Great pizza and friendly service. Best pizza in the tri-villages! Give them a try, you won't be sorry.

Don't go anywhere else for your pizza in the area. Seriously, you want pizza, you're in Nags Head,…read moreyou have to order from only here. It is delicious. We ordered well ahead of time online, that way it would be ready for pick up as we passed by. After ordering, you will get an estimated time of when it will be ready. We were given a time and then made a stop before coming here. However, they are quicker than the estimated time. Which is a great thing, less waiting when you pull up, but not good if you get stuck elsewhere beforehand. Pulled in, right up to the window, let them know I had an order. Within seconds, my order was in my hands. The hardest part about this was the enticing smell in your vehicle back to your house. Totally takes over and your stomach starts grumbling. When we got back, we immediately opened up those boxes so the aroma filtered through the house. Each pizza was amazing. The garlic bread was amazing. The right amount of garlic that doesn't overpower. Then the pizza itself blows you away. Perfect crust, perfect amount of sauce, perfect amount of toppings. Made you go back for a slice over and over again. Then it doesn't hurt that there are personal touches to each box with a message. Each box has a message when you open. A nice touch from such an amazing place to grab a slice.

So many options here. Both of the pizzas we had were so good. It's take out only but totally worth…read moreit! everything is fresh and fast!

Let's start with the positives:…read more Love that it's in Manteo and the place has a nice vibe to it. Would've like to try the Weeping Radish Beers but kids were with me so I passed. The Pretzel was good, no doubt about that. All of the breads were very fresh. Unfortunately, everything got worse after the appetizer pretzel at our table. The hot honey on the New Yorker Down South functioned more like a sticky grease. But if not for the honey, I don't think I would've tasted anything at all. The service wasn't good either. Our waitress appeared to be getting frustrated just by those at our table asking questions. The only time she lit up was when she bragged about the two smash burger ideas she came up with that made the menu. She wasn't terrible, but maybe I'm just being nice considering I felt us being there was an inconvenience to her. When someone at our table asked to add lettuce and tomato to their burger, she replied that this isn't a build your own burger place and that she works at the Lost Colony where you can do that...but not here. It was odd. My family has gluten allergies which sucks...but when we asked if any desserts were gluten free she said the tart was the only one she was aware of. It might have been, but saying "aware of" led me to believe there could possibly be others but she didn't know and wasn't asking. Ok, I convinced myself, the service was bad. In fact, the place was practically empty and they stuck all 7 of us in a booth. My daughter who is extremely gluten sensitive has to cut off a piece of her pizza because the waitress bumped it against mine when she put it on the table. In her defense, we had no room for it. When the waitress brought back my youngest daughters Smash Burger (because they didn't put cheese or mayo on it) she could only fit half the plate on the table. So my 8 year old ate off a plate with half the plate dangling off the side...bizarre. I'm giving 2 stars because I believe the meal could've been better. Living in a family with gluten allergies and having none...I get how it can be frustrating (apologies to those gluten free...I get that it's way more frustrating for you). I'd probably stick with a pretzel, order a standard smash burger & do the beer sampler. If you're driving over 15 minutes to get here, probably safest to try somewhere else.

This place is doing it right, but has some odd quirks. Let's talk about the right part first…read more Subs are legit. Be it a proper Italian style one, or a great Philly Steak with CHEESE WIZ. I am positive anything on their sub menu would be quite tasty. They are fairly priced, and ready quickly. But, the quirks. They have prepared trays in the cooler of things like lasagna or eggplant parmigiana ready to take home and eat. You can even get a quart of gravy and a box of pasta. Unfortunately this is sort of mentioned in passing on the web site, with no details. In reality its a subset of the "catering" menu. We had to show up to understand the offering. They were also large, designed to feed a group. They really need to hi light this option on the web site better, with some pricing and pictures. I think it would be much more popular. Drink selection is small from a cooler of bottles. If they really want to push the sub business a fountain is probably a requirement. And finally. No meatball sub? That's almost criminal! However, what we did have was so good it's still a 5-star place.
