This restaurant is definitely one of the best in the neighborhood. Excellent menu offering eclectic choice of cuisine combined with great ambiance and service. I would have given PBG 5 stars but I was very disappointed by the "true" Dover Sole prominently featured on their menu. Not "true" at all. Bread-crumbing and frying the Dover Sole was not what I expected, and not how this fish should be prepared. Having grown in in the UK, and being a Dover sole aficionado, I consider the PBG preparation of this excellent fish to have totally compromised the taste and texture of the fish. If you really enjoy a good Dover Sole don't order it here! Otherwise the restaurant is first class. read more

I've been coming here for years and Palm Beach Grill never disappoints, because no Hillstone restaurant ever does! Every time my parents come up from Miami we take them here because it's their favorite and we never have a bad meal. This past weekend, a server accidentally hit my husband in the head with a plate. She handled it like a pro, immediately telling the GM Neveen who came up to us very apologetically and asked if there was anything she could do. Neveen was hospitable and professional and proved again why this is my favorite restaurant. We tried the Focaccia, Tuna burger, Au Jus, and key lime pie. The coleslaw is oh so amazing. Tuna burger is very gingery with an explosion of juicy flavors. The Focaccia was just as it should be...warm, covered in rosemary and saturated in olive oil. The key lime pie is of course a must, and I make these myself. The ambiance was very relaxing, and it felt like I was in someone's home. The staff knows how to ensure their customers will have a nice evening. We felt overall very pleased with this birthday meal. Went here again last night for another perfect meal and overall experience. Reservation was at 8:30 and got sat right away. Had the Dinner Salad (split), Prime Rib, Salmon, and the Tres Leches for dessert. Everything was spectacular. Valet guys right on queue, no ticket, car pulled up as you're walking out. Celebrated Mother's Day on Friday here. Our waiter Andrew was extremely friendly, polite and attentive. The ambiance is nice, and it was very interesting to be able to see the kitchen in action. All the food we had was spectacular 10/10, especially the prime rib and crab cakes. For the quality of food, I think prices are very fair. I was pleasantly surprised how good this place was. Not going to lie, when looking at the pictures on Yelp and the prices of the food i was not excited coming here but wow did it blow me away just when we ordered a few appetizers, one being the fried oysters. Im not a fan of oysters but these were delicious! It came with a creamed spinach underneath and lemon aioli. Sooo soo good, as well as the smoked salmon. All the entress that were ordered were amazing too, i tried a piece of the salmon, and the steak was the perfect cut and soooooo juicy and delicious, the butter you they give you to pour over just gave it even more flavor , not that it needed it but it was extra delicious and the hand cut friend made the dish even better read more

Worst experience EVER! As a last minute decision we thought to give the PaLm BeAcH gRilL a try... what a mistake. Being last minute, I admit that my attire was below par. However they told us it was a 30 minute wait for a table so we waited by the door right in front of the hostess. After waiting for over 45 minutes, a woman came up to me, handed me a card labeled dress code and promptly asked me to leave despite waiting in plain view and after asking for a table. To make matters even more offensive, the moment we left, another patron left wearing nearly the identical outfit I was wearing after finishing his meal. Their mission statement? "We strive to bring everything pretentious rude and inconsiderate that the great Palm Beaches could offer at inconsiderably and unjustified high prices. the Hillstone group is at an all time low, all restaurants have been at a steady decline for years. extremely poor management and arbitrary rules that change and are enforced at random. Palm beach grill takes no exception to that. Also the only restaurant part of the group that covers the table in paper (WEIRD) where am I macaroni grill? Only good part is the food is okay, but it's consistently okay thats the only positive. I have absolutely no idea how the PBG specifically makes any money. I am so grateful his parents were able to get us a reservation on such short notice (reservations are typically booked months in advance). We ordered: -Heirloom Tomato Salad -Classic Whole-Leaf Caesar Salad -Seared Ahi tuna -Silver-Service Kosher Hot Dog -True Dover Sole -Cheeseburger -Hot Fudge Sundae Each dish we ordered was delicious. Standouts include the Seared Ahi Tuna (the favor combination in this dish was amazing), the Hot Dog (best hot dog I have ever eaten), and the Hot Fudge Sundae (the hot fudge is homemade!). I was a little torn tonight. The restaurant is very clean and appealing. The acoustics aren't great and even at 3/4 capacity it was difficult to hear people at your own table. I had the tuna tartare as an appetizer and it was delicious! Great presentation with a tuna tower and peacock fan of crackers. For my main course I had a wedge salad. This was the smallest wedge I had ever seen (posted a picture). It wasn't filling as wedges usually are for me. The drinks are cheaters as well. They give extra small portions for classic drink like margaritas. Otherwise, the kitchen is exposed, which I like as you can really see how clean everything is. Also the bathrooms are very clean which speaks volumes as this is often neglected in restaurant. Overall I left feeling hungry and disappointed. I've been here several times and every time it's something. I really want to come in here one day and give it 5*s. This place has the potential, but they need to get past their skimpiness. read more

Wonderful food, but even better service! Great team spirit by all staff! We waited by the bar for about 30 minutes as they were slammed, but the gracious hostess checked with us throughout to see if we needed anything, eventually moving us to a high top and offering a free appetizer. The servers are knowledgable and prompt. The snapper/shrimp and prime rib were excellent and the perfect temperature. The sundae was delicious and came with a side if warm chocolate sauce that we couldn't resist! The kitchen is open to the comfy dining room so you can see the great care used in preparing your food. The food was good but not exceptional for the price. I ordered the stuffed shrimp & it came out cool instead of hot. I also found the stuffing soggy. They took it back & reheated it. my friends ordered specials & they were very happy. We then ordered the pineapple upside down cake & it was not up to the standards of a true upside down cake. I mentioned it to the owner & he brought 1 cannoli out not even on a plate, he brought it out in his hands. He just dropped on my dish. This place sucks! We waited 30 minutes PAST our reservation time only to be told that we couldn't dine there because my husband had DRESS sandals on. Apparently their policy is you can't wear flip-flops--- which they were NOT! They were dress sandals! And in order to find this information you have to go into contacts in their website to figure that out. Their main page - which I looked at many times to review their menu - had NOTHING. to say about what their attire was. Why would I go to contacts?
