I spent the weekend at Pechanga to see JoKoy and Al chose to dine at the Pechanga Cafe 3x. First off, the service was great the entire weekend. Every server and supervisor working was friendly and tentative to us. The ambiance is casual and they offer table and booth dining. The seating is comfy and spacious so you don't get the feeling you're on top of your neighbor. Even after the comedy show when it was packed you still had room to move and breath. Over this week I had the chicken pesto sandwich, chicken noodle soup, Pechanga burger, and the Pechanga breakfast. I really enjoyed everything but the chicken pesto sandwich. The sandwich lacked flavor even with the creamy best. It ahead a washed out watery flavor and the waitress was kind enough to remove it from the bill without me even requesting it. The chicken noodle soup truly tastes homemade with real slow cooked chicken in a rich and bold broth. It's packed with soft flavored veggies. I only wish it had a bit more egg noodles. The Pechanga burger was cooked to a perfect medium as requested. It comes with lettuce, cheese, tomato, onion, and a fried egg (cooked a perfect over medium). Sadly it doesn't include pickles and they charge you $1 when you request them. Also, just a suggestion, I think their fries are best extra crispy. When I forget to ask for them crispy they almost have an underdone taste. That's just an opinion. The Pechanga breakfast was fulfilling and you could share it with a second person. It comes with two eggs, toast of choice, bacon sausage or bacon, and choice of hash browns or Pechanga potatoes. I highly recommend the Pechanga potatoes(seasoned home fries). I chose ham and it's a small steak like piece of ham that's not too salty or sweet. It was grilled perfect. If you want a place that's reasonably priced and stays open 24hrs when staying here consider the cafe. read more

We stopped by here for a late night breakfast for dinner before driving home. This is the only 24-7 restaurant at Pechanga and is located near the main lobby and check in. It is a nice clean and open area. We ordered off the late night menu which is a mix of breakfast, lunch, and dinner options. I had the steak and eggs and my wife had the lobster omelette. Food was very tasty and not too salty. Pricing is not bad (cheap if you compare it to Vegas. Service at this restaurant was great and they were very attentive. My coffee cup never went dry. Whenever we are here (at least 10x a month), I always get the lobster omelette (my fav, lobster in every bite), lobster flatbread (delicious!) tuna melt (my sons fav), or prime rib panini. I've had the club sandwich, chicken wings, fish n chips, and smoked salmon.. none have disappointed. The portions are big, it usually feeds me more than once. What stands out about this place besides the lobster everything, is the service! We come here so often we picked a favorite server to look for whenever we are here... we even asked him when he's off so we know he's not there lol (Hi Victoriano!).. he's attentive, patient, and just overall wonderful. We ordered the lobster omelette with side choices and I selected the roasted potatoes and sourdough bread. My husband ordered the steak and eggs with the same sides as me. We both enjoyed our order and it was very tasty. Portions are generous and I had to take half of my order home. The service is excellent. Jamaica was our server. She was pleasant and checked on us to make sure that we were ok and not needing anything else. The atmosphere is definitely a cafe vibe; they also have a take out area to place your order near the hostess/bakery are. *just a quick update... The service here has diminished a bit - maybe not with all servers, but unfortunately we had a server that you just got the feeling that they were just going through the motions because they had to. I wanted to mention that they have a huge cinnamon roll on their menu that is consistently NOT good. When we were there last, our friends ordered it, and when it was delivered to our table, you definitely get the WOW reaction. But we had noticed a strange smell. When we tasted it, it tasted like a stinky cheese. We mentioned it to our server, who said he also could smell the funky scent. He brought a new on back, which didn't have the funk smell, and he removed it from our tab. No explanation of what happened, but our guess is that someone in the kitchen got the Parmesan butter which might be used for cooking or bread, confused with the cream cheese frosting. And after all that, the cinnamon roll was just meh, at best. Fast forward to yesterday, our kids had stayed at Pechanga, and brought us back a cinnamon roll. It was still just meh at best!! The frosting is not sweet - kinda just butter like, and the cinnamon roll is dry and not too flavorful. So the morale of my story -- skip the cinnamon roll. It's a waste of money, because you'll end us throwing most of it away, and not worth the calories! read more

I ordered the Pechanga Burger, and it was well cooked, the egg was just over cooked, if you enjoy your egg a bit runny, make sure you ask for it sunny side. We had a great experience at Pechanga Cafe. My wife and I started with the bacon wrapped dates stuffed with Boursin cheese. I usually do not like dates, but these changed my mind. The flavor was rich and savory, and everything worked well together. We also shared the café salad with salmon. The mix of apples, candied pecans, grapes, and feta with the strawberry vinaigrette worked well together. The salmon stood out. It was soft, tender, and melted in our mouth. I ordered the hot Italian sandwich based on our waiter's recommendation. The meats paired well and gave the sandwich a lot of flavor without feeling overwhelming. The fries were crispy and cooked right. My wife ordered the filet mignon with mashed potatoes. Both were done well and tasted great. She has a gluten allergy, and the staff handled it without any issues by serving the whiskey sauce on the side. We finished with the cinnamon roll. This stood out the most. It had a savory balance, and the whipped cream, sauce, and candied nuts brought everything together in a way I have not had before. She takes such awesome care of us; consistently providing exceptional customer service. We were seated right away in a comfortable booth. This restaurant is always clean and well lit. My husband ordered the tuna sandwich on wheat along with chicken noodle soup. I wasn't very hungry so I opted for their dinner salad with French onion soup. This little cafe is open 24/7. We had a late lunch on a weekday. The servers were very friendly. We had great coffee first. And I ordered the steak fries. They were very yummy. Which restaurant in California has the worst Public Relations? Which restaurant has the reputation for being the greediest? Pechanga Café Let me explain. We and many of our friends have been going to Pechanga more than thirty years. We have been to all the restaurants there. We actually enjoy some of the meals there and appreciate most of the waiters and waitresses. BUT, here's the problem that we all are amazed at: Pechanga Café, being one of the busiest restaurants around with consistent long lines, still makes the WORST public relations blunder by being extremely greedy. Ask for a cup of warm water = $3.00. Ask for lemons = they charge you for it. Ask for one packet of honey = $0.75. Even the servers there get embarrassed when people ask for any of those cheap items which are free in most restaurants and Pechanga Cafe is supposed to be successful. We were recently at the Barona Casino resort. Ask for honey, they bring you a whole bottle. Ask for lemon they bring you a whole sliced lemon. Ask for hot water and they bring you a pitcher of hot water. THATS GREAT PUBLIC RELATIONS. All of our friends would choose another restaurant at Pechanga for breakfast if there was another choice. You should ask who in management there has made such a bad PR decision. Hope they can get their reputation back someday. We are sharing this because we want it to be a truly customer friendly restaurant and the management shouldn't worry about the cost of those small items that add a level of caring about making customers happy. read more

I have been coming to Pechanga Resort and Casino for years, and the Pechanga Café has always been my family's go-to spot for a quick breakfast fix. The restaurant is conveniently located next to the bell desk and casino tower. We visited around 12 PM, and they were already serving the lunch and dinner menu. Fortunately, a few breakfast classics were still available. My parents ordered the breakfast platter while I went with the club sandwich, which I highly recommend on sourdough. For only $17, the portion was humongous and incredibly satisfying. The food was excellent overall. The only downside was the service, which could definitely be improved. It took a few tries to flag down a server for napkins and creamer, but it was nothing too frustrating. One highlight is the kids menu. The pancake plate is only $10 and comes with fresh strawberries, making it a great option for families. Always a reliable and tasty stop when visiting Pechanga.
