Plate of fajitas, , rice & beans w/ tortillas.

Food is good and plenty of it, service is great plenty of friendly staff , ambience is a bit noisy but it's a casino restaurant you kind of expect that, very clean with plenty of tables and fast service, we eat here regularly, love the fajitas ( not on menu) .

Inside the Pala casino, the Cafe has a decent amount of choices. Breakfast, lunch and dinner items. Mostly standard diner options. Everyone in your party so be able to find something to eat. But, if not, there's an Asian noodle place and a Mexican place directly across the floor from it. We like the Cafe as you can sit, relax and be waited on (same can be done at the Mexican place). Service can be a bit slow, even when the restaurant is slow. It's at the back of the casino so you can see the slots and occasionally hear them and their excited players. Food is good, not great. But, most of the items we've had before, we'd be willing to order again. If you happen to be in Pala and are getting hungry, take a look at the menu (they have a full menu board directly in front of the restaurant) and hopefully you'll find something that catches you eye. Enjoy!!!

Came here last Wednesday for my mom's birthday!! Before we hit the casino to hit the slots we had To feed my grandmother and mom! My grandmother and I order the steak sandwich which was amazing! The meat was fresh, juicy and tender. The fries were well cooked and seasoned just right My mother got a salad and loved it. I usually am good with names but I didn't get the waiters name. She was very sweet helpful and very fast Thank you we will return

Went with a few friends.. lined up and it took a good 15-20 minutes .... Got seated... it basically looked like a diner... ambiance was very casual.... :) Food on the menu, is basically diner food too. .......... Quality isn't extraordinary... is basically plain.... No wow factor.... The order taking took awhile. Also, a mix up happened... brought the wrong items and had to change it up and took a few more minutes... The only good thing was that refilling of drinks were on point. Bill came up to $100 ..... + tax + tip...... The club was filling ... choice of type of bread and side. Went with sourdough bread............ ....Sweet potato fries were good a little limp but okay. Would probably go back only if hungry and had no other good choice. ......

    Corned beef hash
    Mary N.

Honestly not that bad but the corned beef hash was really mushy and my partners had an actual crisp from being cooked longer. Mine was just a pile of mesh. They also serve the eggs right on top which I didn't find appealing what so ever. I love corned beef hash if it's got a proper crust on it. Just leave it in the pan? This way just felt straight out of the can microwaved bc of the no crisp/well done cooking. If you just got a great crisp on it, it would be great

Okay, I seriously debated even writing this because I kinda want to keep this spot to myself. But wow -- this was hands down the best homemade menudo I've ever had. You can taste the love and time that went into it. The flavor, the texture, everything was just perfect. I came in not expecting much and left totally shocked at how good it was. If you love menudo, you have to try it... just don't tell too many people, I'm trying to keep it under the radar!

BLTA with half fries half rings

Located inside Pala Casino. Open later than any other food place in there. Full service, sitdown restaurant. Fast and friendly service. Casual atmosphere. They offer both breakfast and lunch/dinner items throughout their open hours. I got a BLTA and they did half fries half rings for me. Not sure if they charged extra for it, as my friend paid and also we were all very inebriated after a long night of gambling. Great way to end the night, though!

    Chilaquiles

Went during a weekday so it wasn't very busy. The staff were kind and attentive. I ordered the chilaquiles which were nicely plated and pretty good. The staff were accommodating when I requested a few ingredients to be removed.

    Chicken and Waffles
    Archie S.

This is located inside the Pala Resort and Casino. While not really expecting much to eat inside the casino late at night after an event, this was the one place open past midnight. It's a nice looking cafe with a good amount of items on their menu and they serve breakfast items at night as well. Oddly that sounded really good for a late night bite and the Chicken & Waffles were just standing out more than anything. I decided to get that and surely it was very well portioned and visually looked great with 3 pieces of fried chicken and a large waffle and butter. The chicken were tasty and really crisp as it should be. The maple syrup they used didn't taste like maple and it was maybe just the brand they use but it was not good at all. The waffle could have been crispier as it was on the doughy side but again at that time at night when you're hungry anything sounds good. The service was nice as well as everyone was very friendly.

Breakfast burrito was surprisingly good, though too greasy by the end. Pancakes didn't have a lot of flavor but were still good.

It was about 6:30pm, and there was no line. The two hosts greeted us and quickly sat us at a booth. There were maybe 4 parties sat, and it was relatively quiet which was a nice change from the casino floor. I noticed they updated there menu, and it is now two pages within a nice birch type wood holder. Definitely nicer than previous menus I've seen here before. We were quickly greeted by our server and we decided on spaghetti and meatballs & the Wagyu burger with garlic fries. We didnt wait too long before our food arrived, and boy were we excited after seeing the plates. Right off the bat, the dishes looked picture perfect. A dish that would be handed to you at a fine restaurant (but with affordable prices haha). After taking my first bite, I was very happy! The sauce had SUCH a good flavor and wasn't watery. I have ordered spaghetti and meatballs other places, that were lacking in flavor...and this was far from that! The two slices of crusty garlic bread weren't soggy at all. The meatballs! Oh the meatballs. The were so flavorful and tender. My fork just slid into each one as I cut into them... just like butter. I couldn't believe it and asked our server how they are so good!? The server let us know their sauce and meatballs were homemade, and I made sure to tell her they were outstanding! The wagyu burger was exactly how you would expect it to be. Perfectly cooked burger with great taste as a whole! The garlic fries were SUPERB. I just couldn't believe these came from a little casino Cafe. Hats off to the new menu and the chefs, because we both left full and happy! Like I said before, if you're here or nearby, definitely give this spot a try. Its honestly such a great spot!

I sat at the bar and immediately I was invisible. I sat. And I sat. And I sat some more. A solid 10 minutes or more. At one point I stood up to check what was on a different TV than the one above me. Upon my return, the bartender finally acknowledged my existence and said, "Sorry, I guess I left you hanging". I then ordered a beer, which he poured right away. While I had his attention I ordered my meal. After all, I had plenty of time to look at the menu. Then the 2nd round of invisibility started. I finished my beer and was ready for another. I waited. And I waited. And I waited some more. About an additional 15 minutes. I finally caught the attention of the other bartender and ordered a 2nd beer that was never brought to me. Finally, the first guy came back, so I ordered it from him. As he was bringing it to me, I heard him tell one of the young servers, "Make sure it's medium rare". Wait, what?! That's my burger order! You're just now putting it in? WTF? Invisible indeed! Another 15 minutes went by before my burger and "frings" (fries and onion rings) arrived. I realize that the guy was keeping busy with the walk-up customers, but I was right there! Sitting right in front of him! I finished half of the burger and had a lot of rings and fries leftover and needed a to-go box. Good gawd! More waiting ensued. I finally caught a young woman as she was leaving the kitchen area and asked her for a box which she grabbed for me. Trying to get the bartender's attention for the check ended up being yet another exercise in futility. At least the burger was good (really good in fact), the fries too, the only redeeming quality of my visit. The onion rings? Meh. Straight from a bag of frozen.

To make matters worse, the music inside is kept at full-on club volume. When I mentioned to the employee that I couldn't hear her over it, she literally agreed and said she couldn't hear me either--and then just stood there without making any attempt to turn it down. Lastly, while the shaded outdoor seating is nice, there isn't a single trash can provided outside.
