I wish I could give more than 5 stars .. I needed an appointment for myself and my daughter and our regular nail salon was unable to fit us in before the weekend. I found Pamper on yelp and decided to give them a call. I expected their prices to be in the high range since it was an in home service. To my surprise, it was just about the same as I usually pay in the nail salon. Mel was extremely helpful over the phone. She explained how everything worked and I was eager to give it a try. I downloaded the app and made an appointment for myself and my daughter in less than 5 minutes! I received a confirmation with the name & photo of my tech and even a link to her instagram so I could check out her work! Victoria arrived at my home and instantly, I felt as if we had known each other forever. She did an immaculate job on my gel mani and pedi with beautiful Swarovski crystals. A HUGE plus, she took just as much time and attention to detail on my 11 year old daughter! I had Victoria as our amazing nail tech! I have twin girls who love to be pampered so as a birthday treat for me we all got manicures and I got a pedicure. Not sure why I ever went in to a salon. She had all clean tools and everything we needed for a perfect experience. The pedicure was nice and comfortable loved all the products she used they smelt and felt amazing. I have not so amazing nails so she really made them 100 times better. There was no wait time and I was able to multi task while we were getting our nails done. After my first review in April, Vivian, the owner of this business, immediately reached out to me and addressed my concerns and experience. She was very friendly and interested in my opinion, and suggested that I give her business another shot to deliver the "pamper"-ing experience. After having conversations with Vivian, I requested to book an appointment for a gel mani and the moji-toe pedi soak with another manicurist. She scheduled my appointment to accommodate the date and time, and told me she assigned one of her top manicurists for my treatment. I was very pleased with how Vivian handled this whole transaction. My manicurist was Kat and she was on time, but I was stuck in traffic and was about 7mins late. She was waited and tried reaching out to Vivian and didn't leave immediately. Admittedly this was my fault, I scheduled a 9:30pm appointment but got stuck in traffic but it was good to know that Kat was patient. Kat is a very bubbly and friendly girl, she is easy to approach and talk to. She has over 7 years of experience in the nail industry. You can tell she definitely knowledgeable in what she does. She started me with my soak and a sugar scrub, which was VERY pleasant. She was very gentle with the pumice on my heels, and the ingredients she was using smelled delightful. After my soak, she asked what I would like and I told her French tips. Kat trimmed and shaped my toenails then free handed my French tips. It was perfectly even and the perfect thickness. She was quick and had a very sturdy hand. Once the my toes were painted, she moved onto my gel mani. I picked a glittery red/magenta color. She painted from my cuticle to the tip of my nails. I have short nails and she made them look nice. I'm very glad that I gave pamper another shot, because this time around I felt very relaxed and pampered. On top of that, Vivian took some of my suggestions into consideration such as the tools. The LED lamp to cure the gel is bigger and faster than the one they first used on me during my first experienced. I would recommend this service and definitely recommend Kat. If you have any questions or concerns, do not hesitate to contact Vivian because she's a great listener! I will be scheduling another appointment when I'm around the San Jose area -please note that they are slowly expanding to east bay and San Francisco. Don't forget to check in if its your first time, you will receive a $15 off bonus. They are working on providing cheaper options for basic mani and pedi, but current prices are reasonable for delivering comfort, fresh mani and pedi, and their time and gas mileage is incorporated in the overall price. I am pretty inexperienced with manicures and I am used to my nails chipping within a day or two BUT I loved the massage and small talk AND most importantly it's been 10 days and my nails have hardly chipped. I got complimented just last night in fact! I was more comfortable with one esthetician coming to my house than having to go to a salon. The app was easy to navigate and very professional. Pamper is a great concept and after my first manicure, I can say it's also well executed. Oxana came to my apartment this evening and provided a great basic manicure for me. Ok first experience really was awesome, last four have been absolutely horrible. Every time I have booked I received a confirmation. Then right before the appointment time I get a text or call saying oops sorry can't make the appointment for one reason or another. After the first time, which was urgently needed because my wife had an important meeting the next day, we decided maybe was a fluke. Happened again and again and again. Rather than immediately saying sorry can't send someone out we make plans around having pamper show up. I talked to them and at least the girl was very apologetic and gave me a credit for future use. I HAVE NOW TRIED TO USE IT THREE TIMES UNSUCCESSFULLY!!!! Save the grief and just go to a brick and mortar salon, these guys need to figure it out and get efficient. They have now officially lost me as a customer after a third and fourth chance we are done! read more

The first time we used this service, it was great! The technicians were great, they accommodated our group size...it was wonderful. So of course, this was our new go to! My friend and I booked (separately, so that we could each pay for our own) for today at 6:30 at her house. I'm pretty easy going, and am fine with changes, etc....but today, after all the pieces have come together...I'm a little frustrated and feel I was treated unfairly. After reading the other reviews...I only see one other negative review, and the response from Pamper was to ban him from future services....I hope that isn't the case with me for reaching out, because the service is actually quite nice when it works out. They were having scheduling issues, so they called to reschedule my friend at 3:30...which works for her because she is home with her kids, not for me, because I am at work until 5. My friend called to explain the situation a bit more....that I have an appointment separately booked at the same location and time so we can do it together...initially they try to figure out if they can fit us both in since we have no add ons, but decide they'll just call me. A woman calls me to reschedule my appointment....for 8pm.....I tell her that won't work, because by then my friend will be putting her kids to sleep and I don't want the technician or my friends family to feel awkward,...plus...that's sending two or one tecnicians to the same place in one day, that seems silly to me...so I'll just cancel mine. No big deal...it's just a manicure. It was a bit frustrating, but I got over it. I did feel it was a little odd for the person I talked to not to reassure me that my credit card charge would be refunded, to call them if there's any problems, etc....but I just figured, they're probably pretty frazzled with this scheduling thing, so some textbook customer service protocol goes out the window. But then......my friend tells me that they offered her 10 percent off her services since she had to reschedule. They offered me NOTHING and I am not even able to get my service! I am frustrated because I was very polite and understanding on the phone, even though they couldn't accommodate me.....and their customer service team just said "I'm sorry we can't accommodate you, hopefully next time we can get you guys scheduled together, have a great day, goodbye". This response would've been completely satisfactory, until I realize that wasn't the response across the board to everyone effected by today's scheduling conflict. I'm disappointed and a little hesitant to use the scheduling app, especially within 24 hours of an appointment....it seems like some glitches still need to be worked out with the app, scheduling times offered online matching up with scheduling in real time. read more

I chose from the black and white collection and when my manicurist came to my house I asked for Gel and she was able to be flexible even though I hadn't preordered it. She was fantastic and so friendly and talked with me about gel a lot because I'm the type of person who paints her nails twice a week ( she was so amazing but i forgot her name! sorry)! Never got my nails done here. I booked my appointment online 2 months in advance. Tried to cancel it a week prior to my appointment. Found out the deposit was non refundable. 20 dollars were non refundable?? That's insane. I cant afford to go somewhere where I have to pay 60 dollars for nails and I cant even cancel for any reason. Even at doctors appointment we are supposed to notify the cancellation 48 hours in advance, and here I gave a weeks notice. What a rip off!!!! read more

This new on-demand nail app is so convenient! last night I needed a last minute pedicure and a friend told me about him about pamper. I was a little skeptical in the beginning about a stranger in my home and thought it was a little odd but everything turned out to be amazing ! something that I thought was going to be a rush job last minute service turned into the most relaxing pedicure I've ever experienced!
