A very simple but delicious place for breakfast very prompt and staff very friendly had the veggie omelette delicious

Do not understand how others are rating Page's four starts (meaning "Yay! I'm a fan.") or even five stars ("Woohoo! As good as it gets!"). Perhaps if this was the only restaurant at a crossroads with the next nearest restaurant being 90 miles away. But this is Santa Rosa and there are many eateries to choose from. Peg's is alright but will not be getting a second trip from me - it just isn't worth it. Menu: nothing spectacular. The standard scrambles, pancakes, etc. with four specials written on the blackboard. I went with a scramble that was huge but greasy/oily. The upside was that I had enough to bring home for breakfast a second day. Still, I would rather have an interesting meal with smaller portions than bland with large portions. Have been going to the Piner Cafe (on Piner of all places :-) for the past eight months when I have been in Santa Rosa. Slightly smaller portions but tastier food. Page's does not have sufficient draw to make me drop my Piner Cafe habit. FWIW, Page's is a storefront in a strip mall. Nothing wrong with that but I did drive past it the first time as I was expecting a stand alone building. read more

Wow, Cambodian crew that serves up an extremely good "American" breakfast. Santa Fe skillet is awesome, their hash browns are great (and I'm usually no hash brown lover). If you like spicy, ask them for some of their homemade habanero sauce. Friendly service and really fair prices, a good choice for this funny eating town. read more

I started coming here with the friend, and it's a cute little diner with amazing breakfast. It's tucked near G&G market and I cannot believe I have missed this place for so long ! The service is very warm and friendly, and remember my friends order every time. It's such a great experience, the servers are very attentive and knowledgable. I recommend their breakfast menu. We didn't ordered any special dishes. My husband had a steak and I had some oatmeal. The oatmeal here is not as thick as what you usually got from american breakfast place. The Corn Beef Hash Benedict is outstanding, the side of bacon is amazing, the coffee is fantastic, the service is stellar. Might be a wait depending when you get here, well worth it though. Never tried lunch, but I will. Possibly my favorite breakfast spot in Santa Rosa. read more

Been going here for years, cute and sweet family owned restaurant. Staff remember you and always greet you with a smile. Food quality has definitely improved and to gauge how good this place is, its always busy and a full house on weekends. My go-to is the crab cake benedict, the cakes have a crispy crust but moist luscious crabby center. The poached eggs and hollandaise add an extra oomph of creaminess. Pair it with extra crispy hash browns and you're good to go! My fiance swears by the chicken fried steak, he tries to change it up a bit but always goes back to that. Their sandwiches are excellent too, I make sure to grab them for lunch if I'm in the area with their wedge fries that are topped with this great seasoning. They also have fresh squeezed orange juice back on the menu! Always a personal favorite. The prices are a bit steep for a diner but totally worth it (since I obviously keep coming back for more!) read more

I was so excited when I first saw the menu because there were SO many options. I guess when you make so many different items its hard to do any one thing good. We tried: sausage patty, chicken fried steak, Sante Fe Scramble, hotcakes, & hashbrowns. The Scramble had no flavor, made worse by country potatoes that were bland and flavorless. Needs some salsa or something other than Tobasco. The chicken fried steak was good... light, crispy, and tender, but was SMOTHERED in bland white gravy with WAY too much pepper and creepy sausage slices. The hash browns were mediocre, partially crispy on the outside but kind of raw in the middle. The pancakes were mediocre. The sausage patty was just alright. We felt it was similar to Big Bear or Denny's. read more

Page's Diner is one of the only diners in Santa Rosa with an unique but delicious menu. Whether you are new to town or not, you should swing by to grab their amazing croissant French toast and other breakfast/brunch/lunch choices. Each time I go there, I find a new amazing thing to order. The customer service is great and the atmosphere is kid-friendly and great to go as a family. You feel welcome right as you enter the door. Exactly what I expected cheap seats, cheap food but damn good. I had the eggs Benedict vegetarian.... which i wish i had gotten the Canadian bacon. Instead it had sauteed spinach which I normally am a huge fan of. However the spinach was super musty tasting so much so i scraped it off and enjoyed the MOUND of delicious crispy hash browns and perfectly poached egg and thick rich hollandaise. YUM! My boyfriend had the Santa Fe scramble which was hot, fast, and belly filling! Even more so when they offered you a choice for toast OR pancakes with the scramble! My husband and I have become regulars here! I've never written a review before, but I'm glad my first is a good one! I'm a server, so I'm kinda hard to please when we go out. Page's has never let us down. Mom and pop shop, you betcha! I love coming in and having Page herself greet us with a great big smile. There aren't many diners open anymore, it's a shame. Brought my son there for breakfast, he's such a picky eater that I surprised him with the place, drove up front and he's saying oh no we're not going there, I said too bad were staying here, he ordered the chicken fried steak, as well as I and after the food was served he totally changed his mind and loved it, the meal came hot, everything was delicious and large portions, we waited a little longer than normal based on the amount of patrons, but it was worth it, (waitresses were a little disorganized but friendly), my kid will not complain about going back! read more

I had breakfast, first time I've been there and it was horrible. I ordered an omelette light on the cheese with avocado. My omelette was smothered in cheese with a rotten avocado. I tried taking off some of the cheese to find it was really runny inside so my omelette wasn't even cooked. Sour dough toast wasn't even good. The waitress was nice but she never came back to check on us or refill our coffee. read more

Page's is a reliable, cheap breakfast place. It's seems to have changed hands a while back and has sort of lost some of its appeal. I am a white gravy enthusiast and this one was perfect with nice pepper amount and buttery while creamy at the same time. Golden pancakes and hash browns. All around great. This little place is outstanding. While in Santa Rosa, and desperate for a meal, my husband and I stopped in. We were amazed at the quality of the food. We both ordered the chicken strips, which are such a simple food they make for a wonderful test of the merits of a restaurant. The chicken was moist and tender inside, with a delicious, flavorful crunchy breading. The fries were crisp and well drained, and not over-salty or under done as is so common. I chose a side salad and I was very impressed. The produce was as crisp as I've had, and served in a very attractive manner, something few diners would have the desire to make pains to achieve. The decor and setting are just what you would expect for a small establishment, and the entire diner was clean, good smelling and well organized. Our waitress (Page maybe?) was quick, helpful, and a vision of bustling energy. I felt right at home, and I am positive I will be back many times. I highly recommend it. read more

I normally love eating breakfast at Page's, however, today was a horrible experience. Page is obviously on vacation and it shows. The new waitress that was in there seriously needs help. It wasn't crowded at all and she never gave us menus, yet gave them to the tables next to us who just happened to sit down around the same time we did. Once we got menus and gave our drink order, she came back with only one of the drinks. Another ten minutes goes by before I had to ask to get my drink and have our order taken. She never came back to check on us and when I paid the bill, she never said thank you or anything. It will be awhile before I come back here and only if Page is working. Other than the service today, the food is good and the portions never leave you hungry! read more
