2 year warranty that I hopefully won't need to use. Good company. Excellent communication from the office staff. Did a great job with fumigation. Price is reasonable. If you have tiles roof, they will replace the tiles they break for free. This will save you a few hundreds dollars over other companies. My immovable plant die, so I know they use at least the right amount of poison, if not more than what was needed. The tarp they used was also in good shape. I've seen company that uses bad condition tarp, or not enough poison so I paid very close attention to this detail. If you have termites, don't waste money on local treatment and just bite the bullet and tent. I have recommend this company to at least 3 friends who asked. The sales reps told us that if we let them treat the termite, they will do the ant treatment for free. After the ant treatment, we still find ants crawling all over the house, especially the kitchen area. They said it's complimentary so there is no guarantee that it works. Needed to tent and fumigate my father's house due to termites and received several estimates from companies using Yelp. After comparing all the estimates, we decided to use Go-Direct Fumigations because of their inspector Leo Gomez. He was honest and gave us all the information on what to look for and how to compare between companies which no one else did. Leo told me the most important part of fumigation is not the final price but the total cubic feet. The total cubic feet determines how much gas is used, so the larger the cubic feet the more effective the fumigation. I received lower estimates from other companies but their cubic feet count was lower by an average of 2,000 feet. For the price difference we felt more confident with Leo's estimate. He also included at no charge, ant and pest treatment surrounding our property. Fumigation went as planned and was finished in 3 days as promised. The ladies at the office notified me a day in advance with times when any Go-Direct employees would be arriving. Service was fantastic and couldn't have been any easier. Not having gone through fumigation service before, I thought the whole process was going to be a pain but thanks to Leo and the rest of the crew at Go-Direct it was quick and easy.
