Would never come back here again. My mom and I came and booked a 2hr massage, and let me tell you how it went. Roughly 20min within that 2hrs, the girl that worked on me scratched the left side of my head, and spent probably 10min scratching the other side of my head. She then spent the next 5min using my claw clip to comb out my hair after tangling it, and girl was not gentle at all. She put minimal effort into taking out the knots built up on my neck and back, and more effort in scratching my head. When trying to move my hand over across my body to stretch me out, she strained my left wrist, and at this point I was still willing to let it all slide and be optimistic about this massage, because what was I expecting for such cheap prices? Fast forward to the end of the massage, when my mom went to give a $25 tip to the workers that massaged us, they had the audacity to give my mom a disgusting look and went to go talk to her manager in Chinese. The manager ended up telling my mom that for 2hrs, she should be giving a $30 tip minimum. Like yoo.. $25 is generous considering the crappy massage I got, crazy. Come to find out while reading other reviews on here, apparently their rude demand for higher tips is normal for them. Again, don't come here expecting to be taken care of for their cheap prices. I wish I got the name of the girl that worked on me because I really don't recommend her at all. Final comment: The noise. I am truly disheartened, I returned back here less than a month after trying this place for the first time and it was a disappointment. We called Saturday morning and got a spot for 11am, for couple's massage in a private room. This time we were able to actually get a "private room" all the way in the back by the bathroom and where they go in and out to grab the water So we head to the back, and in the morning it's already so loud them going in and out of that door. Then two viet ladies were also talking/laughing really loudly at the end of their massage and nobody said anything! The first part of the massage was great. But then they moved onto feet and spent like a good 20 minutes doing feet... they spent more time on feet than the shoulders My feet were drenched in oil lol. Then they moved onto back where they just rolled their arms all across my back. The next day I was sore all over my back, arms and legs because of their method. The first time I went here, I had no issues at all! When it came time to pay, we only tipped $15 for the 90 minutes because for one, it was noisy in the back room, then the massage wasn't a good one. The most HORRIBLE customer service I have EVER received!!! Not sure if the receptionist is the manager or the owner but he is the reason for my 1 star review. Prices and services were great, ladies had very good hands, kind and respectful. The issue began the moment I called to make an appointment. Not a greeting, just an attitude right away asking how many people, what time, and hung up as I was asking my question. I was thrown off but brushed it off. I made the appointment for 4pm, I do live 2 hours away so I did arrive at 4:05 with unpredictable traffic and when I got there he had a very strong character and said "nope, it's too busy & I said 4pm" and pointed at the door. The pointing was extremely rude but I was understanding and willing to wait since I was a few minutes late. In the time I'm waiting, 3 customers are paying and he SNATCHED their cash out of their hands as they were paying. If that was me I would most definitely not let that happen and call him out. A couple women were requesting a woman for massage and he denied saying it's too busy and there's no time to come back another day. When men came in requesting a woman for a massage, they received their service right away. Weird? Absolutely. Fast forward to my service, I was satisfied and happy with the massage so I wanted to tip her an extra $20 cash I had and the rest on card. The second he sees my $20 he denies it and says it is not sufficient and he needs more. When has a tip EVER been required especially a minimum amount UNLESS it is food service. I was super frustrated, I snapped, and did not let him get away with his way because this is definitely not the first time he takes advantage. I have NEVER been DEMANDED a bigger tip unless I'm at a restaurant. I asked if it was a requirement or a personal choice and he said suggested as I thought. I felt terrible for the lady standing there hearing us argue because she did a great job and he was the problem. I don't doubt it he was demanding a bigger tip because those ladies are underpaid! I came here a couple of times and the massages suck. The only reason I kept coming back because is very cheap price. Today will be my last time coming here. I don't know why they have the massage pricing at 120 minutes combo for $50 but the guy at the front never gives it to you when you want it, not even the 90 minute like today that I asked for. I was regretting tipping him $20 for a crappy massage. The only good one there is Eric, he's young, probably in his mid 20's. Eric got skills and he's very professional. But I'm not sure if he's still there or not, I went there last November when I first had Eric. While I was laying on my back getting a massage, I heard the owner talking to a customer, I'm guessing the customer is a woman because he said " maybe I will massage you ". Was offered a room for me and my bf @ $60.00, we took it. Massage was good, people were talking at a moderate tone, not whispering. Towels do not smell very clean, when you are face down on the massage bed they do NOT wipe clean the face cradle tunnel, where everyone breathes thru. Gross! I took my dad here, and had a bad experience. I won't be here again. The receptionist ( not sure if she's the owner too) did not know much English. She just guessed what I meant. I requested 2 beds next to each other, so I could translate for my dad since he does not speak English and it's his very first time getting a massage. My dad's male massage therapist seemed nice, but he did not understand anything I told him. I had to make signs to show him what i meant, but he still did not get it all. My massage therapist was a lady who was so rude. She knew a little more English than the guy. But she was so rude from the first second she came. She got mad when the buckets of clothes were not placed where she wanted while no one told me where i should put it. And is it my job to know exactly where to put it ? I told her I needed to translate for my dad, she ignored me. During the session, I had to make sure my dad is ok. My dad is 70 years old. I looked around and saw other therapists stepping on people's backs. I told his male therapist: "do not step on my dad's back". He didn't understand. Also, my dad told me to tell him do not touch at one place on his body because he had pain at that area. I tried to tell his therapist, the guy didn't understand. And my lady got mad every time I lift my head up to look and made sure my dad was ok, and was not stepped on. During the whole session, she didn't even ask me anything like : "is it ok, do you want me to do it softer or harder ? " those questions I always get asked every time I get a massage. She was a little harsh with the massage, but I could take it, so I didn't say anything. She also put the towels on me as if she threw them on my body. You could feel it if someone really does care about their customers, cares about their jobs. She kept quiet most of the time and talked in Chinese with the other therapists with an annoying tone, sometimes laughing but not too loud. When I moved my hands , or lift my head just a little bit to look at my dad. She pulled my head back, pushed it down ... I felt like I was treated like a log of wood or something. No respect, no customer service .... then she said something in Chinese again. At the end, I paid. $25/hr. I didn't want to give her tip because of her attitude, but I gave her $10 anyway. The receptionist said : "NO, $15 tip minimum." Really ??? She did not deserve any tips. I don't mind paying more and tip more for good customer service. $25/ hr is affordable. But to be honest, they could charge more if their employees do a better job. Also, If you offer bad service and demand tips with a minimum amount, that sounds ridiculous. I WILL NOT COME BACK, NEVER. On top of that, the front desk (who I believe is the owner) demanded a minimum $15 tip per person. While the masseuse herself was very sweet, this tipping practice felt pushy and unprofessional. What you think will be a $25 massage ends up being $30 plus $10-15 more in "mandatory" tips. The massage itself was good, but the shady surprise fees and pushy tipping ruined the whole experience. This is a great little place and I've been going for years intermittently (4-5x a year) due to the distance. Their current price is $25/hr combination massage with a mandatory $10 tip. I usually just allocate $40 per massage there. For everyone complaining about the tip, what is wrong with you people? A massage in most places are about $60-80 minimum and aren't that much different unless you are doing Thai, Tuina, Swedish or something and they are going to start at $100 per massage not including tips... I've tried some of the other places around the area and they are all actually the same thing but always $5-$10 more and you still should tip the masseuse at least 20%... Anyways, I've always had different people and they are usually very good. But the person I got today was really good and even stepped on my back. I liked their hot stones, years ago it was much longer, but now it's just a couple minutes, which makes me a little sad. My fiancé was an athlete and had horrible trapezoid pain and she has never felt better after a massage. Neither masseuse was particularly great, I was hoping for a legit foot reflexology experience but this was just an hour of getting my feet lotioned up. Actually less than a hour, since they left our feet wrapped for the last 10min and went away. During the massage they kept talking to each other, assuming we couldn't understand what they were saying. The worst part was that after $25 payment the lady behind desk insisted that a min $10 tip was necessary. A $5 tip would have been generous for the experience that we had, but paying an extra $5 wasn't an issue as it's the last time we'll visit this establishment.
