Today Walking in the customer service was no friendly at all. Just a lady walking to the counter saying how can i help you. Kinda felt rushed. But she did her job. The food was hot and steaming. We ordered in person. Its pretty chilly inside the waiting area today. Our First time trying this place. I swear the order was ready in 10 mins or less. I was surprised. It didn't taste like much though. Like, no flavor. I had the tso chicken & my spouse had the blackened. It was $21.something... The chicken was mushy. No type of crunch at all. My baby didn't like it. We read reviews after trying this place; smh. Wish we read them first. We were in the neighborhood.

Terrible service, terrible atmosphere. "Blackened chicken" tastes like shrimp? Rice is bland and tastes old. Atmosphere is unkept. Scary. Had faith it would be worth trying but wasn't worth it. Save yourself.

If i could put zero stars , this would be the place for it. I don't know where to start, it's between the rancid smell of poop or the poor quality food. I originally tried to order through their website which apparently has been down for a while. After finally calling my order in she told me it would be 10 minutes. I get there and gust of poop filled air smacks me in the face, that was the second red flag but shook it off thinking it could be a sewer near by. I received my food and headed home, only to be disappointed. It was sauce EVERYWHERE , and it just didn't taste good. Please don't walk away from here, RUN!!!

Place seemed fine to me. I dont know what you people expect from all these Chinese food places none are 5 starts. They all taste the same. They always got specials. Leave them be.for 5 bucks I have a meal to feed 3 so I'm not complaining at all!!!

If you look closely you can see the "double" order of chicken and veg atop the $10 box of rice

If you are looking for a $ 9.50 box of fried rice with little to no meat or vegetables, rude impatient service, and a refusal to remake your order when it is wrong then this is the place for you. I really enjoyed the price and quantity of food this restaurant offered when it first opened. But three years on and this restaurant is in complete decline. My most recent and subsequently last order was chicken with broccoli, snow peas and mushrooms in a spicy sauce. I ordered a double portion of this for $9.50 and this was a dinner order that comes with chicken fried rice and an egg roll. Now the last few orders I had made seemed to be about 2lbs of rice with very little meat or vegetables in the dinner, so this time I decided to order a double for three dollars more as I am not a big fan of rice. Unfortunately instead of receiving more chicken and vegetables I got a huge box full of rice with a small pile of shredded chicken and paper thin slices of vegetables, most of which were onions. When I called and explained to them that I did not want 10$ worth of rice and asked if they would take back the box of rice and replace it with the chicken and vegetables they rudely told me that's what came with the order and refused to remake it. Needless to say I will not be back.

The egg-rolls and crab Rangoon are delicious. Don't wast your money on the rice, only a few pieces of meat on top of the rice.

It has a cute, classic diner feel--nothing recently updated, but it was clean and comfortable. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful, which we appreciated. We brought our three young kids and ordered them each a kids meal: chicken tenders with fries, spaghetti, and a cheeseburger with fries. The portions were generous and we even had leftovers, but at $10 per kids meal, the pricing felt pretty steep. We started with the bread basket and pickles, which were both good. My husband ordered the Monterey Jack chicken with mashed potatoes and gravy. He first tried the chicken noodle soup but thought it had a sour aftertaste, so he switched to the beef barley, which unfortunately wasn't much better. His chicken entrée had good flavor, but it was just one thin, butterflied chicken breast. I ordered the New Yorker with fries, which I enjoyed--it was solid and satisfying. When the bill came to around $80, it just didn't feel justified for a deli/diner-style meal. Overall, the food was okay, but the pricing felt high for what you get--especially for a family outing. I might stop in again solo for a sandwich, but we likely won't be bringing the whole family back, mainly due to the cost of the kids meals.

The inside has an old-school diner vibe, which could be charming, but the overall experience didn't quite match. Staff interaction was neutral--not unfriendly, but not particularly welcoming either. My husband ordered the Lynne sandwich and I had the Adele, along with a bowl of matzo ball soup. The soup was definitely the highlight--flavorful and comforting--but at nearly $9 for a bowl, it felt overpriced for what you get. Unfortunately, the sandwiches didn't live up to expectations. The meat was piled in the center of the bread, leaving the ends with little to nothing in each bite, which made them feel poorly constructed and just overall mediocre. We were also surprised by the number of upcharges--extra for toasting the bread, extra for grilling, and even a 3% fee for using a credit card. It all adds up quickly. For two sandwiches and a shared soup, our total came to just over $40, which felt steep given the quality. It's disappointing because we wanted to like this place, but the high prices just didn't align with the food or experience. Unfortunately, we'll likely be crossing Uncle Harry's off our list.

Our server came and took our orders pretty quickly. Our drinks came out fast and the food came out warm and delicious. The bread was very soft and still very delicious after all the years, the salad was pretty good not quite as good as I remembered it to be but still good. The steak Gorgonzola Alfredo was good but they could've used larger steak medallions but it was tasty. The chicken Parm is huge way too much food to eat in one sitting but very good.

She made drinks for others all the while chatting with another customer/acquaintance at the bar. After about 5 minutes of standing there, this 71 year old needed to take a seat which I did, at a table near the bar this time. Still nothing. A young couple was seated in the bar area and lo and behold the bartender came out promptly to take their order. As she was walking away, I called to her because I wanted to know why she refused to wait on me at the bar. She said she thought I was waiting on food, which I was, but I was standing at the bar, money in hand. She shrugged and mumbled something. Then said "well do you want to order something." I explained that my food was nearly ready so I didn't have time now. She walked away. Next thing I know , the young lady who took my to go order came into the bar area and asked me and another takeout customer to leave and sit at the hostess stand as the bar was apparently only open for drinking and dining customers. Only 3 tables, including mine were filled, leaving at least 15 other seats open. I explained that I was sitting there because I had expected to have a drink, but no one would wait on me. I complied and after about Two minutes she called my name to pick up my order., which for some reason she did not hand me right away. I asked if the manager was nearby and she said yes and went off to get him I presumed. She returned, after a few minutes and said he'd be right out. I declined to wait longer, so then she gave me my food in the plastic bag, not the nice brown paper ones. But hey, I understand they go in and out of financial problems and it is easy to see why. I won't be returning. I like restaurants who value customers who spend 25.00 and in my case, who are willing to spend more. I even left a tip, but that was because the Olive Garden app sent me the bill almost immediately. Go to a restaurant that understands hospitality--not the Olive Garden in Roseville, MI.
