Team members not trained, was double charged they called there manager he told them he'd put it through when he comes in couple days later???? So I paid for 2 bowls got 1, didn't get my water I paid for either. Sent in for corporate to call 4 days ago. no follow up, it's ridiculous how do you have two kids running a store? They have no idea how to use the POS system. Can't control customer service told me to try to do it on my own online. Still haven't heard from anyone. I'm owed 18 bucks plus my water it's not the point the point that how do you have someone open a store with no one on duty that knows how to run it. I'm a business owner. Just got home with my online order and my food was missing. How to you screw up an order with 2 items?

I decided to try this place - it's a Chipotle knockoff. I ordered the Mexicali Blue. @ $10.95, it was one of the cheaper options on the menu. The staff was friendly and efficient and I had my burrito in less than 3 minutes. Then I went to sit down. The dining room didn't have not even 1 clean table. I literally had to go get napkins and wipe my own table/seat down. Unacceptable. While I was cleaning my table I glanced at the 3 workers doing nothing. While they were BS'ing I was doing there job. Big star loser there. Then I began to eat my rice and bean burrito. I renamed it because it was 95% rice and beans with a dash of chicken. It was bland bland bland. The miniscule amount of green sauce tasted good, but it was only present for 2 bites. It came with chips and salsa which made me happy, until I began to eat them. The salsa tasted like a v8 and the chips were stale-ish. Overall this was a disappointing lunch and I can say I won't be back. Dirty tables and mediocre food make it a bust. Soggy, disgusting nachos. I'm hungry so I decided to walk into salsa Fresca for Mexican food. As soon as I stepped in I saw moist spots on the floor like they forgot to continue cleaning. The place was pretty much empty with little to no people besides the employees. I decided to order some nachos because how could you mess up nachos, right? When I finally received my nachos I drove home. When I sat down and took a bite It was nasty. It was smothered with sour cream and almost no guacamole. Staff was very friendly and my in app order was correct. However I have to say that the amount of avocado in my bowl for an additional $2.25, was pathetic. I feel like it gets less and less every time. In the past if I knew I was bringing the bowl home to eat, I simply add my own avocado. My wife placed an order by phone, and they said 30 minutes for pickup. I arrived, and the place was empty. I was the only one in the store, and the food was not ready. They began the order when I said I was here for pickup. I was patient and waited. What burns me is that the worker showed me how to use the iPad-like screen and told me about the tip process at checkout. Funny how there is no tip option in the first row but hidden in the CUSTOM in the lower right corner, and why do I have to compensate the workers with tips because the owner is not paying enough to his staff? Pay your workers a fair wage and remove the digital tip jar, this isn't a restaurant, and you don't even have delivery service. read more

A few weeks ago my son and I visited Salsa Fresca in order to try something different. We were pleasantly surprised with the options available to us, but more importantly, we were really satisfied with the service we received. The staff member noticed that we were new to Salsa Fresca so he showed great patience with us when it came time to look over the menu and ask any questions we may have. He also took the time to go over their loyalty program through the app. As for the food, just as good as the service. Would never go here , my friend ordered $60 of food on there website for 5/5 , upon arrival for curbside pickup ( for her food that was paid for on line ) no one would answer the phone , she called for 3 hours to no avail, the line inside the store was not safe for social distancing so she remained in her car . Trying to resolve today was told manager would call her and didn't, when she called back told manager to busy to talk to her . She will bump it up to corporate , but would never recommend. I will never return to this place!!!! Today was my second time going to salsa fresca, the first experience was pleasant and the staff friendly (this past Saturday). However cannot say the same for my visit today both me and my wife asked for half baja and half regular chicken. The women attending us gave us double and intended to charge as such. When my wife explained we wanted half and half the man charging at the counter laughed and said it was no problem to make it again. While they are remaking our bowls they charge us and give the bowls that had the double chicken to other customers who seemed to know the employees. When we received our bowls it looked like it was a 3rd of the original size of our bowls and trust me their scoops of chicken were not generous on the first bowls. Completely disappointed. I voiced my issue with the man behind the counter but the employees were rude and saw the whole situation as comedy. I bet they would not be happy spending their hard earned money on what we got. Instead of asking us what the bowls had the woman just dug her gloved hand into the bowl and told the other woman the ingredients. I will never return. Just drive to chipotle. The way they laughed while remaking just clearly showed to me and my wife that they were punishing us for having them remake it. I was surprised that it wasn't more crowded but I think even with a huge line it would move quickly as the workers were definitely hustling behind counter. They have two rice options (Mexican and Brown) and a variety of meats, salsas and other toppings. You can get a burrito, a burrito bowl (taco shell or regular non edible bowl) tacos or quesadilla. You go down the line (like Chipotle) and tell them what you'd like, or you can order off their menu. I recently catered a taco bar from this location and it was fantastic! I worked with Billy the catering sales manager who was so on top of everything! He kept in touch through out the planning process, offered suggestions on menu options and even followed up to ensure I was happy with everything. Tried eating here opening day when they were giving out free burritos and was very very disappointed the closed early at 7 pm and did not tell anyone beforehand instead at 8 pm the employees were looking at everyone trying to come and try there food like they were idiots. Last Saturday, I picked up a catering order for a small party. I had decided on the taco bar option with ground beef and shredded BBQ beef. All good! The taco bar is quite versatile...guests made tacos, salads, etc. The whole ordering process was seamless and they provide you with everything you need. The manager and workers at the Carmel location were helpful and super nice. The food was great and everyone at the party was impressed. I loved it! I've driven by the location on federal road in Brookfield many times and always wondered what they had to offer. When I saw one opening in Carmel I was so excited! I promised myself I wouldn't compare it to chipotle which I have a great love for. I went during the lunch rush (they have a nice $5 deal for students) but everything moved smoothly and very quickly. I got the Aztec garden bowl as a burrito and loved every bite. It feels like they have more options than chipotle and the veggies in my wrap were delicious. The spicy salsa was so so good too. For two people a bowl, burrito and two sodas was around $20. I was also full for the entire day so totally worth it. The employees were really kind and smiley. Even all the customers seemed happy, overall great energy in the place. Finally something decent to eat in Carmel!
