Steve, the owner, is a pure professional. He provides customer care that is much appreciated and keeps me driving 20 minutes for services. I am in the middle of some matters that require a notary. I have learned a great deal from Steve as I have gone along in this work. He is well priced, far better priced that UPS, for notary at $10/ per signature. This kind of work that I am doing is not for my bank and I surely seek small businesses, well established in community when I put my dollars into products of services. There is a good reason these guys have only 5 stars reviews... they are great! They get things done, no fuzz, no monkey business. Highly recommended, love not having any issues. I did this review and low and behold I came to pick up a package, I accidentally pressed okay on a prompt from eBay changing my address, did not realize till I went to pick it up. Steve was just wonderful! Anyone would have said well that's your problem, cus it really was, but instead he tracked it with the postman and the people where the package went to... he called me the next morning got an update then called me a couple of hours later to let me know he had found it! Went here for notary service. I love that it's just walk-in notary during business hours - no appointment needed. The cost is very reasonable (cheaper than what my credit union charges for notary!), plus we were in and out super fast. The people were friendly too. I love getting my mail here! It is very convenient and Steve is friendly and accommodating. Prices are comparable to or better than other private mailboxes, and Steve is much nicer than anyone else I dealt with when looking at mailboxes. Super convenient to my house, and I have an after hours key so I can check my mail whenever. Surf & Post accepts packages from all services (post office, UPS, FedEx). I love not having to hold my mail when I go out of town; and since I started getting my mail at Surf & Post, I no longer wonder if packages will be returned to sender due to missed delivery attempts, since someone is always there to receive them! He also signs for certified mail, I may never stand in line at the post office again. :-) Steve advises customers on shipping surf boards, and he is definitely the man to go to if you have to ship a board or anything else large and hard to ship. He knew all about how to package surf boards for shipping, how many boards he could ship together based on type of board, surfboard bag Y or N, etc and had good estimates on the prices. My husband and I were closing escrow on our out-of-state home and, of course, the title company sent the documents 45 minutes before the Fed-Ex pickup time. We were set to close the next day and needed to get documents both notarized and shipped via FedEx priority overnight. I called and Steve answered the phone. He was very friendly, informed me he was the notary and that he'd be there for another couple of hours. We printed out our documents and rushed to Surf & Post. Steve greeted us immediately when we arrived. He was very efficient, knowing our deadline, and his cost was very reasonable for the number of documents we needed notarized. We were pleased when we learned we could also leave our pre-paid FedEx envelope there for pick-up - again, saving us time. Steve was very pleasant and professional. This is a great spot to get all of your shipping done. I used to have to ship via FedEx for work so I was literally there 5 days a week to drop off envelopes and Steve always took care of me. They have packing supplies, PO boxes and will help you figure out the best way to ship whatever it is you need. Even if you need to ship something large like furniture, Steve will put you in touch with the right people. He was also always great about personally emailing me on holidays to remind me of earlier pick-up times or when things would be closed.
