Hands down the best tacos I have ever had! I usually get the chica tacos which are my favorite but all are amazing! Everything is made from scratch and it definitely shows through how tasty and fresh everything is. The alcoholic beverage called pink lemonade is so good, make sure to ask for it to be made with their homemade sweet and sour mix. Lynn the bartender is great! She's so inviting and a joy to talk to. The food isn't your typical Taco Bell Mexican either, it's the most unique Mexican cuisine I've ever had & the succulent combination of flavors are mouth watering. All of the ingredients are obviously fresh & homemade, including the taco shells & tostadas in very generous portions. I had a goat taco with chicken & a baby back rib taco, which were both delicious & very filling. The menu is primarily tacos and a few sides and that's all they need. The interesting combinations really grabbed my attention. I opted for the goat taco which was perfectly tender chicken, sweet pepper and goat cheese. I'm so mad at myself for not taking a picture but when the food arrived I dove right in. We also enjoyed homemade chips with queso and chorizo. I absolutely loved the 2 hot sauces that accompanied our meal. Salty, tangy and just the right amount of heat. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner Mike and his wife and really enjoyed their company. This place isn't for a sit down, fancy meal. The place is great! It's very chill and layback. There is no super loud music or crazy crowd. We didn't eat there but came in for a drink almost every day while on vacation. It is located in front of Shepard (I hope I spelled it right) in between 2 convenient stores. They serve tacos all day, so if you like them go and check this place out!!!! Bartenders are friendly and fast in serving drinks. They have $3 draft corona after 10 or 11 at night, it tastes good and very refreshing after a day on a beach. They also have a pool table, electronic darts and other games to play. The only bad side of this place is restrooms - it is one of each and line gets long on busy nights. In town visiting the home office and stayed at the Hilton at the beach. Pan Filo's is within walking distance of the hotel but we Uber'd back. Good beer selection and nice service. While the ambiance gives somewhat of a dive bar vibe we came for the tacos and they did not disappoint. The tacos are served flat as you see from the pics and on a pizza tray with a slice of lime. The corn tortillas are hand made and the short ribs taste like the chef cooked and marinated them days before it's actually served. With love, is what I'm sayin. The ambiance was seriously lacking and was much more a standard bar than a restaurant. I was willing to overlook this for good food, but the food was mostly disappointing. The guacamole was fresh and delicious, but the margaritas were def a cheap mix with very little tequila. We ordered an abundance of different tacos which varied from blah, over slated to inedible. The veggie taco was sooooo salty. In our large group, no one was very satisfied and we ended up at our hotel bar to finish the night with drinks and appetizers to make up for our dismal dinner. Spent a night here on a date getting wasted and eating tacos and was so impressed that I came back for lunch the next day.
