In reading some of the negative reviews, you're placing blame in the wrong place. a) exterminating technician always explains that you will notice an increase in mouse activity over the first two months as they feed from bait stations. The activity will then either decrease ( depending on volume of infestation) or cease all together. B) Regardless of the issue, without the consent of the property owner, the exterminators cannot treat the property - regardless of public health department standards. It's the landlord's responsibility to contract extermination services. Michael, Ralph and crew have never let me down. I will continue to use them and refer them as needed. Oh, did I mention that they have NEVER tried to bilk me for money? They have NEVER pushed to sell me on additional unnecessary services. I live in a 3 family apartment. We had a low level infestation but my landlord refused to get the other apartments inspected/treated. I tried advising Page extermination to tell my landlord that they should look into the other apartments but Page refused my request as well even though by Boston Public Health standards you must get all apartments inspected. We went on with the treatments and the probably was obviously not solved. Page had to come back and treat all three floors like I suggested the first time. When I would call to ask questions about the process and how I thought it was being done incorrectly Page was extremely rude and were in favor of the landlord and not the tenant. The exterminator suggested we get encasements on our mattresses and told my roommate to wash hers. She did so and it got destroyed. I called and asked if they could replace it and they kept telling me how it was not their fault and they were just advising me. I told them I was taking advice from the professional so I figured they knew what they were doing. The page extermination employee continued to be rude and asked me if he told me to drive 100 mph in a 60 mph zone and got pulled over would it be his fault..... I eventually told him that is ridiculous and beyond irrelevant because I was seeking an answer from a professional about a mattress encasement. Rather than owning up to their mistake they tried to make it my fault. Overall, Page extermination is not a trust worthy exterminator. Although my landlord may have not known the protocol for how to treat a 3-family Page extermination did and refused to do it that way until they were told to do so when I got Boston Public Health involved. They care about who is paying them and not the people who are living with the issue. read more

When we had issues with mice in our home, we called Page Exterminating and they were very amiable. Their agent who came to spray was nice and friendly. He sprayed powder down larger holes and used cooper mesh in smaller ones as well as setting out black boxes. Unfortunately that was done on March 3rd and less than 2 months later we're having issues once again. We did get a 6 month warranty, so they'll be coming back free of charge, but nevertheless I am displeased with the quick turn-around. It's always nerve-wracking to never know if you're going to see a scurrying rodent run across your kitchen counter. I do hope they'll do a more thorough job the second time around. read more

After a couple of phone calls we were sad to learn the exterminators in Boston are busy people. However, Page manege to squeeze us in first thing in the morning the next day. Mike (hope I remember the name correctly - a really nice guy) came exactly on time calling with 30 min. warning as promised. Since we are new here it was the first time we ever had to deal with this type of problem and were really shocked to learn the price for those services, but I definitely feel that it was money well spent. Mike was professional and extremely thorough. At any point did he not make us feel like he is in a hurry or trying to finish his job as fast as possible. He spent about an hour in our apartment checking it out for holes in the walls (while moving everything that needed to be moved, even the really heavy fridge) and even went down to the basement to see if anything can be done there as well. After the only hole was found and closed, he left a traps (the ones that look like small black boxes that lock the mouse inside) around the apartment, and supplied us with decent amount of the simple sticky traps to put around at night. In addition he sprayed the place to prevent centipedes and all the other disgusting insects that like coming in around this time of year. Since 6 month didn't go by yet I can't really vouch for they warranty, but so far the place looks clean. I would definitely recommend them to my friends and family. read more
