2 Peach Pies, one with blueberry

Pies were perfect! Cookies were delicious! Service was amazing! Outdoor seating area was a lovely place to be! If I didn't live 5hrs away I'd eat here every single day!

Love this menu on the wall.

If you are in Palisade, you have something peachy; after all, this is a peach lovers' paradise! After visiting Anita's other store, I came to this place to have a slice of pie before Id head out to my winery hunting. And yup, I did get me a peach pie. What else, right? I was shocked to find out that this pie shop only has 3.5 stars on Yelp. To me, it's got all the elements to have at least 4-star review. It's got a nice/cute/quaint ambiance inside, great selections of cookies/pastries/pies (a slice of my peach pie was only $4.5) and their quality ingredients and great outdoor seating areas to name a few. And it's surrounded by peach orchard after another. The two ladies there were very accommodating and courteous. I guess this store simply needs more visits by Yelpers from big cities like Denver. Well, I, at least, contributed to add to their underrated reputation today. This store is a gem!

Awesome peach strawberry pie. You got to try it!

Wonderful people, wonderful service, so friendly and helpful. We're from out of state and found this awesome place using an app we have for camping. Really. They are out of town a bit, but not far and so very worth the very short drive. AND then there are their awesome pies. OMG! They are wonderful! We had a peach/ strawberry pie. I know it sounds weird, but it's to die for. So if you're coming down I-70 or US 6, take the time to pull off the highway for a bit and do yourself a wonderful favor. Get a pie from Palisades Pies in Palisades, Co. Oh! They even have the small individual pies and they have ICE CREAM.

Ummm Yum!! This place was such a gem and so fresh. I mean the fruits are literally growing right next door. Not to mention it has a great view. Def stop and have a slice!

We were driving from Los Angeles to Denver and decided we had to have a peach pie. I know Palisade is famous for peaches so we scoped out a place. It's a quaint charming little house and as soon as you walk it, the incredible aroma of freshly baked fruit pies welcomed us inside. A delightful lady emerged from the kitchen and greeted us warmly. We got 2 slices of peach pie, one ala mode and coffee. It was love at first bite!! I've never tasted anything so buttery, fresh and delicious. And to add to the charm it's served on actual China plates with a real fork. Not paper plates with plastic utensils. We ate peacefully in the patio outside, gazing at the surrounding peach tree orchard. The lady came out once to check with us to make sure everything was great, and it was! We purchased some jars of preserves to take home as gifts too. It couldn't have been a more pleasant experience. We'll definitely recommend Anita's Palisade Pies to our friends who are driving through

My favorite was the breakfast hand pie -- sausage, hash browns, eggs, cheese, and green chilis.

So much for knowing who you work for and what they stand for. I feel the upgrade has a nice concept yet it is lacking customer serivce and more staff. I could tell the staff was overworked with the amount of traffic flow. We came when there was a power outage. For the luck of grace it came back on shortly after we checked out. We also order ice cream in the way out and a milk shake. 1st we got a peanut chocolate milk shake that looked more like chocolate milk. Then they got the order wrong it had milk instead of almond milk. Asked for a refund and she said she redo it. I asked kindly to make it more thick. It did not come out anymore thick. She added too much liquid. Looked like the new hire wasn't properly trained in ratio content. Then they forgot to get our bear claw ice cream. We saw a tall lad that was not working and just overseeing the other staff struggle. So sad. As far as the young lady giving out peaches outside in the stand. She looked more like she was ready for the gym than being at work. I can tell you it was offensive to see her in tight leggings. I sure wife's don't appreciate their husbands have free eye candy at a moments turn. We will not be stopping here again. So sad because I would talk about the old little stand from back in the day to everyone and how wonderful it was to go after driving from Denver on the 70. It was a nice treat. Not anymore.

However this last time was a tad disappointed. We arrived about 8:35 in the drive through which was packed. No big deal and we were willing to wait. 8:55 still in line one of the workers walks out the back and I hear her say something similar to "what the f**, we close in 3 minutes and we have all these f** people". Wasn't too bothered by it as I get it I've worked in fast food before and it can be annoying when you get a rush right before close. Just thought she should be more professional. Finally we get upfront to order and find out from her they are only doing cups and cones because they "closed 12 minutes ago technically". They wouldn't even let us add any toppings on it. We still enjoyed some ice cream but definitely were disappointed being that we wanted other things and were there almost half an hour before closing. If you're gonna serve the rest of your customers on site before closing at least fully serve them. Also management I would recommend doing some simple coaching with these employees on professionality and such around closing. I get it I've been there myself but you still have to serve the people in your place to the best of your ability before it shuts down. That's just food business.

We sat down tonight for our anniversary dinner and the place was only at ~50% of capacity at 7 PM on a Friday for the 4th of July weekend. We tried to order an app before dinner while we decided on entrees and wine to go with it, we were told they could only put in an app order at the same time as a dinner order. Really? You really need to move tables that fast on a Friday when it's half full? We've been coming here for years, but the hurried service is now very off putting. When we finished dinner and left just over 1 hour later, the place was maybe 60% full. We spent nearly $300 on our anniversary dinner and were rushed the entire time. The food was phenomenal as always, but the hurried atmosphere takes the fun out of a nice relaxing dinner out. We've been told this is at the direction of the owners and I hope they read these reviews. Péche used to be a special place for an excellent dinner out to savor and celebrate, but now it seems to be a table turnover priority, but of course along with high quality food. That hasn't been sacrificed, like the experience has.

My guests loved the flavors. Today we decided to add more flavors to our pantry. The proprietresses were extremely helpful. It simply focuses on making one really, really well. That's exactly what I found at Munchies Burger. I ordered the Bacon Guacamole Burger and my son ordered Smoky Mountain Burger, and both delivered in different ways. The Bacon Guacamole Burger was fresh, creamy, and packed with generous slices of avocado that balanced the smoky bacon perfectly. The Smoky Mountain Burger leaned into bold flavors with smoky bacon, melted cheese, and a hearty, satisfying bite that made it feel like classic comfort food done right. The patties were juicy, the buns held together nicely, and every ingredient tasted fresh. The sides deserve just as much credit. We tried both the classic crunchy fries and the sweet potato fries, and honestly, there wasn't a wrong choice. The regular fries had that crisp exterior with a fluffy center, exactly how great fries should be. The sweet potato fries were slightly crisp on the outside, soft inside, and naturally sweet without being overly greasy. We kept reaching across the table stealing each other's fries, which is always a good sign. The restaurant has that relaxed, old-school burger shack atmosphere where the focus is clearly on the food rather than flashy décor. Service was friendly, our order came out quickly, and everything arrived hot and fresh. If you're in Grand Junction and craving a burger that tastes like it was made by people who genuinely care about getting the basics right, Munchies Burger deserves a visit. Between the Bacon Guacamole Burger, the Smoky Mountain Burger, and two excellent styles of fries, we'll definitely be back to work our way through the rest of the menu. This place easily earns a spot on my list of local favorites.
