1st time at pacific pizza & brew, disappointed by the prices and no lunch specials. Great beer selection but not sure if there is a happy hour with better prices. Ordered a 14' pepperoni and added Italian sausage, split with a buddy, pizza was tasty and had plenty of toppings. Location and outside deck - 5 stars. Pizza - 3+ stars Price/menu - 2 stars Honestly the location and outside deck make this a great spot. Just wish the prices would be reasonable or some specials would be available. read more

Pizza and Cobb Salad were killer. Little irritating that their happy hour doesn't cover certain beers and the manager wouldn't change the $7 pints (unlisted on menu cause the keg was just changed out) even though happy hr was $4. Shitty ending to a nice family dinner night. read more

Yelp is it's own odd little world--an artificial economy designed to make the creators of Yelp wealthy--so it always bothers me when people come here to trash an honest business just because they can. That's not right. :) Pacific Pizza is my go-to place: wonderful food, and service from some of the nicest people you'll ever meet. I don't know their names, but the hostess (is it Ally?) never has an off day, polite, kind, deferential, and welcoming to a fault. The owner--or someone in a position of responsibility & dressed casually--has been there twice when we're there and I can't remember the last time I've been in a restaurant with a more authentically solicitous owner. Service is superb. I know restaurants, and I've known some restaurant owners: there's no problem with service. Consistent food, fair prices, amazing beers on tap if you're into that--and you probably are if you're in Bend--with great ambiance and none of the attitude you can sometimes get from a place here in this sweet little town we love. You should go. Smile, say 'hi' to Ally and Jeff, have a nice Cobb Salad or some pizza. Relax. Enjoy the gorgeous patio and be happy. read more

I have to say, Their service wasn't great the night we went. But the pizza was impressively good. It seemed weird to me they don't allow for substitutions or any sort of changes to their pizza. I was thinking they were frozen and thrown in an oven, but, you can see them putting fresh dough through the roller. read more

Just had a really fun evening on the deck at this new brew house. Tap list is absolutely perfect and has something for everyone. (PLEASE don't ever change it to the same old Bend standards we are all super tired of!!!'). Server was absolutely adorable. He recommended the BBQ pizza which normally would not be my first pick. I have to admit it was ridiculously good. The subtle sweetness of the bbq sauce was perfectly balanced by the salty blue cheese followed by the spike of red onion. The kale salad is also a hit, perfectly dressed and delicious. For casual fun that isn't the downtown Bend tourist chaos, this is my new secret spot. read more

I love this pizza place! The kale salad is an absolute must, as well as their lunch specials "pizza by the slice". We have come here in big parties and the staff I very laid back and accommodating. Our 6 year old loves the checkers set, as well as crayons and paper, even chalk. Very kid friendly and the staff is not rude about it at all. To go is also great because it's quick, and the best pizza in town.. My personal opinion of course.. But I do very much prefer it. We've been here a few times now, and will probably return, but with a few reservations. PROS: The atmosphere is awesome. The decor is beautiful and the layout very welcoming. The patio is great for warmer evenings. The drink selection is great. The pizza (regular crust) is tasty - not out of this world, but tasty. The pesto is delish. The owner is friendly. CONS: Staff makes lots of mistakes and blanks on requests. The Gluten-Free crust literally tastes like cardboard. It's inedible, which is a huge bummer because while my husband and kids are not GF, I am. It would be torture to eat a salad while they all much on pizza. So there it is. Still looking for that awesome NY style pizza place in town! read more

On a good note, the crust is amazing and the ingredients are fresh. However, we ordered two 18" pizzas and it was a total of over $92. Not only that, but the ingredients, even though they were fresh, were severely lacking in quantity. We may as well have ordered a cheese pizza from a major pizza chain. read more

The food and beer were awesome but I had an overall bad experience because of the service. Whenever a customer has an issue with their food, a server should always apologize for the mistake and then correct it. I myself am a server and would never use the excuse "in a perfect world mistakes don't happen", which is what the server said after the issue with the food was brought up. The customer is always right in this situation and all a server has to do is apologize and fix the mistake to solve the problem. In my case, the server really didn't give a crap about the issue, which makes for an overall uncomfortable experience. Also, I was not ID'd by the sever and was served alcohol. From my experience, Bend residents have a great deal of pride for their local establishments. Most of the people who live there are also much more friendly and accommodating than most places we visit. There are always exceptions to every rule and Pacific Pizza is that exception. A pizza parlor is supposed to be a family oriented atmosphere that welcomes children of all ages. As a parent, it is reasonable to expect the staff to keep their language clean and not make fun of other patrons. What my children witnessed during our experience at this particular pizza parlor was far from family friendly. The pizza is decent. I would put it on par with a Little Caesars. They have some "fancy" toppings in the list of offerings, but are very conservative with how much they actually put on the pie. They also have a gluten free crust, but prepare it in the same area and cook it in the same ovens are the others. This is a major issue if you have celiacs and are truly gluten intolerant. The prices are on par with a gourmet pizza restaurant in Seattle or San Francisco. I just wouldn't put anything besides the building in that category. I was also shocked to read another review that stated they charge a mandatory gratuity for parties of 7 or more. That is definitely the first pizza parlor that we've ever visited with such a stipulation. I didn't actually believe it, so I had to confirm for myself. It's true! I like the building. It is very nice and welcoming. If they made better food and provided a better atmosphere, it would be good. read more

You cussed out the owner, tried to get him to "take it outside" and "settle it" you called the server a peasant! You made an ass out of yourself. Your son or whoever that was said "cmon mother------" to the owner to try to get him to fight! PATHETIC. Worst patrons ever. The rest of the restaurant got a good laugh out of you after you left. Really enjoyed our first , but not last, visit to this pizza joint. At first we were a little put off Very busy with kids running around and the bartender was so busy he never even acknowledged us. But, the hostess was very sweet and gave us a nice table right away and our server was great. Even the owner/ manager came by to check on us. Our salad was great and we shared. And the pizza was awesome we had the pork carnitas style, very tasty and the crust was perfect. Fun evening! read more

I live here. I have tired almost all the pizza. This pizza joint is fabulous. They use amazing ingredients and higher end meat selections. It's truly the best spot (rivals with 10 barrel) here in Bend. They also have a great selection of beer. No kids menu though (bummer-and they should reconsider this approach). The pizza came piping hot and the staff was patient and kind with all 10 of us shouting demands. I really enjoyed my time here and will be going back!!!! read more

Bend is NOT known for its good pizza. Most places are terrible. This however is the exception. Great pizza and the crust is excellent. Great tap list and friendly attentive waitstaff. We have been driving by this place since it opened. Good pizza is hard to find in Bend and we already enjoy a local hot spot. We decided to give it a try on a Friday. The restaurant is really big inside and clean. We have small kids and most pizza places have such huge slices with huge toppings the kids have a hard time eating. The menu has a lot of nice options. I ordered the spicy wings for an appetizer. I absolutely loved them, they were so hot the kids were complaining it hurt their noses just smelling them. They are some of the best hot wings in Bend. Another great option was the different sizes of pizzas. We were able to ordered a few 10" pizzas to give a few a try. The first was a plan cheese, which my son really enjoyed. The second was a Hawaiian, this pizza was super fresh and really tasty. The third was a combination pizza, this pizza didn't make it home as it was eaten there. The combination was definitely my favorite, it was very fresh and easy to eat. If you are looking for a great place for the whole family give Pacific Pizza a try. This is truly the best pizza in town! The crust is perfectly baked and there are just the right amounts of cheese, sauce and fresh and delicious toppings. The beer selection was amazing too and patio seating accommodated our party which included two dogs. We watched a beautiful sunset from our table! Service was friendly and efficient. He was so angry, I don't even know what he was saying but haven't had an experience like that with anyone in a really long time. I still don't know what I did wrong. MANY specialty beers on tap, local and from nearly. Zoe was working the taps the first night, and offered tastes and some advice as we honed in on our choices.
