I had a slow leak in a tire - made an appointment at Pep Boys and waited 15 minutes just to talk to the service person. Then was told it would be another 45 minutes before they could take a look at it. I called Pacific Tire, drove in, they had the car up, tire removed and found a screw in it within 5 minutes. Went here for the first time because the Firestone dealer couldn't fix a simple nail in the tire. These guys at Pacific Tire in Lawndale are great ! When I arrived, there were two customers already having their cars worked on, but they still got to me in less than 5 minutes. They're polite, friendly and FAST! I had my flat tire in the trunk and after they fixed it they remounted it for me...without me having to say anything. I brought my car in on a early Sunday morn. there were only two guys working there, and there were customers ahead of me BUT I still got in and out within 20 minutes...awesome! The service guy at Firstone said he couldn't get to my car until 2 hours. I highly recommend Pacific Tire in Lawndale, these guys really work hard and did I say they're polite and friendly. BEST PLACE!!!!!!!!!!!! I have been going to Pacific Tires in Lawndale for many years these are very hard working fast men who take time and do the job right!! I was told at Carson Nissan that my tire had a nail and it was not repairable. I was told that my tire would be $280 to replace. I took my car to Pacific Tires and they said NOPE $10 dollars to fix. Tires were serviced immediately. This place is awesome. I stayed in car while they jacked car up and inspected tires. They were able to patch one (that had nails in it) and they next day ordered a new tire for the other tire. Great Sunday service when most other tire places are closed. read more

This place is great! Armando is a gentleman and a scholar. I trust them and they are professional and kind and good! They never try to sell anything and sometimes they have surprised me with such reasonable costs. We never go anywhere else. We bring three different cars to them regularly for check ups and basic service as well as anything else that occurs. As a matter-of-fact I need to get in to ask Armando about a window problem. I had originally vowed never to come to this location because I frequent the Starbucks next to it and one of their employees cut me off one day while I was trying to find street parking. I'm a student so I wasn't able to afford the best tires and my two front needed them badly, so I humbled myself and gave them a call. They had the best price and most options in terms of tires, so I came in and got them done. The guy at the front was friendly, had them done in an hour, and since I didn't have the key for the locks, fixed it. That would've cost $10, but he allowed it to be for no charge since I wasn't informed of any charge. I was happy with that, so I decided to come back today to have my rear right tire patched. It was busy and clustered, so my guy and I told one of the employees what the problem was and went to the office to ask questions about how long it would take and get details. No one made a move to help us or acknowledged us even though we were clearly looking around to locate someone. They were all talking to one another and seemed unconcerned with our presence in the office. One of the employees had a cigarette hanging out of his mouth and the smell was wafting into the building. I'm a smoker so I don't care, but someone with kids might not appreciate that very much. Frustrated with their complete and utter lack of professionalism, I left. So now I'm at American Tire depot, getting my tire patched for FREE and best of all, I was helped courteously and promptly. I'll try it out one more time in the future and change my review if the service improves. If not, I'll never come back here again, cheap prices or not. read more

I called in the morning, got a quote $200 less then other places, the tires were in stock and I stopped by after work. Within 1/2 hour, they were done. I bought tires and got an alignment last year from this place just under 1 year the alignment that had been done was so bad that my tires, front and back, were completely destroyed where the metal that you could see was as thick as your finger. I went back and tried to get them to not repay or reimburse me for the cost of new tires but to possibly give me a deal on another set of tires and what they offered me was another of their alignments, which is what caused the problem in the first place. Then the manager tried to say that maybe I hit a curb or pothole in essence placing the blame on me. I would never go to this place again, no matter what do yourself a favor and shop around before using them. read more

Let's make this clear. I made my post because my car was making NO horrible sounds when I came in and WAS making a horrible sound when I left.. NOT because they wouldn't tell me where the other guy was. So your first sentence is a complete lie and I made that clear to you in person. I just thought if you are gonna pin the blame on him... At least know who he is. Or where he is.. A little more than a first name and cross streets. You never told me to replace the pads because they were bad. Just that the clip that holds them in place was missing on one of the four pads. The last thing I wanted was to cut corners. I just don't want to pay for the same thing twice. They were brand new pads. You didn't tell me you could help me yesterday. You said you were too busy to put on one brake pad and I'd have to wait till tomorrow. So that was a lie as well. Thanks for the offer of a new brake pad, but you already burned this bridge and should have offered that before I left upset not after that. Now I can't trust u guys and your misleading response full of lies to make u sound better didn't help. You keep trying to blame it on the other guys work but the other guy didn't have my brake sounding like it was gonna explode. I already went and paid to fix the problem so your day late offer is just that, a day late. I told u guys I was gonna post on Yelp and u didn't care. You even challenged me to and said u would just respond to it. Well I'm glad it worked out the way you wanted. I didn't want anything free. And I was gonna pay for the new pad myself, and the labor to put it on....even tho I don't have a lot of money. I'm not a charity case... And I have spent thousands at your store. Including over 500 for the tires I have now less than 6 months ago. So let's make this clear one last time, I came in... No horrible sounds from my pad w supposedly no clip, I left... It sounded really bad. That is and was my complaint. I could care less about the other mechanic and am not even positive he did anything wrong because it only made the sound after YOUR mechanic touched it. Now bad customer service was just icing on the cake and your lies the cherry on top. Stop blaming the other guy, I'm talking about what you guys did. And making your customers out to sound poor when they already paid 200 on a 120 estimate that you tried to up to 270 just isn't cool especially when that customer spent thousands in the past few years and been a loyal customer since before 1999. Just saying. Hopefully this will help with the way you deal with unsatisfied customers in the future, if not... Oh well, I tried. read more

Had to share my experience here. 1st and for most, I've been coming here for years. The reason is simple, it's convenient and fast. After my experience today, I will never step a foot in this place, I've recommended so many people to use this place, I'll make sure they too never visit. Here is my experience today, went in because I got a nail in my tire, right from the start, they tried to recommend to change something else, that I didn't go in for and there was nothing wrong with it(just trying to up sale me) I kindly declined it. A few min later, they came back said they couldn't patch the tire, because it wouldn't work.... so then we decided to get a use tire. And they tried to sale us a used tire that had a nail in it, guess for how much? $75 bucks. When a new tire is $100. Anyways, this place use to be a good place to use. But with this person NAME MARTIN trying to run the place, it sucks, he completely made the experience unpleasant, and caused me to never step a foot in this place again. Even when I told him I wasn't happy, he didn't do anything to help. After I asked for the owners name, he gave me some persons name Isabella and said she is the manager. Lastly, at one point, someone had mentioned to us that the used tire was $65 and he went grabbed employees in front of us asking them if they had said that... making it seam like we were lying or something. Completely unprofessional! And as I promised him, I would leave a yelp review. Here you so MR. Martin! Hope the owner gets to read my experience!!! read more

I had originally gone to their other location of Pacific Pitt Stop (who are also amazing) to get a tire patched but then discovered I needed a whole new tire. So I went into Pacific Tire and they were so welcoming and kind and I was literally in and out with a new tire for great price within 10 minutes.
