We said the first test was the chips and salsa. They didn't disappoint. The salsa wasn't super spicy but was very fresh and super flavorful and chips were great. Next up - the margaritas. The house on-the-rocks margs were excellent. Good balanced flavor, enough alcohol but not too strong, doesn't taste like a mix. Finally, the entrees. My daughter and wife got the mole poblano enchiladas. There were very good. The mole had a nice, rich flavor. The portions were large and they both had leftovers. I had the puerco adobado. It was amazing. A very light, slightly spicy red sauce and tender pork. So good! The fourth in our party got flautas, which were excellent and also a large portion. The rice and refried beans were also very good. The only item that wasn't amazing was the tres leches. It was good but not as moist as what we normally get. We ate it, of course. It just wasn't at the level of the rest of the food. We sat outside on the patio. It's right next to the road but also overlooks the creek and was very pleasant. The service was great.
