Love this place. Everything is great! The people are always so kind and the service is quick. Surprised that more people aren't here. We've come several times and it hasn't been busy- but the food is great every single time. If you like a veggie burger- they make a great one. The place is clean and spacious. Everything was really good. Started with clam chowder, which suspect isn't homemade but was still good. Then, the Frenched pork chop was seasoned and cooked perfectly. The only thing that could have made it better was to pound them. I was pleasantly surprised by how fresh the sweet tea was. The service was really good too. read more

As guests staying at the Wyndham Warsaw, we wanted to have a nice dinner without having to leave the premises so we visited Palette on the ground floor of the hotel. The Palette is a fairly new American-style dining establishment and is worth the visit. At first glance of the menu, Palette is affordably priced and their offerings are generously portioned. Our server was courteous and outlined the specials. She timed our meals perfectly and she was always present without being intrusive. We had a relaxing dinner and took our time through the courses, never having to feel rushed to finish our dinner. The general manager was constantly visible. During dinner, their manager checked in at every table to make sure everyone was doing okay. Palette's natural perception to be attuned to customers is not something every restaurant excels at; although over here, they make it a priority. The appetizer and salads were simple yet fresh. The made-in-house bread was delivered warm and felt soft. The bread was accompanied with whipped honey butter spread and the second my buttered knife touched the bread, the butter instantly melted away. One bite and I was in heaven. My husband decided to order the Chicken Cordon Bleu (yes, that Chicken Cordeon Bleu.) Typically regarded as a has-been, banquet staple he made a daring choice. The dish turned out to be the star of the evening. With a crispy crust and a perfect balance of ham, cheese, and sauce within, it checked all of the boxes he was looking for: hot, savory, and delicious. My Prime rib was tender and robust with flavor. The Prime rib paired perfectly with the horseradish and au jus. My only regret was that I should've ordered the larger portion! The pricing is moderate for the area with most dinner entrees priced between $12-28. If you're planning a special event, there is a small private dining space which can easily accommodate 15-20 guests. If you are a hotel guest, a full breakfast buffet at the Palette is only $5 per person (excluding gratuity). The spread is pretty decent (see my pictures below) and is offered from 6:30-10am. Called a couple days ago to verify hours and policies, due to Covid. One young man had his game together. Our server was way to new to not still be shadowing. Sat at the bar before, the service was good. We order the same thing every time. Haven't been here since Covid hit full on. The food was so beyond bad compared to before. Dining at Palette before a performance at Wagon Wheel Center next door has been a tradition for years. But the restaurant isn't the same as it was in the beginning. Sadly, it has declined greatly in service, menu items, and quality of food. I ordered the Cobb salad with grilled chicken. The chicken was not grilled, but boiled. And it was not seasoned at all. It was definitely not one grilled chicken breast that was cut up, as one would expect on a Cobb salad, but random sized strips of unseasoned boiled chicken. Overall, the salad was very bland and unappealing. I couldn't eat much of it. My dining companion ordered the spaghetti and meatballs. She was told it doesn't come with meatballs, though the menu said "Spaghetti and Meatballs". Our server said the meatballs are $3 extra. (She later stated she made a mistake and it does come with meatballs.) The sauce was a watery and definitely NOT HOMEMADE. It clearly was canned sauce as it had a slight metallic taste. She said the meatballs were not very good either. Sad to say, we will not be returning to Palette for our pre-show dining. I expect we will give it one more chance next year because of the convenience, but we're too disappointed to go back anytime soon. read more

We visited this restaurant in between lunch and dinner hours. Although the restaurant was closed until dinner hours we were seated in the cozy lounge next to the restaurant. The wait staff was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful when we were choosing what to order. My friend and I each got a chicken wrap, she got steak fries and I had the chicken tortilla soup. Very poor restaurant. Would not recommend. I have Celiacs and ordered a salad without croutons . Came with croutons. Sent it back. They just pulled them off and sent it back. Found some in it again. Talked to manager who was indifferent. Could not trust my gluten free pizza was gluten free. No refills on drinks till I asked and then warm iced tea with no ice. No price adjustments. Recently visited this restaurant as I was a guest at the attached hotel. I was excited at the opportunity to have dinner and drinks without having to drive any where. My other option was Buffalo Wild Wings a short walk down the street. I ordered a Long Island Ice Tea and the 20oz ribeye meal for dinner. The bartender was professional as I watched him measure out the drink ingredients and deliver the cocktail to me. I was a couple sips in while waiting for my food to arrive when the bartender approached me and said he would be unable to serve me anymore liquor. I only would be given beer going forward. Cut off after one drink? I should have cancelled my food order and left. I was planning to order a second Long Island during dinner and likely remain afterwards to watch football on the bar rail. C'mon, I am 50 yrs old. I was bothered that this happened. No plans to ever revisit. I'm not a foodie. Meal was average. Prices were fair. read more

We were in town for a graduation and got a late start on dinner. Called and asked if 8 people for an 8 pm reservation would be too late for them as we figured they would have a full house. They told us just to walk in as no reservation was needed. Upon arrival, the place was empty except for one table of three. The menu was large and offered many items: pasta, burgers, tacos, pizza as well as other offerings. The decor said that it was a former Mexican restaurant but now described itself as "An American Eatery". Two of our party ordered the salmon which they said was fine. One got the lobster mac n cheese which turned out to be very salty, fish and chips were soggy and an order of Chicago Dogs were made from a frozen chili sauce with chopped onions on top. A couple of beers were ordered with dinner and were luke warm. Our advice is to save your money and try something a little more established. This place is clearly going through an identity change and is not making a great impression. read more

My husband and I just ate here. The calamari appetizer was perfect! Light breading and fried to perfection served with a rich marina to dip it in. I got a build your own gluten-free pizza. It was delicious with a delectable thin pepperoni. Prices are very reasonable. Our server was Deontee and he was quite efficient, helpful in every way, not to mention very personable. First time trying the new Palette and it will be the last. Waiter was probably the only good part as he was very friendly. Food was over priced for the portions for mediocre food at that. Two of them ordered the Lobster Mac & Cheese and they said it tasted very good but lacked the lobster for 20.00. The carbonara was dry and had no sauce on it, asked for more and got charged for it. Food was way below average. The rice that came with my food was so overcooked it was more like a lump of goo. Out of the 9 people one person had an sub average meal. Service was slow even though we were basically the only people there, very hard to even get our water refilled. Our food choices were basic steaks, burgers and some pasta meals. I ordered one of the weekend specials which was shrimp tacos. Again it was prepared perfectly and was delicious. The servers acted like children when they were way from the table. They were loud and annoying and they were screaming at each other in attempt to "roll play" an meeting of a customer. Our waiter took ten minutes to come back from when we wanted some more time. Overall the service wasn't all that good. As for the food, it was adverage. The only thing that came out decent in our order was the monte cristo. The rest was either really greasy or close to burnt. The soup was barley warm and the garlic potatoes had to be sent back to be warmed up. Overall I wouldn't recommend this place at all. read more
