Came ten minutes before closing and then they still had so many options and everything was so fresh. We drove 30 mins to come here because we had a pan dulce craving in this rainy weather. It was worth the drive and the calories. So good! I recommend the concha and pan de elote.

We been looking for a pan ducle place since we moved out here to Riverside. Sometimes it's a hit and miss so yesterday we decided to wing it and try this place out. And so far we are not disappointed at all. Usually places like this close early but we got there around 7pm and they were bringing out some fresh pan. My dad and little sister approved. The people were nice and it was pretty packed when we went. And as we were leaving people were still parking and going in.

The reason for this review is because of the lack of comfort and welcoming in this establishment, I walked into pick up a cake that my mom ordered and the first thing once I walked in none of the ladies greeted me nor my wife. Secondly, I had asked that I'm picking up And they just gave us a dirty look for no reason once she charged me she brought out the cake and typically you would expect a cake to come in a box or something to cover the cake but no these lady simply just gave me the cake as is , I asked if there was a box or asked if they provided boxes and they all looked at each other and giggled and responded that is how all cakes Come mind you it was on a thin plate .ALSO $85 for a cheap cakes with paper not even edible decals just cheap paper all this for a quick buck .I drove 45+ minutes to come and pick up this cake for these ladies to be super unprofessional never order from here and I will never return again and I'll make sure that everybody in the area knows not to come buy any cake from here. Not even food 4 less or Vons is this unprofessional I was better off there

Delicious bread, and great service in both English and Spanish, don't be shy to stop in. They also have champurrado, hot chocolate, and coffee for sale next to one of the bread cases. Bread is always fresh and they have a pretty good selection.

This bakery is good, however I was just charged $15 something for these six items. This seems way overpriced for what we got. I even questioned it, oh well won't be going here again.

It was a little after 10am. I got an itch for some thing sweet. Lucky this place was near by. The sweet smell of fresh baked pastry is one of the first thing you noticed. The other thing you noticed are the racks of goodies. I bought about 7 items. Do not ask me there names... cause I don't know them. They were good. The price was so far below of what I was expecting to pay, that I felt they must have skipped a few items. Great deal. Best thing to do is to eat them right away, with coffee or tea. Yummy They will become stale the next day. That is alright, just give them a quickie in the microwave. Enjoy. read more

I've never truly enjoyed pandulce until my husband introduced me to this bakery I'm not exaggerating when I say, this place makes the most perfect bundle say so flavorful so soft and fresh the Bolio is amazing. We always get them to make sandwiches through the week. Very nice employees, such a great staple I get them for all my holiday gatherings I'm drooling just thinking about them now. read more

This place has the best pan dulce! I have family that lives near there and every time I go down I have to stop here. The conchas are the best! Everything is so good and fresh! I was having those pregnancy cravings moment for tamales and I learned that this place sold tamales. My husband and I stopped by for some pan dulce as well. Their bollilo with chorizo, jalapeno, and cheese was pretty good too. We got a chicken tamale, cheese tamale, and a corn tamale. The chicken tamale was pretty dry but the cheese tamale and corn tamale were pretty good. The champurrado was amazing as well, not too sweet. Pan dulce is pan dulce...I don't think you can screw that up. All in all a great bakery! read more

Ordered 50 assorted treats to take to work. Price was reasonable and they were a big hit. I bought some different ones to take one with me when I picked up the order and they didn't last through the night when my family saw them. First of all this morning May 19 at 7:45, the rude acknowledgment from the only female at working at the counter was obnoxious. Acting like you don't understand English but you want to respond rudely in English. But all smiles if you want to walk in there speaking Spanish. Should be the same interaction and behavior to all customers regardless of the language we choose to speak inside. Crappy segregation behavior like this will come back to you tenfold. Good luck to the business hope no bad karma comes about or to this rude female at the counter with light hair and a dirty gray shirt. read more

PROPANE! This place used to be good. I went recently and the bread tastes like propane. I had a nasty taste in my mouth I could not get rid off. The conchas were semi hard and dry, the next day they were like rocks. Save yourself your money and go elsewhere. read more

If you're Mexican and your birthday is coming up, come to Panadería Jalisco bakery, and get some Mexican Pastries and a cake." We got some Mexican Pastries for my mom's birthday that is tomorrow from when I post this." We got two regular white conchas, Two chocolate conchas, one Golden concha, the pink conchas were out of stock, one regular white polvorone cookie, one golden polvorone cookie, one pink polvorone cookie, one pirate cookie(nonpareil cookie), and one M&M polvorone cookie." Almost everyone in there were fighting for the pastries and they were only two white conchas in stock." Minutes after the Mexican Pastries are displayed, they're gone." Hire more people to bake them so they don't run out often. I recommend this bakery for Mexican Pastries but if you're coming here to buy and/or pickup a cake, get it from somewhere else, because that's what we're doing for my mom's birthday read more

I came this morning to get pan and there wasn't any chocolate conchas and I had asked the lady if they were going to bring anymore out she straight up lied to my face and said no when I literally saw them behind her and she was especially rude never coming back and me and my family have been coming for years but this was the last straw. read more

I think this might be the first Mexican bakery that I've been to and I'm a little unclear about the "Jalisco" reference but regardless I realized that the baked goods were going to do all the talking and translate into yummy deliciousness and tasty breads and pastries. The staff was very friendly and helped me select some of the most popular items. In the end, it was a great place to get some morning baked goods and worth a return trip. read more

Great customer service made a last minute request literally from one day to another to have a cake with a photograph made. I love in Maryland so it was super convenient to get this order in to surprise my aunt on her birthday. I was told the cake was delicious and everyone. Love it. Price is reasonable and affordable. Shady!! This place charges 55 cents ftom every customer that uses a debit card. Not a credit card but debit/bank card. Why? I've never heard of a business charging extra for using a debit card. Shady!! I asked the lady very nicely why she charged debit cards extra and she said the owner told her to do that. Their bread was hard and not very good. Will not be going back. read more

Best local pan dulce!! My dad and I are obsessed with pan dulce and love to come here any time we both have time to buy some together . The pan is always fresh and it's common to end up buying them while they're still warm. The Conchas are super soft and moist and sell out fast but that just makes it easier to buy them while they're fresh from the oven read more

I understand that taste is subjective, and others may have a different experience. However, based on my visit, I did not find the cupcakes to live up to the high praise they receive. I appreciate the outstanding service and hope the quality of the cupcakes will better match the level of care shown by the staff in the future.

As far as options go, I think there's a decent selection of more unique syrups for coffees. They do change it up throughout the year. On this particular trip, I wanted to try their new syrup flavor (it was some form of orange zest, or something similar?), but noticed my latte had no real flavor in it after a few sips. Upon looking at the receipt, the person who took my order just gave me a regular cafe latte and didn't add the syrup I requested. The coffee was fine, but I would have liked trying something new. I have gotten several of their food options before, and I think that some of them are well-priced for the portion and some can be more on the expensive side. I think the avocado toast was pretty robust and was a good value. The steak and eggs are somewhat hit or miss, and I have had it multiple times. The cut of the meat can be chewy at times, and then also more lean and tender other times. Sometimes it comes with large pieces of chewy fat, which isn't quite to my taste. The sandwich options generally are a good value. I do kind of wish they switched up their menu a bit more often, since this current menu is rather basic and they have had more interesting food options before. Overall, a decent choice for a more premium coffee, tea, and food for the Downtown/UCR area of Riverside. Service is okay, and I have had somewhat mixed experiences with that. The employees generally seem pleasant and they're nice, but I have gotten incorrect orders at least a couple of times. During this particular visit, in which the photos are from, I had to ask two different people to get extra napkins. Our actual server was the first to acknowledge, then possibly forgot and didn't come back.

I just want to say that your bread is delicious and I enjoy stopping by when I have court in Riverside. I look forward to stopping by in the morning before court. However, I had a bad experience in your bakery in Rialto. Your bread here in Rialto is a day old and you only have two employees working. You should not allow your employees pose as the Owners and telling everyone they are. On a separate note, it is not good business etiquette to allow your employees to have their children around the hot ovens. I will continue to come to your bakery in Riverside but most definitely not the one in Rialto. read more

This panadería is amazing -- hands down the best in the IE in my opinion! Their pan dulce is always soft, fresh, and absolutely delicious. The tamales are tasty too, although I've noticed they've gotten smaller over the years while the price has gone up. Still, the flavor is solid.
