I heard great things about this place for the longest time, so when I finally had the chance to check it out, I was genuinely excited. Unfortunately, the experience was incredibly disappointing from the moment we arrived. We got there about 40 minutes before closing (which we were very happy to see a poke place open until 10), but the open sign was off and the lights inside made it seem like they were already closed. That alone felt like a red flag, but we decided to give it a shot anyway. As soon as we walked in, the atmosphere was uncomfortable. The staff member on duty was visibly irritated, giving the customers ahead of us attitude, slamming things around, and handling items aggressively. There was no greeting, no acknowledgment, just a cold, unwelcoming vibe. It honestly made us feel like we were inconveniencing her just by being there. After witnessing that interaction and feeling so unwelcome ourselves, we decided it wasn't worth giving it a shot and left. Poke is a go-to for me, and Sweet Poke did not disapoint. They have 3 different options to choose from: small, medium, and large (1 scoop, 2 scoop, or 3 scoops of protein). This is for the bowls, they also have other options as well. Food: the quality of the salmon is great. the fish is tender and has great flavor. I like that you get a lot of different toppings for it as well! You get 3 toppings before you get charged for each additional one. Price: Medium bowls are around $14-16 which is fairly priced compared to other poke shops in las vegas. Plus i feel the staff gives you a good portion. We haven't had their awesome sushi burritos in a long time and we were in the mood for them. Sweet Poke was actually one of the first restaurants we went to when we first started dating, which was almost four years ago. We've had them delivered during COVID at least twice and I never thought about writing a review for them until now. We placed an order for two sushi burritos - the Dragon Burrito (one of my favorites) and the Diego Burrito with cream cheese added as an additional topping. The delivery time took about 20-30 minutes after the order was placed. While they were a little on the spicy side, they had the perfect flavor and were a great filler up for the both of us. Now I'm hungry after writing this, haha. If you have not tried their sushi burritos yet, you are seriously missing out. They are amazing, out of this world! We have driven by Rainbow a couple times and always glance by Sweet Poke, and repeatedly say "Oh, we should try this place next time" since we always go to the same two places for our poke, but we are so happy to have finally tried it! We got two regular poke bowls, which comes to two scoops of protein and your choice of three toppings. I got the unagi and salmon with half white rice and salad (romaine, spring mix, kale, spinach) with mild ginger shoyu sauce with the spicy crab, seaweed salad, corn, and nori topped with massage! I love that they have choices for their greens. They also ask if you want sauce topped on just protein or everything. I chose to top only on the protein since I don't like to have it too saucy! I love that they ask before pouring an overload of sauce. My boyfriend ordered two salmon with half brown rice and spring mix with the spicy ginger shoyu sauce with crab meet and some vegetables. AND the girl who put together my bowl forgot to put in the soft shell crab she warmed up. Do yourself a favor: there are 2 other poke spots on Rainbow within a mile that will give you way better quality and quantity bowls for the same price. I got the poke nachos, which were not super crispy as at another sweet poke that I'd been to. The staff was super friendly about my allergy, which I appreciated. However, the cost for the amount of fix that you get is a bit insane. I had one tiny scoop of tuna for like $13.00. The overall taste was fine but nothing super impressive. Participating in this amazing Perk from Elite Yelp! Both servers were very friendly and greeted me upon entry. I did have a couple of snafus with the Yelp app and wifi, but once we figured that out, it was smooth sailing. Much easier to place orders than most poke places, and there was an abundance of bases, proteins, sauces and toppings. This was a perk not to be missed! The veggies are all fresh, crisp and delicious with that zing of newly cut veggies. Spicy crab is EXTRA spicy, just like I like it! My mouth is definitely happily on fire! The salmon and shrimp tempura were so tasty I wish I had a bowl of just those for leftovers. The seaweed salad was salty and tasted fresh from the ocean. It was perfectly sauced to complement the seafood. The super cute sunglasses were such a fun perk and we thoroughly enjoyed this event. On Friday, January 3rd, I recently got off work and ordered from this location with my girlfriend. It was our first time, so we originally placed a pickup order for two bowls. Since by the time the order was complete, the pickup window passed as it was past 8:30 p.m., the online service gave us a refund for our order. This wasn't a problem, as I simply drove to the store to order the food in-person. I got there around 9:25, plenty of time before the store closed at 10 p.m. I apologized to the cashier/maker, explaining how I didn't mean to show up before closing but we had just missed the pickup window. She didn't acknowledge the comment and was clearly ready to get on with making the bowl (and clock out, understandably so). I ordered two bowls, with the ingredients listed in the picture below, same exact way. The cashier went back and forth as she was forgetting steps in making the bowls, forgetting Masago and Cucumber (she also never put rice as a base in one of the bowls even though it was requested multiple times, but spring mix was included correctly). She was flustered and seemingly talking behind my back to the other employee about having to take my order so late before closing (while that employee happily served the other guest with outstanding customer service). The cashier then proceeds to drop one bowl all over the floor on accident and gets to work on remaking it. I understood it was late, so I offered to have her just read off the order so I didn't have to state every topping, but she said, "I think I remember it" and proceeded to make my bowl while not including several items from the previous dropped bowl, such as Ginger and Shoyu Sauce. I was worrried that her memory had forgotten items and so I showed the order, asking her to double-check, and she said "Everything's fine". That was clearly a lie to me. I paid and walked out the door upset. Now, I tried to remain positive the whole time because food service can be a tough job, especially dealing with passengers day in and day out. I have irked food service and customer service for almost my entire work experience, so I am one to give these places the benefit of the doubt heavily. However, this experience and worker made our first time here VERY unsatisfying and I recommend anyone looking to order late night food here to turn their heads away. A refund or compensation for the missing items would be beneficial to my experience. read more

Things have changed since COVID and so did the overall price value and quality of its restaurant :( Pros: - Food quality per taste is still the same. Food is just as tasty as the first time it opened. - Staff is always kind and respectable. I've never had a bad or negative experience w/ them. -Overall ambiance of the restaurant is clean and nice. Good to eat during lunch or even for takeout. Cons: - Fish to rice ratio is horrendous! They give you more rice than actual fish. I used to feel full w/ just a regular bowl but now it seems like I have to pay extra $$ just to get the amount of fish that I used to. -Prices have gone up for more benign things like cream cheese, avocado, and even regular/large bowls too. Overall, I'm a little disappointed bc I used to really enjoy coming here. I've been coming here since it first opened and have been a loyal customer ever since. However, since COVID happened, it's understandable why things would go up in value but I still expect the same quality that I used to get. I don't mind paying the extra $$ just to get what I want, but it's the principle of getting what I paid for. My regular poke bowl looks beautiful in hindsight, but the fish to rice ratio just depresses me. They gave me so little fish that it doesn't even cover the huge amount of rice they gave me.
