I went to Pacific Dental with 2 weeks left on my insurance and a whole lot of work needing to be done. After my initial exam, Marina (who was awesome), came in and walked me through my treatment options, thoroughly explaining the financial aspect of my care. I opted to have two crowns done on my molars. Dr. Harprabh Singh came in to explain what we were going to do and I told him I was very nervous about the pain associated with the treatment. I asked, if I felt I needed it would he prescribe me pain killers? He said yes he would. So we went ahead. After they administered the novocain, which was way more painful than any of my previous dental experiences, I got shaky and my heart started beating rapidly. Dr. Singh suggested I eat a granola bar to ease this and I tried. But why on earth would a dentist suggest you eat a granola bar with your mouth completely numb?! It was terrible! I bit myself, gagged, and couldn't swallow. Shouldn't he have anticipated that eating would be difficult for me? So we forge ahead and as I am leaving the office, with my temp crowns, I ask the man at the front desk for the pain killer prescription. He says, "for a crown prep, no we don't do that". I tell him Dr. Singh told me he would. He looks at me doubtfully, but goes back to find Dr. Singh and returns and tells me "Dr. Singh says to take some motrin". What?! I was FLAT OUT LIED TO. Dr. Singh deliberately mislead me so I would get the work done in his office. So I return a week later for my permanent crowns and as they are removing the temps I get this EXCRUCIATING PAIN from the exposed tooth. It actually brings tears to my eyes. I tell Dr. Singh I'm scared because I don't think I can handle it if they touch that tooth again. He says they can numb me up if I want, but if I just do it without the novocain "it'll take a few seconds and be over soon". I recall the pain of last week's shot and I tell him very openly "I don't know what to do. I'm afraid of that level of pain." Instead of providing guidance as a good health-care provider should he says nothing and LOOKS AT ME AS IF I AM WASTING HIS TIME. I decide to go ahead without the novocain and it hurt so bad - I mean childbirth pales in comparison. I'm not proud to say I was practically writhing around in the chair, tears streaming down my face and Dr. Singh goes on as if nothing is amiss. He finishes up and walks out of the room, without a word, leaving me sitting in the chair crying. Wow, talk about ZERO bedside manner. read more

Services are okay, nothing like a good old family run dentist office. They are corporate owned and you definitely are paying extra money for overheads and bureaucracy. Also, the price we ended up paying for both dental work and orthodontics was much higher than initial estimated. They misquoted and misbilled the insurance. We could not dispute the charges since the quote we got was an "estimate" and there is a clause in their contract stating that patients are responsible for anything insurance doesn't cover. So basically, our ortho was supposed to be $1700 out of pocket. By the time we were done 20 mos later, we paid a total of $2600. So be real skeptical!!!! read more

This place is the most expensive dental office in the United States I'm assuming. I went in for a cleaning they charged me 1700 dollars for x-rays and cleaning! Plus I had to wait 2 hours even though I had an appointment. Very disappointed I had to spend my whole savings account on a teeth cleaning, wouldn't go back there for any serious work$$$. Wish I could leave a zero stars... Was referred to this office die to needing an extraction of an infected tooth. Saw Dr Kouros Izadi, I explained to the staff that I have terrible fear and anxiety towards dentist. I requested nitrous for my procedure. Dr. Came in put topical on area that was to be numbed started nitrous only waited maybe two minutes and grabbed my cheek and slammed the needle so hard into my mouth it literally hit bone. Nitrous had not even had time to work. Now I am crying and shaking uncontrollably, he leaves the room then comes back for remainder of injections did the same thing. I told him several times stop that I was in pain. He left room again, once he returned his assistant administered nitrous for a longer period of time, Dr tested to see if I was numb enough which I thought I was. I wasn't he yanked my tooth I felt sharp pain and now historically crying I begged to be sedated he said I was almost done, another yank and the tooth was out. This Dr has zero compassion or bedside manners. I am now sore from head to toe due to being so tense and trembling uncontrollably. Also they did not have all the work that was to be done noted in my chart I had to remind them mid procedure of everything that needed done. I wouldn't recommend this place to even my enemy.. very disgusted how they treated me. read more

staff is friendly but unprofessional! I wouldn't make an effort to write this if they did their job right the first time. obviously, we (my family) have experienced a lot of inconveniences as far as time, money and service. Today was the last straw! My son's crown came off after a couple of weeks and now they're charging us because of the "extra procedure". The problem on the tooth got worse because their receptionist forgot to note the appointment (I was at the clinic when I made the appointment). That's another reason to wait for the next o..We showed up on the day we were supposed to be seen and waited for almost an hour only to be told that we weren't scheduled on that day. I work and my son goes to school! What a waste of time! Staff is really friendly, but too friendly that they engage in personal conversations about which salon they go to to fix their hair, their nails, etc. right in front of waiting patients! I am canceling future appointments they arranged with my 4 children, including myself, to avoid further inconveniences! They are completely unethical and Cons! Dr Judith Alvarez said I needed laser cleaning, changing two old fillings and a crown over another old filling. I did not have any issues before I went into there office. My appointment was for a regular cleaning and check up. They wanted me to reschedule another time for the cleaning. They first took my X-rays followed by the dentist giving me an exam. She used the air gun to blow some air in my mouth and then told me I had some pockets in my rear gums. Then the salesperson comes in to tell me it will be $1300! To clean my teeth today!!!! I said what?? What about the new patient special. That is suppose to include the cleaning. She said that covers only one quadrant ( which is not stated anywhere) and the $1300 is for the rest of my mouth. I quickly said no thanks and walked out. I then cancelled the appointments for the rest of my family. What a scam!!!! Stay away and find a real dentist. This place should be closed down. The scary thing is that they seemed pretty busy. After neglecting my dental visits for way too long and having insecure feelings about my previous dentist, I decided to try Temecula Pacific Dental G&O. I have had 2 visits so far and both were positive experiences. Each person that attended to me was friendly and worked skillfully. Crystal and Gabriela stand out in my mind for their detailed explanations & reassurance. Dr. Delgado made me feel comfortable from the get go and showed sincere concern to save my problem tooth. He was so highly skilled and swift at shaving my tooth down to prepare for my crown. (Thankfully, I don't have to have it pulled.) Every other staff member that I met also explained fully each step I would be taking. I could tell you each person's attributes but I'd be repeating "great" many times over. Once again, I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Choi, periodontist at this office. Two days ago, I had an appointment with Dr. Choi to open the gum where an extracted molar had come out, and install the "abutment" into the implant that she installed a few months ago. Dr. Choi (with very capable help from her assistant Juan) anesthetized me, opened the gum, trimmed off some excess gum material, installed the abutment, and stitched the gum closed . . . .all without any pain whatsoever ! And you always know exactly what she is going to do and what's coming next. This doctor is wonderful ! And so is Juan. Great team. read more

I was extremely pleased with the staff at Pacific Dental Group. They all work really well with each other. The front desk was very courteous, and the technicians were very efficient and friendly. My dentist was Dr. Mai Ly. She is wonderful with patients and an extremely good dentist. In fact, she is the current employee of the month! She is very attentive and caring, and she does great work! I actually chose Pacific Dental group based on proximity to my residence, but I am very pleased with the service. The staff is all pleasant and explains everything clearly. The process of xrays, and cleanings is run pretty efficiently (code for you don't have to wait forever) and I really like my dentist. aside from the fact that the brand of purple latex gloves they use here all smell ever so faintly of human excrement, the support staff, hygienists, doctors all are sweet and personable and good at their jobs. they are SO pleasant and helpful, you almost don't even mind being fleeced by their financial person. a tad spendier than down-and-dirty dentistry in tijuana, even when they give you a good deal, but again, a good personality goes a long way. seriously! i want to hang out with most of them outside of the dentist office. take them out to lunch or to go dancing or have drinks with them. or have a few of them be godparents to my children. no one likes to go to the dentist, but if you gotta go, you could do worse than to go here. read more

I have been coming here for about a year and a half now and everytime I go in the staff (from the front office girls to the staff and doctors in the back) are all super friendly and welcoming. When I had a bad toothache they were able to get me in right away and take care of my pain. The doctor and his assistants were very professional and thorough when doing my treatment and they have this amazing technology where I was able to get my crown that same day without having to have a temporary crown for a couple weeks before receiving my permanent crown. Been coming to this office for several months and have had a lot of work done and I have to say that they are the best. From the moment you walk in you greeted with smiles. They have the best front office, back office, and doctors. Dr. A and Dr. Kim have taken my dental anxiety level to a very minimum. I have to say Dr Kim is a great doc and made sure I was comfortable during my entire procedure. The hygienist Veronica is also great and funny. I've been taking my daughter here since our dental insurance changed 4 years ago. I was a little skeptical at first because it's a chain and not the private family dentist we were used to. The office staff are very friendly as well as the dental hygienists and dentists. We never have to wait long for our appointments, are very thorough and make my daughter very comfortable to where she enjoys going every 6 months for her check ups and cleanings. Front office staff and doctors are overall very warm, welcoming but the rest of this review is a dire warning to cash paying customers, not insurance, although if you have insurance you should probably pay heed as well, because no doubt work is being done that is NOT needed! I was referred to the office and needed help for intense pain. Got booked in for the 59.00 special which included x-ray, exam, and cleaning. As soon as I got escorted to the stand up archaic x-ray room, I knew I was in trouble. Next walked to exam room which wasn't very clean (floors & equipment very duty, and very old) and the exam commenced and because of previous periodontal problems, measured "pockets" which were incredibly bad considering the previous 2 years of surgery...told I needed a 2300.00 cleaning & treatment but could buy it down to 1120.00 if I bought an "annual insurance" for 111.00. Wow! Even my periodontist doesn't charge that much! After some "scare" tactics I conceded to do the cleaning (not happy), and then booked to see the periodontist. Came home called my periodontist in another state and my dentist in another country and talked to a periodontist in a different Temecula location and each one said the same thing...I got put together. I will not be returning here as I have found an astounding periodontist elsewhere (who by the way did my pocket measurements and they weren't remotely as bad as what they told me here) and a fantastic dentist elsewhere. Too bad I can't get my 1200.00 back....that is a huge lesson learned. Moral of the story...always trust your gut and DO NOT go to a dental group (individuals are best) because they have quotas they have to fulfill and you are not treated as an individual but rather a cash machine/quota maker. read more

I was referred to this office by one of my friends who had a very good experience with this office. They were great about scheduling times that worked with my hectic schedule. Dr. Khazaian was professional, thoughtful and thorough during the entire process. She explained everything to me patiently and answered all my questions. I felt like I was getting individualized attention from her and she really cared about my dental issues. She recommended what was best for my broken tooth. Not to mention she was super kind and gentle because I'm nervous when it comes to dental procedures! Overall, I'm really happy with the services I received from this office and I'm pretty sure I found a permanent dentist for years to come! Their pricing is excellent as well (very good prices for dental work) I have gotten extensive work done here including having all 4 of wisdom teeth extracted at once. They did a very good job I had zero pain at all during the procedure, after the procedure and the next day, the healing was great as well! Overall this place is amazing! we have been coming here for several years and today was the worst experience for my daughter we ever had. James Kim does not and should not be working with children. Told my daughter if she didnt stop crying that i would have to leave the room. Lied to me about my daughter grabbing his hand or arm when he was going to numb her tooth. I didnt see it but i believe my daughter when she says she didnt. Now the work didnt get done cause he has no patience with children she was scared to death....now i have to wait 3 more weeks or so before she can get her work done because we have to wait on a referral....also he tried to convince me of the higher priced fillings than what my pocket book can afford.... I was charged a $100 dollar cancellation fee after notifying them well in advance of 24 hours. I called them back and wrote a detailed complaint letter to which I heard absolutely no reply. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
