My wife and I stopped in here for lunch on a whim. We don't know much about Peruvian food. Ok, we…read moredon't know anything. But this is a really nice place. The waitstaff was extremely polite. And fast. And the one entree that she and I shared was delicious. The stir-fried chicken is great. A combination of rice, chicken, plantains, some sort of noodles (maybe based on egg??), and I have no idea what spices and seasoning. But it was wonderful. When we're in the area we'll surely stop back in.

We have been there several times and the service is one of the worst. I feel the service is bad because they include 18% gratuity to the bill so the server do not have to give good service because they are guarantee 18% gratuity. I don't feel the restaurants should be including gratuity unless it's a big party and even with that the restaurant has to ensure they give good service for the guarantee gratuity. We ask for our bill 3 times over the 20 minutes. I also think the servers should always asked if bills need to be separated up front.

Welp! I was a little disappointed in the food. However, the service was impeccable. I ordered to go…read moreso I was greeted by the hostess. She was very friendly. It was awesome because my food was ready as soon as I arrived. The food was less than desirable for me. I or few red the 1/4 Peruvian chicken with rice and plantains. The chicken was a little tough however, it was seasoned well. The rice was delicious and cooked to perfection. I did not enjoy the plantains as they were not soft. They possibly weren't ripe enough. I wish I would've enjoyed the food bcs it's in a prime location and I can walk there from my residence. The ambiance was great. Music was playing in the background. The establishment was very clean. Overall, I had a decent experience. I would return and possibly try a different dish.

Wow! Despite the name, at least 1/3 of the menu was perfect for someone who is a pescatarian. The…read moremixed seafood dishes--or just shrimp, fish, squid alone--were copious and varied, saucy, fried, or even on ceviche form. The seafood was fresh and tender, and the onions that came with practically everything was an especially good complement to the fried dishes. Our party of 7, including 2 very hungry adolescents, were fully fed at a very fair price even after tip. The trio or duo options were perfect for us to be able to try a greater variety of dishes without committing to a large portion of one thing. The tacu tacu was a nice surprise that I had never tasted before. The crispy rice and bean cake soaked up the delicious sauce perfectly while maintaining its crispiness on the edges. Well done! We are looking forward to the next time we can come back and try more of the dishes. The service was prompt and attentive, the interiors clean and inviting. I can't wait to go back!

I've only done takeout from the Nibbler, but it is just a small place in a strip mall next to the Dunkin Donuts and Papa John's. It doesn't have frills or look fancy inside, but that's not what you're here for. You're here for good af Peruvian food and that's what you'll get. My husband and I still prefer the Nibbler over other fancier Peruvian places simply because their food tastes like home cooking, not food that just came out of the kitchen of a restaurant and you can't beat that. It's always consistent, always quick, and the staff are very friendly and willing to answer any questions you have.

We started with the beef and chicken empanadas and tamale. Flavor was good, but I wish the empanadas were crispier. The tamale was okay, the filling was lacking and it was a little difficult to pinpoint any kind of flavor. My husband's steak was inconsistent in the cook and the French fries lacked salt. The bite of steak I had was delicious and the fries were salty enough for my husband. The ropa vieja was delicious, but again, could use more seasoning. The meat was tender but crispy on the outside and paired with black beans, rice, and plantains, it was a tasty combination both flavor-wise and texture-wise. We would come back to expand our exposure to Peruvian food.
