If I could give this place less than 1 star, I would! This business is extremely unprofessional and unreliable and flat out dishonest. I needed my master bedroom window replaced and it took them 2 weeks to come out just for an estimate. I expressed to them that I needed this window replaced ASAP. The guys who did the estimate told me I should hear from the people in the office by the end of the day to get a better idea on how much it would cost. I did not hear back from the that day but I just thought since it was Friday, they were probably busy. Didn't hear back from them on Monday or Tuesday or Wednesday. I decided to call them and they told me that they still needed to run the price by with the manager and would call me back. Did not hear back from them that day or the next or the day after that. Again, I had to all back and remind them. They still weren't able to get a price. By the next day, Dee Dee and I started to exchange emails and they told me they did not have a price for me yet because they were not sure of what color grid my windows had. You would think the guys who came out to do the estimate would have taken note of that. So I had to take pictures of it and sent it to them. The emails were back and forth for over 2 weeks. Finally, the glass was ordered but then I was informed that it was back ordered and it should be here on the 27th of September. Didn't hear from them for a couple weeks. Decided to call them on the 30th and ask if my glass arrived yet. Dee Dee told me it wasn't going to arrive until the 27th. I informed her it was already the 30th. She said she did not hear from them yet and will track it down. As you can imagine, I am pretty frustrated by this point. They finally call me back and we schedule for them to do the install. I was all set up for Friday October 4th from 11-1am. I had to take off work to be home for them to do the install. I get a call at 12 saying that they would be there in an hour. By 1, they are still not there so I call the office to see what the issue is. I am expressing to them that I am losing my patience with them. Dee Dee tells me that the manager, Nancy called the install guy and had a "heated conversation" with him and he's on his way now. I tell her that I felt extremely uncomfortable with having a complete stranger, a male for that matter, in my home after just getting chewed out by his boss since I was home by myself. I told them I wanted to talk to Nancy directly to sort this out. JU was told she was busy and would call me back soon. My husband feels uncomfortable with me being at home by myself with the install guy and has to leave work and still gets home before the install guy. The guy shows up after 2 and does what he needs to. Still haven't received a call back from Nancy by 4 so I have to call her back. She then tells me that she did not have a "heated conversation" with the guy and she would never yell at her employee. It was just a lot of back and forth and I just basically told her that I am not paying for this service yet because they are unprofessional and came late and I would like her to give me a discount. She told me she would look over the paperwork and see what she is able to do. She promised she would call back on Monday, Tuesday at latest. Surprise, surprise, I do not hear from her. I do, however, get a call from finance asking to get paid. We told them that Nancy is still reviewing our case and to not charge the credit card on file yet until we get things sorted out. It's now Wednesday and still no call from Nancy and my credit card company informed me that Pacifica Glass just charged my credit card. I immediately call them and demand to speak to Nancy. The minute she gets on the phone with me, she's already throwing a thousand excuses at me saying how busy she was and how it took her over an hour to read over email exchanges between me and Dee Dee. I told her I didn't care for her excuses and I just wanted to know why my credit card was just charged without my consent. She said she was able to give me a discount so they just charged it only 5 minutes ago. I informed her that there was no communication between her and I as promised and I was never consented that it was being charged. There is no communication with these people at all. I gave them so many chances. While I appreciated that a discounted was given, what I am more concerned about is my time that is being wasted. I had to do their job for them and continue to reach out to them and to get things handled. Don't waste your time here guys. This company is the worse! read more

It started off with them never calling me back so I reached out multiple times just to get an estimate. Why I didn't stop there, I'll never know. They canceled the first appointment after I took time off of work. Second strike. I took more time off for the second appointment and they never showed up. No call, no nothing. I called them and they said the guy was on another call. Third strike, you're done. How this company is still in business when they treat people like this is beyond me. read more

We had family coming out for a visit and needed the extra bathroom. Yesenia was able to adjust their installation schedule on short notice to accommodate our needs. I can't say enough about the competency and professionalism of the Pacifica Glass installers Kim and Trevor! They were faced with the daunting task of removing a falling 6 foot bathroom mirror that had been glued to the wall since the 70s. This mirror had dropped 4 inches and was resting precariously on a strip of molding. They were able to remove the mirror and reinstall it without any breakage, and without tearing or breaking the moldings surrounding the mirror. They also fixed some of the bathroom tile that had also been broken at the time the mirror slipped. This was an unbelievably delicate job. Needless to say, I was extremely stressed out about it when they arrived. They handled the whole situation with such calm and capability! I am extremely impressed!!!! I had an amazing experience with Pacifica Glass and couldn't recommend them more highly. My daughter and son-in-law's housewarming party for their first home was on Saturday, Sept. 15th. The Monday before, at 10:30 pm, my daughter texted me a picture of their master bathroom showing the very large mirror that had been over the sink area had fallen off the wall and shattered all over the floor and adjoining carpet into the bedroom! Thank God no one was hurt. Jordan tried to make some calls the next morning from work to local glass companies, but was not getting much response. I stepped in on Wednesday because I have more flexibility to make calls from work than she does. I found out by the end of the day that neither local Ramona company could get a new mirror up by Saturday morning (just hours before the housewarming was to start), but I was given a recommendation to try Nancy Cooper at Pacifica Glass in Santee - that maybe she could help. I immediately called Nancy, but it was 5:00 and she had left for the day. I called her as soon as I could Thursday morning -- at about 10:30. She took the time to listen to my (our) story and engineered a MIRACLE for us! She said she could order this large mirror for us and have it in the next morning from one of her suppliers in LA and then she could have it installed between 2-4 THAT SAME AFTERNOON! And her price was the most reasonable of either of the 2 smaller companies that were previously called! Now THAT is customer service and shows a compassionate heart for other people's problems. I really want a glass partition for my new office. I received a quote from Pacifica and asked them to get me started. Its been two weeks and still no contractor has come out to measure. Spoke with owner Linda, she says shes sooo busy that she cant send someone out for another week or so. Seriously? Very disappointing. I called due to it being a family owned business thinking I would get better help but that was not the case. Simply placed a call for a shower panel to be ordered after calling 3 other places. After the rep knew where I was located he told me to call others closer and I may get a better deal. I told him I already did that and then we proceeded with the order. In our discussion, he explained it would take 2 weeks to order, took my name, address for the install and number and measurements and then said it would be placed. I thought it was a little odd no deposit was taken, so after a week I followed up. It was like a new conversation and now nothing was started and they are putting me on the books for a week later to get measured. I mentioned we already went through this, its a new bathroom, I had a previous company measure so I had the exact measurements. So weird how a company says to me they are just too busy to take business. Now if I were around the corner I am sure it would have been a different story. Santee to Cardiff, I didn't know that was too far when the website says Serving San Diego County. Now I cannot meet my schedule to sell this house because we have to start this process all over for a glass panel. Disappointing. read more

I shopped around and found out that Pacific Glass offered a great price, and also was recommended by friends in the construction trade (big plus). Renee was able to quote me, follow up, sent our a tech to measure that fit my schedule, and then got the window ordered and kept me updated. The installer, Isaac (I think), was super nice, quick, detail oriented and professional. He spent extra time with his own shop vac to make sure he cleaned up the area and then he cleaned the window and made sure it was just right. Extraordinary service, employees and work! We are moving from Santee, but we needed to get our master bathroom glass shower door redone for our buyers. My father went to the store and was so pleased with the kindness and work ethic he encountered. They let us borrow a plastic bottom strip to seal the door and prevent moisture from coming out. Once my dad got home, he still couldn't get it perfectly correct, so he called the glass masters at Pacifica and Rodney P. came out within 2 days! He did a once over glance at the door, and immediately knew exactly what the problem was. Within a minute, he came back up with all his tools and voila, the door was perfect. He was sincerely the nicest gentlemen and he showed me exactly what needed to be done and allowed me to watch and explained everything to me, while he completed the task. My entire family was amazed at how kind, compassionate and professional everyone treated us. We had a complicated project involving crafting very large dual-pane glass inserts to replace existing single pane windows, and several other companies were unable to provide appropriate replacement windows. Once we engaged the team from Pacifca, initial evaluation of the project and measurements were performed promptly and an accurate estimate and description of the replacements was provided. Construction was achieved within the agreed time and installation commenced exactly on schedule. The quality of the materials was excellent and the installation was performed expertly. The cost of the whole project was very reasonable. In summary, we are delighted with the results and highly recommend Pacifica Glass for their efficiency, courtesy and high quality work for a fair price. The windows look beautiful and have significantly increased the comfort of our home. Warning. Do not use this company. We are having the worst luck with them right now, which is very disappointing and I really hope they fix the situation ASAP. We ordered glass for a large walk-in shower in 7/19/19. Installation was supposed to be done 8/5/19. Totally reasonable timeline. But... they ordered the wrong hinges and were unable to complete the installation hence we've have half installed shower glass. They told us at that point they would be ordering the correct hinges. I have no clue what is going on. We have called the main office multiple times. Called the estimator multiple times. And no luck and still no completed installation 9 days later. Unacceptable and HORRIBLE communication by all parties involved. This has been such an inconvenience and bad experience. What there's more... Low and behold we got home today to a business card in our front door saying that they missed us to install the glass. Um, no one ever called us. No one ever told us. No one ever communicated that someone would be here today. I'm not sure if they were expecting that we just sit at home all day and could randomly stop by to complete the install. Uh no. We just left a message AGAIN for the main office (which doesn't even have a professional voicemail set up which is odd). We just talked to the estimator AGAIN and still nothing confirmed. Did I already mention this is unacceptable? As of now we will be cancelling the order and moving forward with a different company. That is if anyone ever calls us back. Otherwise, we will be contesting the credit card charge and again, going with another company. Unacceptable and horrible customer experience. read more

She and her company were very professional and did exactly what they said they would do. Not only did I get great service, but Pacifica Glass saved me a lot of money. We ended up going with Pacifica because it would cost us $400 less to have them install the doors than it would for us to pick up at the store and install the doors ourselves from home depot. On a Wednesday I ordered a simple rectangle of ¼ inch glass from Pacifica Glass in Santee. I was told it would be Monday before the "glass would come in." I was understandably surprised that it would take five days to get a simple piece of glass and I made it very clear to them I had to have it Monday to meet the promises I had made to my client. On Monday I called and I was told the glass would not be ready until Tuesday. When I reminded the saleswoman of her promise, she replied "I said the glass would come in on Monday, I didn't say it would be ready." Obviously this disingenuous lie was a trained, practice of this dishonest business. On Tuesday the woman called me and said, "Your glass is ready but there is a small scratch on one side!!" They knew this glass was for a very expensive table and that I would refuse the glass. One of two possible things happened: either they scratched the glass (incompetence) or this was another lie because after a WEEK, my glass was still not in. No apologies, just an arrogant attitude from a well-practiced woman who couldn't care less about the customers, like Pacifica Glass itself. I went to another glass supplier and ordered the same glass. Without being asked, they had it the next day. I know a business that runs on a pattern of institutional lies when I see one. I suspect you will get the same treatment from any Pacifica Glass store, not just the Santee branch, which, by the way, is the main branch. Disgraceful! No stars! read more

WOW!!! The combination of service and pricing cannot be beat. I needed a few protective glass covers made for a coffee table, console table and dresser. I didn't feel comfortable measuring them myself because I wanted to make sure I got the exact right size. Pacifica sent someone out to my house to take the measurements at no charge. I couldn't believe it. I was then also pleasantly surprised with the pricing. The price they quoted including delivery I thought was very fair - more than fair. The 2 guys who delivered the glass were also rock stars. And I just received a call from their very sweet billing lady who wanted to make sure I was happy before she charged my credit card. Wow. Every person we dealt with was professional and really provided that "above and beyond" service that is hard to come by these days. And the pricing was also so reasonable. I would not hesitate to recommend Pacifica Glass to friends/family and will definitely use them again in the future. read more
