I had been going to Pacific Dental with my family for years and we had been under the care of Dentist Kyle but I came to find out that there is a new Dentist in the office and I am completely unhappy about it. It's completely understandable as to why he chose to stop working on my 5 year old son since he was not being cooperative but the way he reacted was rude and responded with "I can't do it I can't work on him I'm sorry he's going to have to see a children's specialist" and stood up and left. The dental assistant put on a temporary filling and explained that if it fell off I can go back so they can replace it. Unfortunately, that only lasted him a day and when I called back they said "they didn't know if they could do it". I'm never going back there, it truly is such a shame. read more

Feels like a business trying to scam me more than a dentists office trying to help me. I need a lot of work done and the staff mocked me for it too. Terrible place to receive "care". I got referred to the Palmdale specialist just for them to tell me the exact same thing I was told in Lancaster. So that was a wasted couple of weeks of not receiving care, getting the run around, and getting charged a $75 consultation fee for a 5 min visit just to hear what I already knew. I came to Pacific Dental looking for a new Dentistry to call home and I was not disappointed! Very calm vibe when you walk in with friendly front desk staff. They were very helpful and fast scheduling my appointment. The dentist himself is awesome. Dr. Park is very knowledgable with gentle hands. He performed my fillings and I didnt feel a thing! The office/treatment coordinator Karin was very nice and also knowledgable about my options and was not pushy. So like any other person, the dentist terrifies me! Always have since I was little girl, but pacific dental care helped to ease a lot of my nerves and anxiety. This is the only dentist who really tried to understand and remedy my fears instead of telling me to get over it. They gave me a full rundown of my entire procedure and kept me informed throughout. This place is terrible. Stay away!!!! They bilked my insurance for a few simple procedures. My wife and I went in for cleanings which they said were covered by my dental ins. When got there it was a $54 copay. I paid it without complaining because we were new and I'm sure that It was an honest error. Afterwards I had to have them look at a bad tooth..ouch. The dentist (who smelled like garlic and spoke very poor English) tried to send me to a specialist after I requested for him to just take it out because it had broken and was a back molar. Oh.. and we were charged for my ex-rays again...these guys are ex-ray happy. They took my ex rays less than a month earlier. After two months of pain in that tooth I went back and asked again to have him take the back molar out. He spent around 20 minutes trying to talk me out of it again and I also forgot to mention that they again said I was covered and no out of pocket was needed but the co-pay was this time $78.00. And tooth extraction is still painful after 7 months. 3 fillings and a cleaning and having a tooth pulled. $1411.00 I told them they seem to be very high so they just started calling my wife at her job everyday. Our charges were never what they quoted (never in our favor). zero stars... minus 10 stars... If i knew then, i would have went somewhere else. Anywhere. I actually had a lot of fun coming to this place. The people there are really kind. The Dr and his assistant made a lot of jokes lol which helped my nerves. I've never had any major dental work till recently. Never had I gotten a shot for dental work. And I'll admit I was being chicken about it. Lol. Not as bad as I thought it would be. I think Dr. Kim is one of the best dentists I have ever been to and I have been to a lot of different ones in different states because my husband is in the military. I feel very cared for by him and his staff. They are all very nice and respectful and I as much as I have to go back for different dental issues, I just don't mind going. If you have any doubt about this place, don't. They are clean, they do great work and work with you and your insurance to find the best solution to pay for things that can be costly but so important for your over all well being. I smile more now that my front teeth are fixed and they look natural and beautiful. All due to Dr. Kim making sure they look as best as they can and doesn't settle for things that are just ok. He truly cares about his work and his patients and you can't ask for a better dentist. read more

I've had my fair share of dentists, even at this location my dentist has changed. Dr. Jonah Park has really impressed me with his understanding and explanations. He doesn't talk down to you just explains and knows what he's talking about. He doesn't try and push extra stuff on you. He seems to give his honest opinion on what's necessary at the moment. I really enjoy the staff at Pacific Dental! The reception ladies are sweet and very helpful. I was always taken right back at my appt. time. Dr. Song Kim is an easy-going laid back dentist who tells you what you need and delivers excellent results. I switched dentists from All Family Dental Care in Lancaster to Pacific Dental, and I have ABSOLUTELY no desire to go back to All Family Dental Care after finding Pacific Dental Care. This place lies lies lies, towards the end of last year I came here and got a x Ray done they told me I had 3 cavities and that I needed to get my wisdom tooth removed before they could start any work. So I decided to go somewhere else because that's ridiculous my wisdom tooth isn't bothering me so I rather leave it alone. So I went to another dentist place got my x rays there && they diagnosed me with the same cavities as this place including a additional one and told me that if my wisdom tooth is not bothering me then there's nothing to worry about so I get all of my cavities filled but decided to come back here for my cleaning since I have dental insurance && I would get a free one I called them and scheduled a appointment they said yeah ok your all cleared for the cleaning you have insurance. then when I came for the cleaning they told me I no longer have insurance and that it'll be 50 dollars for the cleaning. Whatever I'll pay it no problem. When I went in to see the doctor he "examined" my teeth && said that I still have the same cavities from when I came in previously with them last year. Which is a lie BECUASE I already got them filled about two months ago somewhere else. Of course they didn't know that & they assumed that i didn't get any work done since my x Rays with them. They're just con artists & luckily I still have my paper from the other dentist with the same cavities that this place said I have or I would of believed them. I told everyone about this place they're nothing but scam artists don't go here or Atleast get a second opinion. read more
