Found this cute little mom and pop coffee shop while out for a hike. The staff was friendly and had advice on other trails to hike on. I ordered a Misty Morning which was delicious for an early morning pick me up. I don't like my coffee too sweet but this was just that happy medley of coffee and milk. Definitely would come here again after another trail. read more

Lovely little cafe in beautiful Pacifica. I tried a Mexican Mocha with soy milk and Dirty Chai Soy Latte. Both were fantastic and helped me to wake up and start my day! This is my new regular coffee spot i have been going to, they have very good prices on thier self serve coffee. It also tastes better than most places i have been to in town! The building has very nice decor that goes with it's location - the staff is also very friendly and welcoming. My only complaint is i wish they had stevia. read more

AMAZING COFFEE SHOP! Honesty, love everything about this place! I'd highly recommend getting some coffee, a bagel, or other pastries. You can walk around the block to the beach or go on a short hike for beautiful views! Can't go wrong I went to school in SF and drove here on the weekends to study. The coffee is good, there is lots of comfy seating, and tons of outlets. It became one of my homes away from home. This is a charming little coffee shop within walking distance of the black sand beach at Pacifica. It's warm and cozy inside and they have a variety of good coffees that you can enjoy in one of their ceramic mugs. They also have some games to pass the time on a foggy morning and my son had an amazing time with these. I'll have wonderful memories of that morning for a long time. read more

Tucked in a quiet and quaint part of Pacifica is Pacific Java Cafe. I think it's named appropriately since its a few meters away from the Pacific Ocean and Rockaway Beach. It's right off of Highway One and right across Sea Bowl and Gorilla's BBQ. They serve good coffee at very reasonable prices. The staff is very nice and attentive, and it definitely has a small town feel to it. I love the vibe of the place as it instantly makes you feel relaxed and comfortable for some reason. Maybe it's the Feng Shui, perhaps? They have pastries and baked goods that are great company with your coffee. Whether you're on the go or decide to sip your coffee at a leisurely pace while enjoying the place (I prefer and highly recommend the latter), this spot will definitely win your heart. Go ahead and read a book. Sit outside and let it all soak in. This is a charming little place that can relieve some stress while enjoying a good brew of Java. NOTE: Cash only. This place was great. Good iced coffee, a comfortable setting, and baby friendly, too! We came on a hot day, and enjoyed our iced coffees. I loved the fact that they used frozen coffee as the ice cubes in their iced coffee, so (unlike many other coffee shops that use regular ice) the coffee does not become watery as the ice melts. The coffees were very reasonably priced as well. The space is pleasant and inviting, with comfortable seating. I was able to comfortably nurse my baby in a cozy corner. The owner was very friendly and welcoming of our 8 week old baby. The one downside of this coffee shop is that all the shops in the complex share a public bathroom, and it is not well-maintained. The women's restroom did not have toilet paper or seat covers, and it was dirty and smelly. The restroom did not have a baby changing table either. The owner indicated she had no control over the restrooms and was apologetic. The owner encouraged us to change the baby in the coffee shop and was very understanding and baby-friendly, which we really appreciated. Overall, this is a lovely coffee shop, and we look forward to returning! read more

Ambiance was great! But everything else terrible. The service was horrible, they weren't busy, but the two working behind the counter didn't greet us for about 5 minutes as we stood waiting at the counter. The frozen sandwiches they heated up were still frozen in the middle. As for coffee, drip coffee is fine. Their espresso machine broke so my latte was not good but I am not taking that into review as it's not their fault. read more

We came here while we were in Pacifica to run an errand. The chai was very good and my husband had a mocha that was delicious. What a charming place with warm and great people working there! I could hear and smell the ocean from the cafe. The interior is comfortable and cosy, very inviting. The drinks were great and I got some coffee cakes and muffins that all are yummy. I live in Dublin so it's a drive but it's worth it. Afterwards, walk for a minute and have a great view of the ocean. Not a great place for quality espresso. Over extracted shot, could taste the staleness of the machine (not cleaning between shots), over heated milk, poor foam quality, and the cappuccino size is 8oz so I blame myself for missing that red flag. Very nice barista though and if you're not an espresso snob I'm sure it's otherwise fine. read more

Decent coffee with awful service. We ordered a couple coffees in ceramic cups plus a bagel. Was told they had no bagels. Bummer, but it happens. Waited for our coffee and waited and waited. Since they don't call out the orders by name I kept looking for two ceramic cups. After a very long wait I went up to ask where my coffees were, only to be told they called the order a while ago and the coffee (singular) was sitting there. I told them I ordered two coffees and asked for it to be in ceramic cups. The girl shrugged her shoulders and said she would pour it in a ceramic cup, to which I pointed out that the coffee was now cold and what about the other coffee. It took a bit of back and forth but I finally got two hot cups of coffee. I then asked for a slice of banana bread. Big mistake. When I got it it was basically goo from being nuked for probably 5 minutes. Guess I should have expected it, after dealing with the person behind the counter. read more

Small business minded with customer satisfaction the top priority because they want a long time relationship with their clientele. What a coffeehouse! Way more space inside than I expected, brilliant tasting coffee and fabulous staff!

Coffee is inconsistent. Often it is watered down and does not taste good. Service is also inconsistent. I've shown up here a few times around 445 and been told they are closed despite their sign saying they close at 5 most days of the week. I used to really like this cafe but won't be coming back. read more
