Very disappointed with the customer service and lack of communication from corporate. I tried to cancel my membership twice in March and was told both times that I was unable to due to Corporate billing issues. My account was charged for April because there is nothing the staff at the salon can help with. However, I have called corporate three times and still have not had anyone look into my account or this issue. Will not use this company or recommend to friends. read more

I would definitely recommend this salon to all of my friends and family. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful but Michelle helped and enlightened me on all there was to know about the equipment they had in the store and I explained to her on how I was looking for a good lotion as well. Absolutely love this PBT location, they have the cleanest salon that I've been to. They also have an amazing spray tan booth called the Mystic HD where they hand make a personalized color to match your skin tone. It's a smaller location so there is ALWAYS a wait for the spray tan, they only have one, but the staff is so friendly and helpful I still like come here if I have time to hang around for a while! The manager Michelle was so sweet and on top of things, even when dealing with an angry/frustrated customer with a waiting room full of people. She kept her calm and was very solution-oriented in her responses, even though there was nothing she herself could have done to fix what the customer was upset about. This place is a joke. The two girls working here are rude and clueless with zero customer service.

Never have I ever felt the need to complain, generally easy going, but this establishment is an all around joke they base their business on finding any way to weisel money out of you. Read the paper they ask you to sign throughly it's full of ridiculous ways to over charge you. let alone the staff is a bunch of clueless oc girls who need some people and problem solving skills applied to them. I recently visited Palm Beach Tan after many exhausted attempts of finding a good tanning salon. I didn't have many expectations as they had not been met previously. However the staff and setting was very professional yet personal. The lady at the front desk, Niki I believe, helped me tremendously! She helped me pick the right spray tan for my color (since I'm very white) and she made me feel very comfortable and at ease with choosing the correct tanning salon. Staff like this should be appreciated more. I definitely would recommend this to anyone in the Costa Mesa neighborhood!! read more

Love coming here! The beds are so great compared to the competition in the area. The girls that work here so helpful and they don't try to upsell you. They help you find a better shade of you. Perfect recommendations for lotions and bed times. I love spraying too, and they have two mystic tan booths as well, and they are all pros at recommending color combinations. This company is just a scam. Don't spend your money here. New customers get a free week of tanning but they won't offer you that so FYI. Their customer service is non-existent. I have called over three times with no response. I would do your research before spending your money here because they'll just make you overpay. I asked for BASIC sunbed tanning and they only told me about $100 unlimited month tanning service. Come to find out you can tan for $15 unlimited for a month! How does that make any sense? Of course they wouldn't tell me that I could tan for $15 a month unlimited because they just want to take your money. When I called the store to complain they offered me the free week of tanning after my month was up. I don't want free tans I don't even want to come in for the month I payed for. I want a refund. Went in yesterday for a membership, the girls working the front were extremely helpful as well as insightful about the different beds. They were well informed and extremely personable. I wanted to do 3 days of tanning for my wedding so bought a silver month package for $35 and a lotion for $25 because single tanning is $15 each. The girl that helped me mentioned that you would have to wait 23 hours in between your tans good times out perfectly with my work schedule and my hour long commute, when I went to go the second day I different girl informed me that it was 24 hours. I find this frustrating because I know that I everyone always values every minute of their day. I have to know that the girl at the front that helped me on the second day was not helpful nor friendly and I will never be buying a package here again. There are better tanning salons in the area that have a more friendly and helpful staff. read more
