Paina Cafe on Spring Mountain - The mochi donuts are the best! Consistently good quality and the flavors are great! Our go to is The Bento Box that has Garlic Chicken, Teriyaki Beef and Portuguese Sausage with Rice, Furikake and Daikon (Japanese Radish). It is a good combination. Also when we feel like having some Ahi Poke we get a side of 8oz Shoyu or Hawaiian Style Ahi Poke. I like that they have hot and ready Spam Musubi's available. They have Weekly Specials Monday - Thursday awesome deals for $10.00. Most of the time we order take out. The Bento Box is delicious. We feel The Ahi Poke is a hit and miss sometimes lacking seasoning, flavor or portion. The Mochi Donuts are always scrumptious.

Another spot for some good old Hawaiian Food in LVS.. The service was fast and friendly, the ambiance was just like back home in Oahu, simple and nice. Now let's get to the food. Ube Mochi Donut- This was soo good and flavorful. It was fresh as it just came out and trust me I didn't wait for it to cool off. They really got this down and the mochi was soft and chewy which I enjoyed which a hit of the ube. Garlic Chicken- it's been years since I've eaten proper garlic chicken and this was the highlight for me at this cafe. The chicken was moist and the garlic was heavy. Everything I wanted and more. If you're looking for some great Hawaiian food then be sure to give them a try. You won't be disappointed!!

The poke was a miss. They left the brown part of the salmon on which caused most of the fishiness, cut it sloppy, and barely seasoned it. All fixable problems, just not fixed here. Poke Express or Locals will do you way better. The chicken wasn't bad though. Crispiness held through the ride and had the classic sweet soy balance you'd find at most hawaiian/korean chicken shops. It was good, but nothing to rave about. The rice was sooo mushy though. I've got too many other spots on my list to come back to this one when I'm in Vegas tbh

I found it! I miss food from back home in Hawaii and this place hit the spot. I ordered the garlic chicken and hubby ordered the poke bowl with Kalua pig. It tasted just like home. They even have my favorite juice, Hawaiian Sun. I was curious how they got Hawaiian Sun in Las Vegas and the owner was kind enough to share her source. I really appreciate that it wasn't a gatekept secret. I love food and I love to eat, I'm definitely going to go back. There is ample seating and it reminds me of a drive in/take out restaurant from back home.

Tried the paina bento deal for $10. It was a good amount of food for the price. The chicken was crunchy & had good flavor. The beef & sausage were good as well. Overall, I'd come back to try more plates!

I was really happy to see Paina Cafe in Las Vegas' Chinatown because it instantly brought me back to my Hawaii days at Ward. Located in a strip mall with plenty of easy parking (always appreciated in busy Chinatown), this felt like a little slice of home the moment we walked in. I ordered the Large Crunch Spicy Tuna and added taegu and furikake -- and wow... it tasted exactly how I remembered it in Hawaii. Fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced with that addictive crunch texture. One bite and the nostalgia hit immediately. We also came on the right day because the Wednesday special was a steal: Garlic Chicken (sub Portuguese sausage) for $10. Honestly one of the best food deals I've found in Vegas lately. The garlic chicken was savory, comforting, and paired perfectly with the rice -- simple food done really well. And if you're coming with kids (or just love dessert), don't skip the mochi donuts. My kids demolished them within minutes, and the taro flavor was the unanimous favorite. What I love most is that Paina Cafe doesn't try to overcomplicate things -- it delivers solid Hawaii comfort food that feels authentic, satisfying, and welcoming. If you're missing local-style Hawaii plate lunches or just want something different from the usual Vegas options, this spot absolutely hits the mark. Will definitely be back when the island food cravings kick in again.

Had a totally positive experience here at the Chinatown location unlike the Blue Diamond location. The sole cashier handled the line and pickup person swiftly and with ease. I did not feel any second-hand stress. The wait time for the food was quick and reasonable. Definitely will return. Must try their garlic chicken plate and spicy tuna poke inari bento.

I usually come for the yummy mochi donuts, but they've been running weekday meal specials lately. I picked up the $15 garlic chicken bucket and the $10 weekday special--since it was Monday, the special was a Hawaiian poke bowl. The garlic chicken was super flavorful, and the poke bowl was generous and filling. The poke was tasty, and the kalua had a nice hint of smoky flavor--really good overall. I hope they keep these weekday specials going because I'll definitely be back for more. I ordered everything to go and recommend calling ahead.

I have a friend who goes to Vegas just to eat Hawaiian food, and this was the spot we visited. I didn't realize how many Hawaiian places there are in Vegas. According to Google: "Las Vegas is known as the 'Ninth Island' of Hawaii because it hosts the second-largest population of Native Hawaiians and Pacific Islanders outside of Honolulu." I ordered the Nanea Salmon Poke Bowl and the Garlic Chicken Plate. I was hoping to try the fried saimin since the pictures online looked so good, but they had already run out for the day. It was only around 11:30 AM, so maybe they just hadn't restocked the noodles yet. The poke bowl comes with a choice of white or brown rice (we chose brown), and features shoyu ginger salmon poke drizzled with a lemon citrus aioli, topped with red onions, radish sprouts, masago, and shredded nori. The bowl had a hefty amount of poke; they definitely didn't skimp! It was quite tasty. The garlic chicken plate comes with deep-fried chicken dipped in a garlic shoyu sauce. It's served with two scoops of white or brown rice (we chose brown again, because... healthier, I guess?) and a scoop of potato salad. The chicken was very flavorful and had a great umami taste. It pairs well with the rice, although two scoops were a bit much for me. The potato salad actually had spaghetti noodles in it, which was new to me, but it worked surprisingly well! Overall, it's a great Hawaiian spot that serves big portions--true to the spirit of Hawaiian food.

Its been a while since we been this to this location. We did a phone order for their Garlic Chicken Bucket- 20 pieces for $15. What a deal! Service good- our food was ready as soon as we got there. Chicken was so good! And the pieces we 're good and the size was bigger than I expected! Definitely would grab this special again!

I'm surprised I haven't written a review for Paina Café yet because I've been coming here for years! It's one of my go-to spots, especially for their mochi donuts -- hands down the best around. The texture is always perfect -- super fresh, soft, and bouncy every single time. On my most recent visit, I got my usual mochi donuts along with some spam musubi and salmon inari bombs. While I think their savory items are fine, I definitely prefer their desserts -- that's where they really shine. Service here is always great, and I've never had to wait long for my order. Overall, Paina Café is such a consistent, feel-good spot that I'll keep coming back to -- especially for those amazing mochi donuts!

Good food in an unassuming place! Located next to Greenland on Spring Mountain and Rainbow, it's a small place with good flavor!! We placed our order and they called us as soon it was ready. The guy we placed the order with was nice and answered any questions we had. I wish I had room for inari bombs but I was so full! Servings were filling. I ordered the Hapa Bowl and my bf ordered the Fried Saimin Plate. He didn't give me a chance to take a pic but I got one of my bowl! Would definitely come back here again! Very ono!!

Ask the Community - Paina Cafe

What allergies should I be aware of from the poké?

There are different types of poke that they make, so I think it would be best to reach out to the restaurant and let them know what allergies you have, and they should be able to tell you if you'll be ok or not.

    Do they have malasadas?

It's not on the regular menu. http://www.painacafe.com/menu

Are they back open for dine in?

    Yep!

Do they open their pick up window early (before 10AM) for AM pick ups?

They open early for mochi donut pickup orders from 8am. Now you walk into the restaurant to pick up your donut order.

Do you have any gluten free donuts available?

    Not at the moment.

Are these mochi donuts vegan or do they have dairy in them?

I do not work for them, but if they are vegan they have cornered the market on a great vegan dessert. I cook alot and I do not think that consistency is attainable with out eggs.

Are the donuts here light and airy or is it more like a cake?

It's less dense than a cake donut!

How do we order for pick up?

I always click the link in their IG bio and order from there. :)

Does the mini half dozen for the mochi donuts come in the flavors of the week? If so how do you order it online?

The minis are only available as plain glazed donuts.

Do u know how much for donut mochi?

$1.95 each for the regular size mochi donuts, and $12 for a dozen of the mini

    Do they offer delivery?

    On UberEats

What's the calorie count on a Mochi donut?

That depends on each flavor. I would call the place and i'm sure they would be happy to answer your question.

    Do they deliver?

    They only deliver through UberEats

Can't seem to find the pricing for the Donuts. Anyone?

    It's like $2 a piece

Are the mochi donuts gluten free?

    No.

Are any of the desserts dairy free?

    At the moment no

    Do they accept apple pay?

    Not currently accepting apple pay

Are any of the desserts vegan?

    No, none are vegan

    How much are the desserts?

Mochi donuts: $1.95 per piece Tarts: $1.50 each, $8 for 6 pack, $15 for dozen pack Pa'ina rolls:…

Are the mochi donuts gluten free?

They are not gluten free, they are made with normal flour as well

Frank's macaroni salad wasn't the absolute best I've had, but it was genuinely good--surprisingly better than Zippy's, a true Hawaii staple. The loco moco was excellent: the eggs were perfectly cooked, bright yellow and so delicate they looked like they'd break if you stared at them too long. You get two juicy hamburger patties and two generous scoops of rice, making it easy to stretch into two solid meals. The spam musubi was fresh and still warm (we ordered right at opening at 11 AM and picked it up by 11:30). They added a touch of teriyaki sauce between the rice and spam, which I'm usually not a fan of, but it actually worked really well here. The salty, grilled spam still shone through. I'll start by saying I'm a fan of the food "court" layout at the Durango. I use the term court,…read morebut it's more than that. Access to the dining area is right off the self-park elevator. No having to navigate through the casino. This was our first time at Ai Pono Café, but it is officially on our dining-out rotation. Our food was tasty and fresh. I went with the Spicy Ahi Bowl. The rice was sticky and the tuna was not over seasoned...fresh and flavorful. Our table shared the Spicy Poke Nachos. So good. The wonton chips were light and crispy. The restaurant offers plenty of casual seating. It is well lit and airy. The staff was welcoming. Service with a smile.

My husband's cousin first told us about Ai Pono in Costa Mesa, and when my husband looked it up, he…read morerealized there was a location right here in Las Vegas inside Durango Station. His cousin couldn't stop raving about the food, so we decided to check it out for dinner last night. We ordered the Crackhead Chicken and Da "OG" Beef to share, and I also got a Spam musubi I had been craving. The musubi was HUGE and really hit the spot. We also ordered a side of Crackhead Chicken without the spice for our 1 year old, and she LOVED it. Normally she throws her food, but this time she actually ate it and kept making the cutest "yummy" faces the whole time. The moment I took my first bite of chicken, my reaction said it all. The flavor was INCREDIBLE! It had a perfect balance of sweetness from the coconut and a nice kick from the spices. Everything worked so well together, and the chicken itself was unbelievably moist and juicy. I also loved that the meat was served over the rice, allowing for all the juices to soak in. The rice was soft, flavorful, and just as satisfying. The macaroni salad was hands down my favorite compared to any Hawaiian BBQ spot I've tried. I also had a few bites of the beef, which had an amazing flavor and just the right amount of char to elevate it even more. The only thing that didn't stand out to me was the coleslaw, but we found out later that you can substitute for extra macaroni salad for an additional 50 cents. We will definitely do that next time! Overall, we had a fantastic experience and will absolutely be back whenever we are in the area. One quick note for parents: there are no high chairs available, and we even searched the entire food court. Since it's inside a casino, it's understandable, but just something to keep in mind.
