Your typical Wisconsin supper club right in the Schofield! It's usually packed on Fridays and most week night so we decided to visit on Saturday for lunch to avoid the crowd and wait. Food - the star of the show is fish fry of course and it's so worth the wait. Fried to crispy perfection with all the mandatory sides! Hubby gives it 9/10. I ordered the seared tuna which was decent but lacks flavor. Tasted kind of bland. Ambient- warm, inviting with Wisconsin decor featuring local artwork. You feel instantly at ease like at your best friend's house. Service- it was a tad slow since the restaurant was mostly cleared out for lunch. Highly recommend this supper club if you love fish fry!

Great food, great service, and comfortable dining, And also great price. We will definitely be back to explore the menu.

I am in my mid-thirties and can't believe I grew up here and never even heard of The Palms. They have ample parking in their parking lot which was great. We went on a weekday and I was surprised how busy the bar area was. It was filled the whole time we were there during the dinner hour. We sat in a separate room. Our server was really helpful and detailed with any questions we had. I started out with a dirty martini which I felt was a need when visiting a Supper Club. We shared the Palm Nuts which are large tater tots loaded w/ bacon, cheddar cheese, and chives. This comes with a side of ancho ranch. These were delicious and I highly recommend. I knew I wanted to order off the Entree menu to have a side salad and a side of choice. I got the Ahi Tuna plate which is pan seared w/ a sesame crust. It was good but not amazing by any means. I still enjoyed it. It was topped with shredded carrots and a hoisin lemon bbq sauce. My choice of side was a baked potato. I really enjoy visiting The Palms and would definitely return.

Got there right before the Friday night dinner rush. First time eating here and the service, drinks, and food were all amazing! Would love to come back again soon!

We sat and waited for more than 40 minutes after our so called reservation. We were never asked if we wanted to sit upstairs or downstairs, but he was going to put us at a high top with two babies. That makes no sense at all! My neighbors were even there and asked for a downstairs table as they were elderly and couldn't get up the high stairs. They had to wait for almost an hour to get it. Unfortunately, we didn't even get to try the food, because the wait took so long. When I mentioned this to the manager, he literally yelled at us on our way out in front of everyone. What a wonderful memory of this place. He was a JERK. The place is adorable, but I would highly suggest to make sure you ask your customers if they want to sit upstairs or downstairs and their preferences before you decide to book a large group. Along with that, if you have people waiting for so long, at least offer them a water or something while they wait. I also heard from my Neighbors that their French toast was hard., the wait was long, and everything was overpriced for what you got. I would not suggest going here if you're looking to spend a half a day just waiting for just ok food.

The charcuterie board was an excellent choice for a light meal while the kids eat their dinner early. The lemon dessert was light and delicate with a good balance of sweet and tart from the berries. Good beer from the Saw Mill as usual. Love dim lighting which creates a causal and relaxing ambiance.

We got the shrimp skewers and citrus mussels with the curry sauce to die for! We kept slurping up the sauce after the bread was gone! The garlic mayo complemented the shrimp perfectly. We also ordered the forager pizza. With the crispy crust, sweet fennel sausage and the mushrooms - I am in pizza heaven! Hubby ordered a few summer beer and I had the pineapple cider. Both were light and refreshing. Our server provided great recommendations and checked on us frequently throughout our meal. Overall verdict - highly recommend it for causal dining, happy hour or a special meal. Way to support local farms and businesses. Love the outdoor seating which is great in the summer!

Being the former Basil restaurant space, the interior is more intimate, darkly lit and a sure romantic spot for date night. The waitress was prompt and helpful selecting drinks off of their menu, inclusive of wine, beer and craft cocktails. Everyone at our table ordered a different drink or glass of wine and there were no complaints. For appetizers I ordered a bruschetta, which was served on a very crispy slice of seasoned bread. What was interesting was that the tomato topping (which was perfectly seasoned with basil, garlic and other spices) was served in a bowl on the side to allow everyone to top to their taste preference. It was a nice touch. We also sampled the cheese curds, which held up well to our Wisconsin standards, and a soup which I can't remember the name of but got high marks. Now for the main course. I was not expecting to be mind blown, by my god. The namesake dish, the Osso Bucco, was absolutely phenomenal. The veal was literally falling off of the bone and was easily, effortlessly separated with a fork. I have rarely had meat this tender. On the other side of the bowl was a fantastic risotto and a perfectly seasoned stew of carrots and onions. I did not indulge in the bone marrow, but I have heard it is a delicacy. Altogether this dish was worth every penny, and I will absolutely be having it again. To finish off this fantastic meal we opted for the tiramisu, which was elegantly plated in a creative manner I have never before seen. I enjoyed the wonderful ending to this delicious meal, and when you visit this restaurant I'm sure you will too.
