I utilized this company to ship items I won in an auction and I should have picked them up and done it myself. It's been 2 weeks since the auction closed and the items still have not arrived. UPS keeps pushing back the delivery date. $80 for what's looking like more than 2 weeks to arrive - not worth it. Pick it up and ship it yourself. read more

INCREDIBLY OVER PRICED! USPS Ground Advantage to me thru PirateShip was less than $10. Boxed doll was incompletely wrapped with bubble wrap (1 layer NOT on all sides.) Book of trading cards not wrapped AT ALL. A couple of loose wedges of foam (not securing anything). Total price charged $49. So, they charged $39 (over actual shipping) for a package a 5 year old could've packed better. BEWARE!!! read more

Shipping charges are nonsense and unjustifiable, what a scam !! Never heard of this company before and hope to never again.

I made a purchase at an online auction and was not able to pick the items up at the appointed time/date and contacted PakMail as they were listed on the auction site as being the contact company to arrange for shipping. I made arrangements for them to pick up my items (at the time not knowing which items I would actually end up purchasing). They did the pick up after the auction and were in touch with the auction house after the auction when it was found that the auction house had lost one of the items in one of the two lots that I had bought. All of my contacts with Mehli and his staff were very professional. The items that they sent were carefully packaged and arrived in excellent condition. i had been speaking with melih on & off for several weeks in an attempt to get a vintage sofa shipped to new jersey..i contacted him after my buyer gave him payment information, in order to confirm the details..he was 'just about to call me' but was ill prepared to answer questions as to when the sofa would be picked up, how it would be wrapped and packaged..would it go on a pallet etc..i had previously emailed photos so he knew exactly what he was dealing with..he became angry that i questioned him and was rude, unprofessional and condescending, telling me what a good deal he had given me on shipping, how he had to hire 2 guys @ 15 bucks an hour to pick it up and how horrible it was to ship to new jersey whatever that meant...he told me he was a 'excellent businessman' and that 'i knew nothing'..he was right in one respect..i know nothing about freight shipping..but apparently more than he..i finally hung up on him..i believe he did not know a thing about freight shipping and was too greedy for the money to admit he was ill-equipped to assist me..melih, stick to renting mail drop boxes and shipping books for old people..btw shipped for $200 less with a PROFESSIONAL company... read more

We're in the midst of rightsizing & PakMail was recommended by Caring Transitions. I called & obtained information on out of state shipment which was provided by the owner, Mehli. We set up the appointment for the pickup for 9/1/15. He arrived alone which made me concerned since the shipment included heavy wood chest & other furniture items plus framed artwork. He reassured us that it was not a problem. We've never seen anyone work so hard than Mehli. He also handled the fragile & collectible items very carefully. He was right, he moved all the items by himself & got the items on the truck without hitting the walls or door frame in the house. We are very impressed with his work & the fee was very reasonable. He also made a follow up call in the evening to make sure we were satisfied. He made a commitment to let us know when the shipment will leave San Diego & arrive at its destination.
