Came here bc it's close to my SIL's house. And we will definitely be back every time we come to visit. Service was phenomenal and efficient. Our server, Dom, was helpful in ordering and came back to change our grill often. I enjoyed all of the meats, besides the premium ribeye. It had no flavor and was pretty tough. Highly recommend for a something different with friends and family! We opted for the all you can eat korean bbq and sushi - best option! We ate until we couldn't anymore and everything was wonderful! I LOVE Korean BBQ and I've been to plenty of spots, but this one immediately stood out because it looks upscale and well put together. You know how some KBBQ places feel like a rave with smoke machines? Flashing lights, loud music, chaos everywhere? Yeah... this is not that. This place felt calm (as calm as KBBQ can be), not overly loud, and surprisingly comfortable. Even with multiple tables dining near us and TVs on, I could actually hear my party without yelling across the table. It's basically a standard KBBQ experience but upgraded. Now, let me apologize in advance for the lack of food photos. I meant to take more... but my big self was greedy and the food was LOVELY. The appetizers were dangerously good. We ordered multiple rounds of their crab puffs, which had the perfect balance of sweet and savory. My husband fell in love with the pork dumplings and kept trying to reorder them I had to stop him because sir, we still needed room for meat . The seaweed salad was fresh and clean-tasting, which honestly feels rare in Houston lately. I didn't get to try the egg rolls because my husband was way too excited about them and basically claimed them as his own. One thing I really appreciated was the portion sizes. Everything came out snack-sized, so nothing felt wasted if you didn't love something. Once we found what we liked, we just reordered more. which made it easy to try a bit of everything. The sushi rolls were super fresh and definitely a highlight. Our favorites were the Rainbow Roll, Red Dragon Roll, and Dragon Roll. The fish tasted clean, fresh, and didn't have that fishy smell at all (a HUGE win). The only small downside understandably since it was busy is that the sushi took a bit longer to come out since it's made to order. Totally worth the wait though, and service overall was still very good. As for the KBBQ, it was solid and reliable. My favorites were the spicy beef bulgogi, spicy pork belly, frog legs, and the 88 chicken. I wasn't a huge fan of the regular pork belly it tasted a little too bacon-y and not as savory as I prefer, but that's just personal taste. The sides were standard, but they gave a generous amount. I happily loaded up on fish cake (I LOVVVVVE fish cake), pickled radish, and white rice. I wasn't super impressed with the sauce bar, so I made my own dipping sauce situation and it worked just fine. Pro tip for KBBQ newbies (or guilt-eaters like me): order the lettuce wraps to wrap your meat and rice an instant grease cutter and fake health points . Overall, this place was really, really good, and I'm excited to say we've added another regular spot to our roster. The side and sauce bar was pretty good and they kept is clean. It had the self service Korean sides and some desserts. The meat quality was pretty good. The beef had good marbling and pork belly was fresh. They had some kid friendly foods like fries, nuggets, mandu, etc that you could order. This was good for our toddler since he loves fries and mandu. What was surprisingly good was the fried rice. It was hibachi style and made to order. You could pick your protein. I don't remember having this kind of option at other all you can eat Korean BBQ places. It was nice to have. We want to go back for dinner to try the galbi and ribeye. So excited to have some more asian options in north Cypress! We were greeted by a great hostess - she was super friendly and warm, explaining the options between KBBQ only or with sushi for $6 more. The space is also quite nice and inviting. It's a pretty big space with modern and bright decor for both the sushi bar and the dining area. There were a decent amount of TVs scattered around the space also that could make it a nice spot to watch a sports game. As for the food, I was impressed how expansive the menu was for the $39 price point for an adult eating the dinner KBBQ+sushi option. They had seafood, waygu, and sashimi options, which again I was impressed by for an AYCE spot of this price. The food all felt very fresh and the servers were very prompt with bringing out our food and asking if we wanted to order more food. However, I did think that the quality of meats and sushi was not super high, and some of the menu items came in small quantities. But, I think for what you're paying, it was good enough and you can always order more if you wanted more. The seafood quality though, I did think to be pretty high; I definitely recommend the scallops especially. 40 years later, this establishment has finally opened! (Ok. Maybe not 40 years... but it definitely has had an empty building with a Korean BBQ sign for years now.) I was super excited to have a Korean AYCE BBQ restaurant in Cypress, but my dining experience was a let down. Very slow service and rather best described "as good as Cypress can get with Asian food" in a nutshell. Pricy for low quality. First, the cost for all-you-can-eat (ayce) is $32. For an additional $6, you can also have ayce sushi. Second, whenever we asked a server or anyone in the wait staff for ingredients in the drinks (I've a dairy allergy), they responded with an "I don't know" or they would look clueless. Many of the wait staff appear to be in college or high school students who were over their head with the fast-paced environment of ayce. However, I think at least 1 person should know if their bubble tea drinks have dairy in it... or at least explicitly label that there is milk used in the menu. Speaking of the menu, there weren't any clear labels for common allergies. I don't recommend this place if you've severe dietary restrictions. Third, regarding the meat, there isn't a large selection (compared to other ayce Kbbq restaurants) and the service is incredibly slow. (Again, I believe it's the lack of training due to the wait staff's ages or little awareness of how to keep up with a fast-paced ayce restaurant.) They should get a bell to ring for every table so it'll be easier for us to get their attention. We didn't even bother with getting dessert, since we probably would've been there until closing and I had work the following morning. That's how slow the service felt to me and we arrived at a reasonable dining time of 7:30 pm. The parking is also rather small for an ayce establishment. You'd think the lot was large, but the entrance is facing the feeder road of 290. Don't park by the furniture store or you WILL be towed. Explicit signage posted. I think this restaurant is all hype. The only good things about this place was that you can create your own sauce, get as much sauce and side dishes as you want, and ample seating for groups and families! The pandas were also a bit off-putting for me, since the Giant Panda is Chinese... not Korean... During a birthday song, a panda mascot appeared and there are a superfluous amount of panda plushies by the entrance. It would be more appropriate for there to be a tiger instead of a panda. Korea's national animal is a tiger and the animal was also on my Korean Tae Kwon Do uniform. Needless to say, my family actually makes the drive to visit other ayce kbbq restaurants than 10-15 mins to here. We were super excited to try this new all you can eat Korean bbq place. It's $33 for adults and $19 for kids plus $6 extra per person if you want both sushi and bbq. Not too bad. You should know, that you cook your own food and the server does not do it like im other Korean bbq restaurants. We were seated right away and the place was pretty packed. We ordered a few items of sushi, and meats to cook on the hot pot. A lot of food didn't come out and we had to keep reminding our server that items were never brought out. I have been to several Korean BBQ places and this experience was quite lackluster. We went for my sister-in-law's birthday celebration and we had my nephew in a stroller. It was frustrating because although the restaurant was nearly empty, they almost made my SIL go an get a smaller carrier for him. Once we were seated with the BIBLE of the menu, we were already expected to know what we wanted on the grill and which sushi rolls we were going to order. It was a wild rush. . The spicy bulgogi is supposed to be the golden standard of meats but it ended up being weird in texture. The garlic chicken was flavorless. The short ribs were just bad...so chewy. I don't think I could vouch for any of the meat that we cooked or ate. The best thing was the sushi. I loved the Chicago and the New York rolls. Their marinated cucumbers were delicious, the wasabi was great, and the ginger was also good. The kimchi was not great -- it tasted like it had been fermented for an hour. The birthday part of the experience was hilarious -- a person dressed in a panda costume comes and claps with no expression as the staff sing a silly song and hold up a funny sign. Then they let you spin a wheel for a freebie. It was kitschy but it worked. First, they are a couple months into this by now and were hitting on all cylinders when I was there on Oct 20, 2025. Then, they were open for about a week or two. The food, I had sushi, was fresh and delicious. For lunch it is $21.99 whether you get sushi or Korean (one or the other). It is all you can eat, but honestly, who wants to go all out at lunch, so you just order your meal with maybe that extra fried rice or edamame. Service was great! I am so happy to finally say that there is a sushi + KBBQ place in the Cypress area that serves SUPERB AYCE sushi options! They do a very goody job of explaining how everything works from the way you order to how many/if there are any limits to anything (but I don't remember there being a limit to anything that we ordered). The options are your standard fare of sushi appetizers and the quality of the sushi is very good. We got the seaweed salad, shrimp tempura, veggie tempura, veggie rolls, calamari, and an assortment of other apps. We tried several pieces of sashimi and I will have to say that I cannot wait to go back and just try the AYCE sushi option. I do wish that they had slightly better timing but it's like I am splitting hairs and complaining of having too good of a thing but I felt like everything was coming out very fast. I was still working on my previous meats when the other meats would all come out. We tried the beef bulgogi, spicy beef bulgogi, wagyu petite iron steak, premium ribeye, beef belly, and the short rib. While there was no absolute favorite of these options there was a very strong tie between the spicy bulgogi and the beef belly. My least favorite was the short rib which is a such a shame because generally the galbi is my absolute favorite. The cut here was too thick and no matter how long or short time that I cooked it for the temperature never turned out right. Maybe it was a user error but I really did not like that cut. But besides that I was so happy with everything else. I think overall the price + the food + options + service were all phenomenal especially considering that now we have a proper KBBQ + AYCE sushi spot in the Cypress area. To top it off, you can do a combo of both for an additional $6/person. The wait staff checks up on you ample times to ask for any new orders and changes out the grill top when needed if you ordered Korean bbq. The selection is wide and there are so many choices to choose from. They also have a sauce and sides bar that is included as part of your meal. My family and I came here to celebrate my brother's birthday and we had a FABULOUS time! The interior is spacious, clean, modern, and beautiful! It just feels fun and festive as soon as you walk in. Unlike many other Korean AYCE restaurants, this place is bright and lively instead of dark and secluded. We decided to eat only Korean BBQ. I did want to eat off of the sushi menu, but it would have been more expensive because they charge $6 extra per person and everyone will be charged that extra fee, even if only one person wants to eat sushi. The customer service is GREAT. The servers checked on us several times and everyone was super friendly. When ordered, our meats and foods came out pretty fast! There is a plethora of options for meats and other dishes, so there is surely something for everyone. We ordered quite a bit and was pretty happy with most items. Fried Calamari - I thought this was fried a little too long so the calamari was burnt and too chewy. Shrimp Tempura - This was very good! My son could not have enough of these. He ate 6 by himself. haha Beef bulgogi - This was very good! I would recommend this. Spicy beef bulgogi - This was delicious! We liked this more than the regular beef bulgogi. 88 Short Rib - This was okay. The marinade was not what we are used to for Galbi. Usually galbi is my favorite Korean meat, but it wasn't here. Wagyu Tri Tip - This was good. You do need to dip it in some sort of sauce in my opinion. Angus Beef Finger Neat - This tastes like buttered steak at an American restaurant. Spicy Chicken Bulgogi - We all really enjoyed this! This was super good! The chicken was flavorful and juicy. Smoke Garlic Pork Belly - I'm not a pork belly person in general, but my brother enjoyed it. Corn Cheese - I didn't try this, but my brother said it was really good. This is always a safe choice and kid friendly option. Garlic Shrimp - This was marinated perfectly. It wasn't overpowering at all. Butter Garlic Mussel - I'm not a mussel fan in general, but my brother liked it. Scallops - Very good! Panda Cotta - It's pretty good. Nothing amazing. Mango Sticky Rice - This was okay. I wasn't impressed. Cheesecake - This was okay. Tempura Cheesecake - JUST ORDER THIS! This was the best dessert. I would actually recommending ordering it with the strawberry sauce and/or the Panda Cotta so you can dip the Tempura Cheesecake into the blueberry sauce. I thought the banchan (Korean sides) was okay. It was limited to basic items, but that's okay because I mainly come to eat meat anyway when it comes to AYCE. I really like their sauce bar! I also appreciated how they had a banner with ingredients to make certain sauces. Of course the ratios & measurements are not given, but it was super helpful because I never know how to mix sauces together. I also appreciated that they have DESSERT! Waitress was absolutely not worried about a tip it seems like because she only came to our table 3 times. And I bet she was real mad after too bc she got what she earned... NOTHING. The rest of the servers or busboys were rude and broody, not even being courteous enough to say excuse me when passing by and bumping you. The sashimi sushi was delicious. The grilled meats were well marinated and nicely cut. The vegetables were fresh. The servers and bussers were great and very attentive. They could've removed the grilled more quickly as the spicy marinated pork belly, pork bulgogi and spicy chicken bulgogi burned (common occurrence due to the sugar used in the marinade). The resistant is clean and has a very inviting atmosphere. Would recommend and we'll definitely be back. Came with my husband for Valentine's day to come and enjoy some Korean bbq and sushi. You do pay extra to add on the ayce sushi. Today they also had a drink special for Valentines Day so we enjoyed some margaritas with our meal. The margaritas were definitely on the boozy side so if you enjoy strong drinks, this is your place. We enjoyed a good mix of different bbq beef, chicken, and seafood with our favorites being the spicy chicken, spicy beef bulgolgi, short ribs and spicy shrimp. I would also highly recommend the tuna tataki and sushi rolls. Their banchan offerings are pretty solid and sauce bar has good options. I was a bit disappointed in sushi, I got an assortment of tunas, salmon, eel, squid and octopus. The salmon, squid and octopus were extremely fishy and the squid was incredibly chewy. The sushi rice also seemed a little overcooked or maybe it was a little old because the texture was goopy. We chose the KBBQ portion (although their sushi menu looked enticing.) and the food was pretty great for the price. Their menu had a variety of meat cuts, stews, and side dishes that everyone at the table loved. Additionally, our server, Yvonne was really sweet and gave some recommendations that I've never tried, but ended up loving! The only comment I have is that some of our orders were never brought out and service was a bit slow, but I can give the benefit of the doubt that this is a brand-new restaurant. This was my first time trying an all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ and sushi spot in the area, and unfortunately, I was not impressed. The only thing I genuinely enjoyed was the combo fried rice. Everything else was a disappointment. One of the shrimp dishes tasted so foul that I had to spit it out.
