I love their food but it's so upsetting that we had horrible service when we went. The waitress didn't come check on us once and had to get my own refills for my table .. i hunted down our waitress for our bill and mention that she didn't come check on us once.. the first thing she said was that she wasn't expecting us to give her a tip anyway.. are you kidding me?! I went here because I heard so many rave reviews about this place. My coworker swears they have the best pizza in Lansdale. Well let's just say being from Philly I was highly disappointed. The pizza looked so good I immediately dug in when I got it home. First bite was disgusting. The sauce is sweet and the dough is too tough. I'm so upset that I spent $30 on two large cheese pizzas. My husband and I are here last weekend. We were seated and our order was taken by the waitress, but that's the last time we saw her. Somebody else delivered our food and drinks. We had to ask for refills and extras for the pizza. Never saw the waitress again, and we were there on the patio for about an hour. Finally my husband got up to get a box for our leftover pizza and to pay the check. He only left a $2 tip because the service was so poor. On the way out he needed to visit the restroom so I was just standing there messing around on my phone. The waitress came up to me, rather aggressively, pointing at the bill and said "was there something wrong with the service you received??" I answered her question directly and her response was "I've been very busy you should have come and found me!" Then she said "next time come and find me!" I said "we are here on vacation and there won't be a next time" and she stormed off. The food was ok. Service was terrible with a side order of aggressive confrontation. No thanks. read more

I gave this place 5 stars for one reason. THE PIZZA. It's the best pizza I've ever had, hands down. Ever kind with every topping. Fresh toppings at that. You'd be a fool to pass this place on the way to another pizza place, and I say that just because it's a small, local haven. I like it that way. The meals are good too, chicken Parmesan is one I sometimes get. It's fried but I know what I'm getting when I go here, and for that, Im well satisfied. Cheese steaks, hoagies, GRINDERS, and mediterranean foods...all good as well. Not worth going into detail though. The staff are friendly. Know a lot of their customers personally. Really good food and the service is pretty fast. Everyone that works there is friendly (minus the girl that is full of herself and stinks like that perfume that hippies always wear) and I've never had a bad experience there. This used to be the best pizza in the area, not anymore. After not grabbing a pie from Palermo's in over 5 years, I was passing by and decided to take one home. In the past, the sauce was the finest, the cheese most delicious, the crust thin and flavorful. But not this time, it was average at best in all categories. No brick oven pizza on the weeknights, no parking on the weekend. Who runs this place???

We used to see this place as the only place to get pizza in the Blue Bell area until we had a bad experience on Wednesday. We went in with our two kids (ages 2 and 3) and the grandparents to celebrate our three year olds first holiday show. We arrived at 11:30 when it was still not busy but as it got more crowded we were asked whether we could keep the kids quiet as other customers were arriving. Its not like we weren't trying to keep our kids quiet but they are ages 2 and 3! Our 2 year old has a loud voice but the kids were by no means out of control. We felt very unwelcome and won't be supporting this business again unfortunately. We have never been treated that way in any restaurant due to having small children with us. read more

We tried to correct our bill and although they did make an adjustment the owner came to our table and admitted that the waitress was new and not trained properly. I actually have an obsession with this place. I love it and have been going for years. I have to say I have never sat down at dinner but always go for lunch and take out. The salads are better then any other place you could ever try. Super fresh. All the topping are fresh made there like the marinated portabella mushrooms and roasted red peppers. They even cut everything into bite size pieces for you. I love that. The salad dressings are home made. The pizza is better then I have had Anywhere in the area. The paninis are huge!! And so so good. Falafels are bangin. You really can't go wrong here. Also food always come ou quick which is good because usually onY lunch break or picking up dinner to bring home. Great prices for great great food. And each time you order you get A pizza magnet. Collect 10 to make a whole little pizza and you get a free small pizza! read more

We've gone here countless of times. The pizzas are great! A real great alternative if you're not into pizza is their cheesesteaks. Is not like anything offered by any other pizza place not to mention restaurant in general. My family and I have been getting palermo's for as long as I can remember. They use to be around the corner on skippack pike but have since moved to dekalb pike where they now have a larger sit down area and bar. We usually order take out on a weekend night and every time the place is packed. There is a small amount of parking in the front and some in the back. As for the food, the pizza is top notch. My favorite combination of toppings is onions, bacon and spinach - delicious! I also recommend the Italian Stromboli and steak calzone. The staff is very nice and you never have a long wait for your food. My order is always ready when they say it is. Best pizza in the area, and I wouldn't go anywhere else! read more

NOTE: This location has moved about 1/4 mile away to Rt 202. We went to check out the new location (in the old Trinacria) on Rt 202. I think it's been open since the holiday time. They still have a lot of kinks to work out. Very disorganized with trying to manage a restaurant full of people and all their pick up orders. Food: We had the "palermo" pizza which is mozz and ricotta. It was very tasty. Also had caesar salad and israeli salads and hummus platter. All were good portions and food quality was good. Atmosphere: Very noisy. There are two rooms. The room in the back (which you practically have to walk through the kitchen to get to) was wood floor/glass windows/high ceiling and very echo-ey. We moved to a booth in the front which the layout was more condusive to less noise. Unfortunately a large party of multiple families came in and were making enough noise for a circus. The adults spoke very loudly and all the children were yelling at once. Service: This place isn't sure what it is - restaurant - take out - bar (there is a bar and looks like they are applying for a license). Nobody seats you. When a server finally comes to bring you menus they tell you to get your drinks yourself at the soda fountain. When they take your order they put a number on your table and if you are lucky another kid will deliver your food. The food came out in normal time, but it was disappointing to not be "served". What did I leave a tip for? Some of the staff members were a bit abrupt - but then some of the other kids were fairly friendly. Overall: The food was good so I'll go back again, but sit in the front room away from large parties if possible. And hopefully they work out the kinks. If they designate sections for waitstaff and start to seat people things would be much more organized. I guess they are just used to running a take out pizza stop - not a full service restauraunt. read more

Palermos was once my favorite pizza shop; behind Maple Glen's Pizza, but not anymore. They're starting to use cheap quality cheese thus resulting in a too oily pizza. The crust isn't the same either. Sometimes my pizza crust is burnt! Their pizza is now too salty and they just don't have that kick of flavor anymore! I'm so disappointed! read more

One day I wanted to order from Palermo's Pizza and I asked them if they do delivery.The only time if you want delivery is when you order food over $100.00. So I asked them what is your delivery radius and they told me in Blue Bell. Then one person said that they don't do delivery at all. When I called again i had gotten another person telling me that they delivery food over $100.00. Best stromboli in the area. The crust type is crispy yet moist on the inside with parmesan cheese and oregano sprinkled on top. The cheese steak meat is gently sauteed and then mixed with cheese, onions, and sauce (on the side if you like ). It is then generously stuffed into the crust and ready in 20 minutes! Came here for lunch this past week and it was delicious. I got a slice of plain pizza and the Yoram salad. The pizza has a perfect thin crust and the Yoram salad had plenty of toppings mixed in and the dressing was tasteful. The restaurant was clean and the staff was friendly. Palermo's is by far the best pizzeria in the area. The owners and workers are so friendly. They have a brick oven that they turn on during the weekends (in addition to the normal ovens)- SO good!!! Always a great meal no matter what we order. The new bar is fantastic with a very good selection. As a person with a Gluten Free diet, which is such a pain when going out they have more than enough for me. The food is anything but impressive. I have lived within 5 minutes of the restaurant for the past 15 years. I tried it when I first moved to the area, because I heard good things. We were all less than impressed. There is much better pizza in the area. I just tried there again and had a chicken parm hero. I stopped eating it because it was that bad. I was hungry and filled up on snacks. I have never been into the shop, so I can't comment on that. read more
