Decent car wash. My vehicles have definitely taken a beating in the wash, but that's expected with any wash (scratches). They still advertise "hand towel dry" but they stopped that like 6 months ago, but didn't lower their prices for monthly washes. That's one of the reasons I went with them instead of competing car washes in the area. Their free vaccums are a nice perk, if they actually worked. I mentioned to owner and son they didn't work "thanks, we know". HORRIBLE PLACE!!! First time I ever go here and it'll be the last! They broke my mirror and the owner tells me I can't do anything about it! He said "Usually the drivers push in their mirrors." Um no usually the employee in the front does! I honestly hope everyone reads this and doesn't go because I would hate for them to have to spend $350 on their mirror to get fixed like I did! He had the audacity to tell me that my truck had a crack in the mirror like no it didn't I would have never gone through the car wash knowing the brushes could catch on the a crack or broken piece of my mirror! read more

This is my BRAND NEW car that I took through a car wash for the first time today, this location being it's first wash- stupid me didn't think to check the hood of my car after the wash but I noticed when I got home the paint is not just scratched (see other photo) but literally chipped off in two areas, so I checked the rest of my car and sure enough.... see photos. The business is closed now and I'm unable to speak to anyone about this. I was there at 11am on Saturday, February 2nd. If the owner reads these I am not in the market for leaving bad reviews, I would just like a call back because I was unable to leave a message. I absolutely know it was not there before I went through your car wash because like I said, this car is brand new off the lot and this is it's first wash. I just put wiper fluid in it yesterday and no scratches or chips! I was also in the store when another customer had their back windshield wiper cracked off going through the wash, that should have tipped me off. please respond with a time I can call back to speak to someone, this is an absolute ruined day. Most of my reviews are 5 stars. I really hate to leave a bad one but this is atrocious. This business billed my mother $14.99 a month for six months after she was dead, and when I, as executor of her estate, informed the business they billed her again this April. The owner, Frank, said he was keeping the money. I told him I'd just file a dispute with the bank and he said, "You'll lose." Says all you need to know about this business. Go to Fuller's. I've been here once and they're no better at washing cars, than refunding money. read more

For a recent college grad the price for he car wash is a little on the expensive side but they do a great job. The towel boys are also super friendly and try to make sure you get the best service. I think they do an awesome job. A lot better than fullers in my opinion. read more

The only way I would recommend this place is if you like getting your property messed up by a business and then having the owner victim shame you then you are in the right place. I took my car through their wash and part of the heavy cloth pieces got jammed through weatherstripping and roof rack. The employees tried taking it out but since it was so jammed they couldn't. They said wait till the owner Frank comes back next week and we'll cut some of the longer pieces off. Being reasonable I said sure. So I stop back up there, he tried to remove it but haha it's still jammed! Then his solution is to cut the remaining pieces off and keep it jammed in there. I said that is unacceptable, your car wash did this and it needs to be the same as when it went in. He then continued to blame me that my car was to blame and said that it could have tore the whole setup down!? I've been coming here a long time and had a wash plan so I can say that isn't the case but he continued to deflect blame and started being more irate so I canceled my plan with them and will tell everyone I know not to do business here ever or with people like this. So in short don't ever go to Palos Car wash because they don't care about your vehicle and all it takes is one time to get screwed over. read more

So much better than Fuller's!! I've been here dozens of times and just don't check in when I go. Yes it's a dollar more AND it cleans better. I usually get the $7 option which includes a power wash spray down and hand towel dry. Then tip the dryer $1. or 2 - It's well worth the $8 or 9 total and it's a business write off! ;-) Note: The $4 option doesn't have the pre-wash or hand dry, so your car will be clean and a bit wet, so bring your own chamois or towel, if you're really cheap, an old t-shirt! read more

I stopped in today, paid $14.00 for an inside/outside deluxe clean wash with interior. When the job was complete, the windows were streaked, the door jams still dirty, and the interior job was vacuumed/cleaned mediocre. I had to redo the windows myself when I returned home. It looked as if they were wiped down with a dirty rag. They actually looked worse than when I brought the car in. I emailed them & called to request a full refund. Refund was denied!! read more

I'm really disappointed in this place. I've gone here a handful of times but my most recent experience was really a letdown. The vacuums are not as powerful as they were before and it was barely picking anything up off my floors. After that I still decided to get a wash and again I was letdown. They no longer offer a $4 wash...cheapest option is $7 and that is without the towel dry...are you kidding me? I waved over the young man working to confirm that I hadn't made a mistake and that the $7 wash was the lowest option and he confirmed. He was very friendly and I appreciated his customer service. Regardless, I will not be returning. Crappy vacuums and expensive wash is a no go for me. I will be going to Fuller's car wash going forward, $3 for the same wash. The gentleman who commented below who works for the car wash is stating they "prep" the vehicle as in they spray it before it goes in the wash - also something Fuller's offers with their $3 wash. I see no difference in the wash result from the two washes so this does not justify the higher wash price. Just my opinion. read more

It may be the worst car wash I've gotten. The inside windows are spotty with a greasy film, the outside is still dirty with spots all over it. I have to do it all over myself. The attendants were rude. The worst part is that it cost $22.00. Never go there again. read more

I was real happy with this place for a few years. Even went so far as to do the monthly payment as I was really getting a great deal by washing car every other day. They just jacked up the monthly to 29.99 which still isn't bad if you use it often enough you get your money's worth. But the problem is being that you are on monthly they have all your information (or should at least in this day and age) they should not raise it $5 without notice. Every company I deal with like this (big or small) gives notice via email or text that says "hey we are raising our prices". This place apparently posted it in as you enter. That's all fine and good but since my car is in storage for the winter I have not been there in a month or more. Of course when I went in today to close the account I was given the snap answer "it's been posted for over a month". When I told her I had not been there in over a month she just said "there you are cancelled". Fair enough, I'll go to Fuller's or Tidal Wave. In this day and age of everything via text and/or email they lose my 30/month because they could not reach out to their customers. Oh well I am sure they will survive without me.
