It's a tiny little place in the college Ave Safeway strip mall. The waitress was friendly and very attentive. The food was to me average and not bad. I got a blta breakfast sandwich, that a nice size, but i really was not a fan of the bacon they used. It was just not Smokey enough tasting for me. My 90 yr old mom got a veggie scramble that had jalapeño peppers in it and she absolutely loved it. To her it was the tastiest thing she'd ever had in her life!... that day. Darn it i failed to take pics of the food that day, but got shot of part of restaurant at least.

Good food and good service! Left very full, their portions are pretty large! I would come back here for breakfast again!

Very good. Potatoes are soft but crispy and flavorful. Biscuits are sooo good and the gravy!! Great service. Everything was great.

We walked in and it's a nice little hole in the wall joint. It has big windows so you can see what you are ordering as well as watch outside. Our server was so helpful and friendly ! The food came out very fast and they had T.V. on while you wait. It's not pictured, but we also ordered the chorizo omelet and I really recommend this if you like chorizo. It's super flavorful and yummy. I got the griddle combo with an order of hash browns and the pancakes are a good size for the price. Overall I really recommend!

Best country fried steak in town will definitely be going back to this restaurant to try our other meals!!! everything tasted amazing!!

Very satisfied with the customer service and food quality I'm coming to this restaurant since I was a kid and never disappoints forgot how good the food was. This is gotta be one of my favorite restaurants to go to in town.

Husband and I have been here a few times now and the food and service are always solid. It's a very small place so there might be a small wait but it's usually not very long. We waited about 10-15 minutes today. We're both creatures of habit and tend to order the same dishes. I got their two egg breakfast with ham (also comes with your choice of hashbrowns or country potatoes [you can also choose fruit over the potato options] and toast) and my husband got the breakfast burrito with chorizo, which also comes with potatoes or fruit. My server asked if I'd like a ham steak or deli ham; I asked for the ham steak. What they brought to the table required it's own plate! This ham was literally a porterhouse. I wasn't expecting it to be so massive but it was delicious! Eggs were cooked great and my husband loved his burrito. Their coffee was really good (total pet peeve of mine when breakfast joints have crappy coffee) and they also have fresh-squeezed orange juice (the machine is visible at the back of the restaurant) that I look forward to trying next time. If you're looking for good diner food and friendly service, I would absolutely recommend that you give Page's a try!

Love Page's Diner! I've been coming about once a month when I'm in town. Everything I've ordered has tasted delicious. I've been leaning towards the different variations of eggs benedict and they've all been great. Love the reasonable prices and attentive staff. Never too crowded even when stopping by for late brunch on a Saturday. Over the years, I've grown appreciative of good value and no wait times. This place is no frills but it's certainly a nice local gem you wouldn't expect that shares a parking lot with a grocery store.

    Fresh squeezed OJ - excellent!

Today my sister, small dog and I went to Page's Diner. It was 11:AM, she got lunch and I got breakfast. She had the BLT with onion rings. She said it was good, I tried an onion ring and it was very good and nice and crispy. I had the veggie omelet add sausage, and crispy hash browns. They were both very good. The problem we encountered was that nothing arrived all at once. Sis got her BLT and rings, about 10 minutes later my omelet arrived, and 10 minutes after that my crispy hash browns arrived. She forgot the OJ that sis ordered, she got it eventually. My dog had a chopped up hamburger patty, and he preferred to eat it when we got home. The service was good, the waitress was nice. So I'd normally give this 5 stars, but they get 4 stars due to the food not arriving all at once. I will say i complained about the food not coming all at the same time and they gave me a 10% discount. Kudos! PS: I forgot to take a pic of my omelet, but it really was beautiful.

raw Hashbrown, hard buscuits, gravy was not good. 12. Big Boy Breakfast

I dont feel good about leaving a bad review but I just dont feel right not warning others to save their money and dine elsewhere. I ordered the Big boy breakfast and they served me raw hasbrowns so I had to cook them again to be edible. hard buscuits so I had to reheat but the gravy was just disgusting. tastes like premade gravy and over peppered. they gave me the wrong eggs as well but those and the bacon were the best parts of the meal but i could have made that at home and saved $20.

I love this place. The food is great and the staff is very friendly. I didn't even know Page's Diner existed until a few months ago when my wife said she wanted to check it out. We have eaten here about four times since. I usually order the breakfast burrito with chorizo. It's pretty tasty. I will say the restaurant is pretty small so there's a good chance you will need to wait 10 minutes for a table. It's worth the wait.

What a cozy, nice little diner. I love how clean and family friendly it feels inside. They also how tables outside to enjoy the spring/summer weather. Today, I ordered a light breakfast of biscuits and gravy. My sister in law had one of their delicious benedicts. I really enjoyed the flavor of the gravy and the flakiness of the biscuits. The staff was attentive and nice. Very nice vibe. Since it was a Thursday around 10am, it wasn't too busy. However, typically I notice this diner is very popular on the weekends so I'm glad they added the tables outside. Will be back. Thanks for a pleasant morning.

With all of the options around it is sometimes hard to pick a place to go on a Saturday morning. Jeffrey's is a charming, family friendly establishment that is attached to a small inn off Highway 12. Other inside is pretty small, but they do have some outdoor tables. The interior has some lovely art on the walls as well as positive phrases making you feel like you're home. The service is also great here, and I feel like I've seen the same folks working here for many years. My wife and I ordered two different Hashes to share. The Brussel Sprouts and Bacon Hash is fantastic, which has this blue cheese aioli that gives the dish so much flavor. The Brussel sprouts seem like they're steamed and then tossed in the hash with sautéed diced onions, bell peppers and bacon. The aioli is on the side, but just adding a little bit to each bite gives it so much extra. We also ordered the special of the day which was a Smoked Chicken and Butternut Squash Hash. It has some of the same elements of sautéed onions and bell peppers, but this was served with a cilantro aioli. This dish, while not as amazing at the other Hash, was still really good. My daughter ordered the Buttermilk pancakes (added blueberries to them) with sausage and eggs. She certainly enjoyed them!

Food: Needs work. Ordered the Eggs Benedict. The poached eggs were on point. Absolutely perfect. The champagne hollandaise was a fun twist but couldn't save the meal. The English muffin might have been hard track. It was paper thin and I had to saw through it. Ham had no flavor at all. I don't think it was ham. Maybe thin sliced and unseasoned pork but not ham. Worst part was the county potatoes. They came out slightly above room temperature and hard. They're parboiled then flash fried. Not a bad way to get crisp but I can only assume they do this ahead of the rush and then they sit in a container to be served. My wife ordered her's extra crispy and they come out much better. Coffee smelled and tasted like an ashtray. Overall, I wanted to like this place and the service itself is amazing, but the back of the house needs some work.

Should have taken a pic. Our waitress was cheerful and helpful and she didn't bother us even though we were the last customers in the house (my back was turned so I didn't even realize). Food was so tasty. Had a (large) omelet with cheddar cheese, sausage (the Cajun) and added spinach. Side of fruit was fresh. Biscuit (I had to take a picture!) was ginormous and delicious. The service was super friendly and FAST; the diner was bustling, noisy and smelled of all things breakfast. You can tell looking around that people "know" this spot and have been coming here forever. And anytime that it is not exactly as consistently delicious as the week before; it's better, never ever worse. The service is amazing, always smiles, always there to refill your cup, but not pushy at all. The family who owns Mac's are always working hard and seem to be dedicated to their customers and community. You get the 60s breakfast style vibes without the cheesy decor that you usually see in "vintage style restaurants". You won't see Elvis and Marilyn Monroe pictures on the walls suggesting "we're like a 50s diner", instead you'll see family photos and local art/photography on walls that have been standing for decades; with a sunlight over a beautiful indoor plant, surrounded by delicious smells. My only complaint would be about seating, the booths are rather small, and there aren't a lot of larger tables for bigger parties of people. But the only reason I say that is because I wish I could bring larger groups in with more consistently so that they can experience the best restaurant in Santa Rosa. That being said, it is a perfect place to take your favorite person for a great breakfast or lunch experience if you want one on one time enjoying great food in a small booth with good conversation. I've lived in Santa Rosa my whole life and have probably been to every restaurant in town, and there's no place as good as Mac's.
