If you need repair on your car ... Skip paddock! They used to be good, but I think with the economy being on a downturn they've become less concerned with good service and more concerned with getting a check from you for services rendered. These are not good services either. My car was stalling and idle was obviously off, car when sitting idle was surging also. They didn't correct the problem ... Within three days of leaving the car had same problem. I thought it odd when I picked it up that they had it running to warm it up. And mechanic was standing at counter as I paid. Additionally I had a problem with an extreme shutter going through 50mph and the steering wheel would shake and shutter and then smooth out. Brakes had already been changed, tie rods recently replaced and an alignment had been done. So whatever they did the problem was back shortly after. I called and talked with guy at desk and he kinda laughed saying "well, you don't always get on first try." $1000 after the fact! My job does not afford me the time to be screwing around with mechanics that can't get it right the first time. They had noticed a crack in my windshield, and when in there he said they could fix it. What he didn't know was I already had called a guy who comes to your house and would do it for $180. So I asked paddock what they would charge ... $300, until I told him my quote, and then he said if we can get same price can we do it? I'm convinced now they just rolled the extra cost into other things they did. I expect honesty and quality work from an auto place when you're spending that much money. GO TO "TEDS FOREIGN AUTO REPAIR". Reputable, good, fair affordable auto repair. Real honest husband wife team. Family business! I do not have the time with my job to be going back and forth to an auto repair shop. The least place you need someone guessing and charging you exorbitant fees for repair is an auto repair shop. I expect the same quality as I get from a doctor from My auto mechanic. Paddock thumbs down! read more
