This is a very low budget restaurant. I went there thinking it was the buffet that previously occupied the building but was surprised to see a new restaurant. The iPad menu was presented to my daughter and I which showed a limited variety of options. The buffet part wasn't that impressive, they have the usual fried chicken and fries. They didn't have anything that looked appealing to us so chose to only get the fruit. My daughter and I didn't finish anything we ordered because it just wasn't that good, very generic in their approach to providing a new experience. It was simply a mediocre attempt to call themselves Japanese, some of the employees there were the same employees from the Chinese buffet that previously was there. In the food side, the lemonade was good as well as the melon at the desert bar, but other that not too impressed. We won't go there again. read more

The restaurant is very stylish. The decor is nice, and it's HUGE inside. You order the sushi through an iPad, and I'm honestly not a fan of that because they stop you from ordering more than two of the same nigiri at a time. Essentially, if you come with a group who all want to eat salmon, you're going to have to wait 5 minutes between orders... and the max salmon nigiri you could get at once is two orders (4 pieces total). My issue with the restaurant is the fact that the nigiri is LOADED with rice. 8 pieces of nigiri was well over 1 cup of rice. The sashimi is SO thinly cut, you get full off of 6 pieces of nigiri easily. But because of the time limit to order more dishes, you also can't really gauge how much food you SHOULD order unless you know you're walking into big mambo nigiri pieces. This restaurant has a great vibe. Interior is very modern and nicely decorated. Staff and service was nice and welcoming. You order your entrees on a screen and there's also bar food. The options for lunch were somewhat limited and bar also had very few things. However, for the price, I still think it's worth it. I like how the portions were small so you can try many things. Except for the rolls, I thought it was a bit too much because it's way too filling. I ordered 2 rolls and one was super delicious and the other was pretty gross. It was not fun having to finish that because it filled me up fast. The poke bowls had sashimi which was nice but needed more flavor. The ramen had a really delicious broth. Walked in and the signage was a little confusing. The sign in the building said Pakistan but everything else inside said Fujisan. Went for lunch and pleasantly surprised how beautiful the restaurant was inside. Got seated at a booth and the server was very pleasant. Since it was our first time, instructed us that ordering was all done through an iPad. Server also told us there was a small hot food buffet that had some French fries, chicken wings, chicken nuggets, garlic beef, orange chicken and a few other things. When I went up to try the buffet, there were a few pans that were empty of food. We ordered a few rolls and some hot food. Overall food was ok for an AYCE. Sushi rolls were delicious but the fish was not as fresh. Service was quick as there was about 5 sushi guys behind the counter which kinda look like a bank counter. Pro-tip: There's still some options to eat mostly fish with no rice even if you don't get the sashimi option, which is definitely a step up in pricing. They have the option to order half rolls and you can even modify some items to get to remove certain dressings if you want. Since their grand opening, they have moved some items off of the regular dinner menu and onto the sashimi menu only which is disappointing. Highlights: Overall for an all you can eat sushi place, it offers a good variety, and some options are of higher quality than other all you can eat sushi places I've been to in the past. I was particularly impressed with the hand rolls and the nigiris. Lowlights: I did think some of the meat items were slightly undercooked. I'm always a bit cautious when they over sauce certain items in case it's masking the freshness of the ingredients. The carpaccio are definitely sliced on the thin side. Hmm odd, I thought I already reviewed this place. This is my second time coming home and I love the atmosphere. You have spacious seating, a tablet for ordering, and some hot dishes to choose from. The pop music also makes this place give off a more fun vibe. Now onto the food! Fresh fish is everyone's wish. The fish is absolutely cut nicely and that's what you want in sushi for sure. Hot dishes are buffet style with orange chicken, lo mein, fried rice, fruits, a salt and pepper shrimp, and a few other things. The sashimi pieces of salmon and yellowtail are delicious. The all-you-can-eat sushi place we've been going to for many years suddenly shut down. We needed to find a new place, researched several, and Fujisan looked and sounded great, so we went for all-you-can-eat sushi and ended up staying longer than planned, always a good sign. Everything flowed really easily and felt relaxed from ordering, eating, talking, great service, to watching food come out nonstop from the open kitchen. Nothing felt rushed or chaotic, just a steady, comfortable rhythm to the whole experience. *Service: Hayley was our server and she was amazing. Super friendly, genuinely sweet, very attentive, and she explained the whole iPad ordering system really well upfront, which made everything easy. Even though food was coming out constantly and some was delivered to us by other servers, Hayley clearly kept an eye on us and made sure we were taken care of the whole time. This was exactly the kind of service I appreciated in an all-you-can-eat place. *Food: there's a lot to like here. The salads were small, but that was fine given how much other food we were about to consume, and they're included, of course, the dressing was excellent, lettuce crisp and cold, nice. From the hot food bar, the orange chicken was shockingly excellent, saucy, sweet, and really well curated (not spicy at all, just sweet). The chow mein on the bar had a smoky, grilled flavor that was also a nice surprise with nice chewy noodles, and the fried rice was also very good. I also liked that they had a big pot of plain steamed white rice available, I didn't grab any, but it's nice to have that option. Sushi-wise, everything tasted fresh, thoughtful and high quality. We had many different rolls and appetizers (see my pics for all of them). The Achikochi Roll was excellent, it was crispy, creamy, and loaded with great sauces. The Ruby Roll with whipped wasabi on top was fantastic, a favorite! The gyoza came out hot and toasty, light and crisp on the outside, but packed with flavorful filling on the inside, which I found fantastic and very different from most restaurants. Even the dipping sauce was excellent. The wasabi wasn't spicy at all, I would've preferred more heat there, but it was a small thing and they were happy to bring me Sriracha on the side. The carpaccio (they misspelled as cappuccino, haha) is really excellent, be careful if you don't like spicy, lots of finely chopped jalapeño on top. Overall, all the rolls were fresh, clean-tasting, and really delicious. *Ambiance: it's very comfortable inside. Bright, open, clean, and spacious booths. Not loud at all, easy to talk without shouting. I liked watching the steady stream of food coming out of the open kitchen, and my date also loved the different, pretty plates everything was served on, small detail, but it added to the great, fun experience. *Value: this felt like very good value for all-you-can-eat sushi. Everything was high quality, tons of variety, and consistently strong, positive, friendly execution. Nothing felt cheap or mass-produced here. *Overall: this place offered excellent service, fresh and delicious sushi, large selection, surprisingly good hot food, and a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere. One of the best sushi spots in the valley. It is embarrassing to say, but we go here weekly!! They have their lunch special monday-friday for $19.99 until 3:30pm and then after is their dinner pricing $29.99. We always get their sushi lover which includes most of the dinner items! There are so many favorites, but we love their eel hand rolls and salmon carpaccio. There are a lot of signature rolls that we love too. Their nigiris are also so good which is in their dinner rmenu. All of their sushi is so fresh. Everything comes out so quickly. You order on their tablet and the sushi plate comes out within 5 minutes. Service is so fast and efficient here. I love how we are not waiting around and bending our necks to order. They also have some buffet items that you can go and grab, but we usually just eat their sushi. The whole experience feels easy from the start thanks to their iPad ordering system. Once we placed our first order the food came out shortly after, and we were able to add more items as needed. The menu has a ton of variety, from classic and specialty rolls to sashimi, tempura, gyoza, yakitori, and other Japanese favorites, so there's something for everyone. They also have a hot food bar and dessert/fruit area included. We went for dinner on the "sushi lover" menu. The sushi came out fresh, well-made, and surprisingly fast for AYCE. This type of sushi experience is not "the best sushi" I've ever had, that is reserved for a very special place in Kyoto, but for AYCE style, I liked it a lot and enjoyed it. Being able to order smaller rounds on the iPad made it easy to try a bunch of items without overdoing it, and everything we had tasted great... except one roll no one loved, it had too much straight mayo on top- I added a photo for context of mayo amount. Otherwise we enjoyed what came out. There's an amusing typo on the menu. It says "yellowtail, salmon, or tuna cappuccino" but it's carpaccio with a mild spicy sauce & jalapeños, and was very tasty. I've only been here three times, the first time I came I was really excited and enjoyed most of the hot meat dishes and a few sushi rolls. After the first time I noticed they did take a few things off the menu already and there were a few spelling errors and food descriptions that were off. By the third time I've come in I've noticed I didn't really love the place anymore and food taste and quality wasn't as great as the first time, and the meat options I did enjoy were never put back on the menu. This is my new go-to spot for sushi. I absolutely love it. Lunch prices from Monday through Friday are $19.99 and offer a wide variety of options. I've been here for both lunch and dinner, and while lunch is great, the dinner option at $29.99 offers even more variety. The carpaccio is my absolute favorite - I ordered the salmon carpaccio about 10 times and definitely got my money's worth. When I go for lunch, my usual favorites are the salmon lover roll and the Las Vegas roll. The sushi has always been fresh, and I've never felt sick or had any issues afterward. There are plenty of booths, and I've never had to wait. One of my favorite features is that each booth has a tablet, so there's no need to flag down a server. You can place your order directly, and it's sent straight to the kitchen. It makes the whole experience much more efficient. I also love that there are dessert bars where you can grab additional treats. I recommend this sushi spot to anyone and will definitely be coming back. So worth it! read more

I'd seen so many cool videos of this spot, so I was excited to celebrate my birthday here. The moment you walk in the spacious restaurant, the decor is beautiful--very eye-catching with thoughtful designs and a great artistic vibe. Service was also great. Every staff member we interacted with was friendly and helpful. This is an all-you-can-eat restaurant, and while I've only been to a few, I was hoping they offered the option to order individual entrées. My partner doesn't eat meat and isn't a big eater, so the AYCE price isn't really worth it for him (our issue, not Fujisan's). Since I chose the "Sashimi Lover" option, he was required to order the same even though he wouldn't be able to take advantage of most items. It was $37.99 per person which isn't terrible but high if you're only ordering a few small items. I should have done my research before we went. I'm not rating the place negatively because the food itself wasn't the issue, it's what you would expect--we just didn't order enough to maximize the experience, so it wouldn't be fair. But I would recommend that future guests come hungry to get the most value. For the price for two people, we probably could've enjoyed a non-AYCE spot and chosen a couple of premium rolls or appetizers instead of ordering multiple small dishes just to avoid the extra charges if we don't finish (which is pretty standard for AYCE). It's more expensive for the sashimi lover selection. The fish is fresh and the rolls are delicious! They have a buffet section for some hot items, fruits, and desserts. You order through the tablet. I like how you can order up to 15 items and then after every 5 mins from submitting an order you can place another order. They have a wide variety of options. From appetizers , hot food, sushi, sashimi and rolls and more ! They also had a hot buffet bar. We only got to try their salt and pepper shrimp and it was actually really good. Crispy and big pieces of shrimp. We came mainly for their sushi. The fish tasted fresh. Better than other AYCE sushi places I've tried so far. I usually love salmon and yellowtail. We ordered the salmon and yellowtail cappuccino with the sauces. It was one of the best that came out. Their rolls weren't made with too much rice and was perfect. Tried some of their regular sashimi and it was also good. One thing I ordered I wasn't so sure if it was fresh and it was the scallop sushi. It had a weird taste. Few hours later my stomach was hurting and I think it was from that. Other than that. Soft opening at AYCE Japanese restaurant and Grill near my house so I had to try it! This used to be a popular Chinese buffet. They completely remodeled the place and it looks great! It feels very Japanese vibe. You provided a tablet and you ordered everything from there. They wanted you to wait 5 minutes between each re-order. I picked the sashimi menu so I didn't have to eat sushi rice. They are more generous on their fish cut compared to Crazy Tuna or Junn. The fish tasted great, I didn't get sick. The grilled beef short ribs and beef yakitori were flavorful. The rolls selection were decent but I only had the spider roll. I think they had fried rice, chow mein and some random food on the buffet line were strange. I tried some but next time I will not load up on carbs! They were lacked on the dessert section. We got there after 9pm so seemed liked they were ready to close soon but they still took us in. The restaurant is spacious and the server was very nice. We ordered on the Ipad and everything came out quick! This place is more like a sushi and Chinese buffet fusion. You can get good variety of hot cooked items at the buffet bar including fried rice, wings and even seafood like crawfish, fried blue crab, mussels in black bean sauce which we don't see much at other sushi AYCE. So if you enjoy sushi and cooked seafood. This will be good! The sushi menu offers good variety too! AYCE even big Japanese raw scallop and toro! My only complain is the toro was veiny and lil chewy, but hey this is a AYCE, I cant over expect I tell myself lol The scallop nigiri was great!!! Most AYCE places here over offer baby bay scallop sushi but this is big good quality sweet Japanese scallop. The sashimi was cut kind of not as pretty. First review of 2026! Our tradition is starting off the year with an interesting meal, in a nice place. We found Fujisan satisfying. Special NY day menu was $39.99 for AYCE, and includes everything in the place. We made our 1st order from the tablet on table, 15 items. Tempura shrimp, tempura vegetables, spider roll, shrimp tempura roll, and a variety of nigiri. Crab puffs & gypza. The good...eel nigiri & salmon nigiri were very good. The Ehhh...all the fried items were mediocre at best. Also... made a trip to the hot buffet. Salt and pepper shrimp pretty good. Crab was very good, best I've had on any buffet. Crawdads were as usual, not worth the mess. Mussels were okay. Wife then had udon soup, and enjoyed it. Finished up with more assorted nigiri. We ate just past the point of full! I deducted stars for an item having shrimp on it that was not supposed to have shrimp in it (bro-in-law has allergy to shrimp) and the staff not being helpful for this problem or in answering questions from my niece about something else and not caring. This is an all you can eat place and it has better quality fish than others. I didn't eat any of the hot buffet, just sushi, sashimi, tempura and kama. I do not recommend this place for anyone with allergies. Staff did not care about a potentially significant allergic reaction due to an item made with shrimp. read more

And when it transformed into Oasis Bay Buffet. So, when I stopped by for lunch, I was expecting sushi, hot seafood and Chinese stir-fry entrees, soups and salads. No sushi! Period. One stir-fry selection. NO hot mustard, vinegar or lemons. One of the servers seemed confused when I asked him for lemons. He never brought me any. The sole seafood item was Salt & Pepper Shrimp. This is clearly one of the best, if not, the best asian-centric buffets in Arizona! They've recently modeled and launched this restaurant. It's super spacious and seems to always have fresh food. Prices are still good and quality is still high. It's pricer than some of the buffets in Phoenix, but the type of food is much more premium. You can upgrade to get sashimi. The sashimi tastes great and comes directly out of the fridge, sometimes a bit cold. It really like how attentive the workers were.
