I have been waiting for 14 months for a simple repair don't waste your time and money with this company, Tom is the worst answering the phone ,text,email. The lifetime warranty they offer is garbage . Duramax the manufacturer of the materials will not deal with the customer only the contractor. Love it! Can't see neighbors anymore, and they can't see me. Front yard fence w/ gate came out great. thanks for your advice re: which way it should swing, out vs. in, left vs. right. Sound insignificant, but in the end it makes a big difference in traffic flow, when you go in and out of gate several times/ day. That's where your personal touch makes difference, bet those big guys, just let the installers choose. Tom is a nice & decent person small business owner, not trying to rip-off. Responsive, patient and willing to work w/ me, gave me options and let me decide. Was not a corporate pushy salesman, like the 2 other big vinyl fence companies that came out. Plus his price was very fair, not overinflated prices like those other 2 big companies. When I requested some options, he even vetoed them deeming them unnecessary expenses. His 2 guys did great job, everything level and straight. My only complaint is on front yard fence, 3 out of 10 post caps didn't match. I could see how they could make mistake. I myself didn't catch it until 2 wks later, when I saw 3 of them had only a 1 step elevation before the pointy part and all the rest had 2 steps. He apologized and sent guys out that wk to fix it. Then big giant crazy windstorm came & 3 post caps blew off privacy fence and were now in my neighbors yard. I called Tom, he said yes, they should have been glued down, but was overlooked. Had them install a vinyl patio cover in 2012. It is now sagging beyond belief. I have call and left messages at least 20 times--never a call back. Tom came out and gave me a bid. Art and Gary took care of the installation. Their workmanship was excellent. They took away my old fence and gates. I got three bids one from GNG for $2136 the second bid was from vinyl fence Depot at $2340 and then vinyl fence Depot was $1614. Vinyl fence Depot works with Duramax products. Do a little research Duramax is as good as you can get. I have had many bad experiences hiring painters and carpenters etc. what a pleasure to work with a Contractor and get exactly what you pay for. read more

From my initial call to Tom I was pleased, he got back to me promptly and he was over my house within a couple days to discuss the project. He was incredibly personable and knowledgeable and I immediately knew I could trust him. The end of our meeting was left with him promising to complete the work as he would do on his own home and yes he delivered!! Well, here I am. I recommend a lot of my friends and relatives to go with PVF. I did a lot of research and had 5 companies come out before Tom. I had Home Depot, Southland Vinyl, Vinyl Concepts, ect come out. Their estimates were 2-3x higher than Tom's. So glad we went with Tom. My fence look soooo beautiful. Before that, I had ugly termite eaten wood fence from the previous owner who painted it green. Boy am I proud of my new fence. Still looks brand new. Shiny and all. They use Duramax which means maximum durability. It also comes with a lifetime warranty which I love. I will only use PVF to do my other vinyl installations!!! read more

I was referred to Pacific Vinyl from a neighbor who had some fence and gate work completed for her property. I needed to replace a termite infested, rotting wooden gate that leads to my backyard. I connected with Tom who was transparent, honest, and patient from the first call to a post-installation issue that he and his guys quickly remedied. Tom is not pushy, doesn't oversell anything and he and his team do great work. It is extremely difficult to find quality vendors who care enough to deliver and install a quality product. To follow up on my previous review. I had an appointment scheduled 4/26/18 with Tom this afternoon at 2:30. Made the appointment at his requested time and day. I called in the morning to confirm. Just a tape message machine. I thought I would risk keeping the appointment even tho I got a machine. Maybe Tom was on another quote. I called again and reached a machine. I left two messages now. I drove the 14 miles to the job address and arrived at 2:15. At 2:30 I called again, got the machine. Left message. At 2:45 called again, machine, left message. At 3:00 called again and got a message. Mind you I left my phone number each time. I never received a message this afternoon or evening to say I was in an accident, car trouble or anything. I wasted my afternoon. He has good reviews on Yelp. I can't see why. I agree with Richard M.'s review. The others must be from family and friends. So sorry to report trouble. Yelp is so easy to look up. Moving on and you should too! A bad apple from the beautiful tree of life of contractors. UPDATE: ON THURSDAY APRIL 26, 2018 AT 3:02 RECEIVED A MESSAGE HE WILL AT THE HOUSE IN 15 MINUTES. AT 3:19 SAID HE WAS AT THE HOUSE. This wasn't any good and a rest our of time. He set the schedule, he didn't reach out for 32 minutes past the scheduled time. How long is too long to wait for someone to say they are on their way but coming. They use Duramax brand vinyl, so everything is custom and under warranty. Their price came in right at what my dad (a contractor) told me would be fair, and far below the other quote we got. They came out for the estimate immediately and were able to start the project and get the work done quickly. We also got a bid from another company and Pacific was clearly better all around. Tom the owner is super friendly, knowledgeable and approachable. Work on the fence and privacy gates was completed today and I have already recommended Pacific Vinyl Fences to a friend.
