I'm not a big fan of chips and salsa but when you're coming in extremely hungry, it serves as a a great appetizer. I love their big beer cup of horchata! I love horchata and the fact that they're not stingy on their serving, automatically gives them a good rating in my book. They have both a vegan and a regular menus, which once again is great because they care about their customers regardless of their diet, allergens, or preferences. On this day we had the cecina platter, birria beef street tacos, and the vegan tacos de canasta. Their mojara frita (fried fish) is also an amazing dish! They tasted good but I'm really not a fan of eating cold chicken, so I passed them off to my friends. The beans were just okay. There's really not much to say about them. The rice also left me disappointed! I typically devour Spanish rice. Not only was it cold, there were also odd, hard grains of rice mixed in. Not enough to get one every bite but enough that the experience of eating it was off-putting. It was also quite bland. Another note: While we were eating, there was this constant loud droning coming from the air conditioner. I'm a MASSIVE fan of air conditioning so I'm grateful it was on in the first place, but that is something they really need to get fixed. Two women seated near us actually got up and walked outside after commenting multiple times about how disturbing the noise was. My experience here was definitely a mixed bag but it leaned toward the positive, so we'll likely try them again! They had several other menu items I'd like to try, including some American fare that I found intriguing.

Chips and salsa are brought out quickly and the margaritas have a citrus bite to them. Most entrees have rice, beans (refried or black), lettuce and tomato on the side. Some come with avocado and tortillas. A great variety of meats, as well as vegetarian options. Some of our favorites include the Camarones Mojito, Hawaiian Fajitas, and the Chimichangas. The portions are family sizes, so you can split an entree with another person if you don't want to take any leftovers home.
