    Spicy wings

Loved this place! Spicy, delicious, fresh. You can't ask for more! So glad this place is right down the street. We ordered the sweet and spicy chicken wings, chili jajanmyeon and Spicy Chicken dish. The dish came out nice and hot. Everything was super fresh. Chicken was crunchy and super flavorful. The chili noodles were soooo amazing. One of our favorites! We were greeted with open arms. Seems like a family owned restaurant. The sitting area is moderately sized. Everyone was very nice and welcoming. Ambiance reminded me of an authentic mom and pop shop. Yall need to come show love to thos place if you love Korean food.

Food quality is as expected from Paik's Noodle. Consistent with other locations. This location is more seated, dine in, compared to some other locations where it's more self-serve. Staff were very friendly and explained everything. Only thing was that the pickled radish was kept behind counter so had to request for more instead of being self serve like other locations. Very stingy... was given 1 plate with 3 radish for 2 people to share... we ordered 2 bowls of jajangmyeon so ate least should've gotten 2 plates. And if 1 plate... more than 3 slices? Asked for more and was given also another 6 slices for 2 people. Just felt like they could've been more generous considering the bowl is pretty large. Then, wasn't given tap water (some tables had it, we weren't given any), on the menu had bottled water and sodas. If we have to ask for it, they should add to the menu for us to order too then.

I had a nice time going to Paik's Noodle. They have a tap to order machine at your table so you don't have to wait in line to order at the counter. I will say if you want to customize your order you can't so you'll still have to order at the counter. I asked for no bean sprouts on my chicken fried rice and they were accommodating. Our meals were delicious and great atmosphere wheee I didn't feel cramped in this place so that was nice.

I've visited 3 Paik's Noodle locations in the Greater Houston area --- and this one is my favorite! The owner mentioned that Chef Baek Jong Won even visited this location about a month ago! I wish I would've been there that day. The service was so warm and friendly. The food was delicious. The consistent standards are evident at Paik's Noodles. I felt a little congested the day I went in, and the warm and spicy side of jjampong soup was just what I needed! Each table has its own tablet for ordering, but customers were also ordering at the counter for take away orders. 감사합니다

CYPRESS, TX 77433 / KOREAN-CHINESE SPECIALITY CUISINE / 05-26-25 & 10/04/25 / LUNCH / 2 Adults, 2 Kids +The jjampong was pretty good. It had a nice variety of seafood and the broth was full of umami. +Their tangsuyuk (sweet and sour pork) is great. +The jjajangmyeon was a bit watery and too sweet in my opinion, but the kids enjoyed it. -The shrimp fried rice was mushy, not like other wok-tossed fried rice dishes that you would find at Korean-Chinese restaurants. Overall, it's a nice option if you're in the Cypress area near North Fry and Barker.

I've tried lots of Paik's locations across the country - this is the BEST! The korean owners put a lot of care into honoring the flavors of jajangmyeon & jjamppong & the side dishes as well! Jajangmyeon & jjamppong were DELICIOUS. The kkangpoongi (spicy crispy chicken) was also sooo well fried and spiced. Even my immigrant korean parents approved. PS. Don't forget to add vinegar to your radish

The best jajangmyeon you can get in the area. My family loves this place. This time we tasted the wings and they were so good and crispy. Love the quick service and easy to order menu.

Whenever I am craving jjajangmyeon, Paik's is my go to! The restaurant is easy to find, located in a plaza with plenty of parking. The interior is nice and clean with lots of tables and seats. I have been here 3 times so far and the quality of the food has been consistent. The jjajangmyeon noodles are plump and chewy, and the jjajang sauce is rich and savory. The tangsuyuk (served with sweet and sour sauce) is crispy on the outside, has an addictive chew, and pairs well with the noodles. The service is great, all thanks to the kind and attentive staff. One time, they sent free dumplings to our table when they noticed we were celebrating a birthday! Please check out this Paik's location if you are in the area!

The food is delicious! Tastes homemade and was brought out fresh and ready to enjoy with your family! We all couldn't help but to order everything because the menu looked so good and we wanted to try everything! So happy we did because it was all tasty! Can't wait to go back and eat more! Thank you to Heidi and her staff for a great experience with food and good service!

Order at the table- Jajangmyeon is very good- I think the sweet and sour pork had better texture at the original location. The yellow radish also stood out for the freshness and it wasn't overly sweet. The lady was very nice and gave us extra. We shall return when the craving hits for Korean-Chinese!

We came here for Jajangmyeon for dinner and ordered the Sweet & Sour Pork, Meat Jajangmyeon, and Original Jajangmyeon. The Jajangmyeon was really good--I'd rate it an 8.5/10. To be honest, I didn't notice much difference between the Meat Jajangmyeon and the Original--the only real difference was the extra meat. Both had that rich, savory black bean sauce and paired perfectly with the crunchy, yellow radish. The radish was great palate cleanser between bites. The Sweet and Sour Pork, on the other hand, was a 6/10 for me. I liked that it was served with the sauce on the side, keeping the pork crispy instead of soggy. The sauce was much sweeter than I thought it would be, which didn't quite suit my taste. That said, I did enjoy the variety of vegetables in the sauce, especially my favorite--wood ear mushrooms. Overall, it was a solid meal!

Having heard about Korean/Chinese food existing since a visit to DFW area, I was eager to try Paik's locally in Cypress. The restaurant is a fully renovated former Frenchy's, clean restaurant! Parking is easy. Each table has tablets to order your food. There's also something about Korean eateries and the stainless steel cups - ice cold water tastes even better! We had the sweet and sour pork and and jajangmyeon. The sweet and sour pork came out fast, crispy and dipping sauce was great! The jajangmyeon took longer to prepare for some reason but our waitress offered a free drink for the wait. The dish was excellent, though I wish it came with more pork (though you can order extra meat for an additional charge). Overall we definitely will be back! Great customer service, kind wait staff.

Loved this place. First time we tried Paik's Cypress Noddle and the food and flavors were amazing. Can't wait to return and try something new next time. The service was great and very friendly. Easy to order from an electronic menu at your table. Great place.

Overall, it was a good experience with a few standout items and a couple areas that could be improved. I ordered the shrimp with lobster sauce and steamed shrimp dumplings. The shrimp with lobster sauce was definitely the highlight...very flavorful, generous portion of shrimp, and I really enjoyed the texture from the egg whites. I could have done without the imitation lobster, but it didn't take away too much from the dish. The steamed shrimp dumplings were just okay. Not bad by any means, but they didn't stand out compared to others I've had. The fried rice was tasty, though I did miss having the traditional vegetables mixed in. Service is where there's some room for improvement. I was the only dine-in customer at the time, and my water was never refilled during the visit. Overall, I enjoyed the food and would come back to try more dishes. With a few small tweaks, this place could easily become a go-to spot.

Not me, that's for sure, but after a long day this proved to be an incredibly welcome dinner! The soup dumplings were plump and savory. The Kung pao Brussels sprouts slightly sweet and sour, and the spicy, crispy, chicken...well it'll numb your mouth, and it will be worth it. Somehow they've found the sweet spot (not literally) by creating that classic Sichuan tongue numbing spice, without creating a spicy dish per se. Apart from the numbness, the dish reads more savory than anything else. I do wish the dumplings came with either dumpling sauce, chili crunch or both, and that the crispy spicy chicken came with something to coat the rice (it's a bit dry with steamed rice alone), but all and all, I enjoyed everything I ordered and will certainly be returning for the full dine-in experience.

Unfortunately this time it wasn't great. First off, the fried wantons they bring to the table were stale and tasted like they'd been fried in old oil. I like places that bring free stuff but don't bring something if it isn't good. I decided to step out of my comfort zone and get hot and sour soup. It was a good spice/hot but Not sure about the sour. It seemed to just be hot. For my entree I had Shrimp with Garlic sauce and white rice,. The veggies were crunchy and fresh. The shrimp was good but they didn't have that crisp snap in the bite. The sauce was sweet and garlicky. The cheese puff was very creamy, batter was okay not the best. It's just not my style. My wife had the wan ton soup. It had a good tasty broth and the wanton had a good thick wrap with a nice flavor. She didn't like her Orange Chicken. I tasted it and the chicken was okay, but the sauce was too dark and heavy. I just like my orange chicken lighter and with more orange- y- ness? She got fried rice and I thought it wasn't flavorful enough. It tasted like white rice that was coated with soy sauce and not fried enough. My daughter had a bowl of Egg Drop soup. It was very thick and eggy. The corn was a surprising addition. It was okay but would have benefited from some chili oil, which wasn't provided and we didn't ask for. Overall, the entire experience was disappointing. The service was good but the food was mediocre, the restaurant was kind of warm bordering on hot and the table felt sticky. Don't think I'll be back and that's a sad thing. I'll have to find another spot for Chinese food in the area.
