Okay I real do like Panda Express but I will now have to draw the line. I order the chow mein but please I would like to have more noodles. I got for the last time more cabbage then noodles. Please make the chow mein with more noodles!!!

Teriyaki Chicken, Black Pepper Angus Steak and White Rice. What I usually order. The servings could have been a little better if you ask me.

This restaurant is located in a place near which I frequently find myself, thus I come here at least once a week, and well...here's what I think. First, the employees and some customer service. The employees are for the most part friendly, they greet you upon entering, take your order and make you feel welcome, sometimes, however there are those who don't want to take your order or just want to argue with you when you ask if you could have a little more of a certain menu item. There is one woman there who is like that, and, for that reason, I don't come here when she's usually working. Now, let's talk about the food! I love the Teriyaki Chicken and Black Pepper Angus Steak. Those are what I normally get as my two entrées and then White Rice as my side. I also like to get the String Bean Chicken Breast, but almost every time I come here and order it, I have to wait 10-20 minutes, one time almost half an hour! And then I have to get up and check, because no one keeps me in the loop of its status and eventually they forget about me and I end up with my food being cold. They don't seem to be as organized at times here. Maybe look into that is my advice for them. As I mentioned above, I come here frequently and I'll probably still come here, but I better not have to wait 20-30 minutes ever again for a menu item here or I'll just go somewhere else from now on. This is supposed to be FAST food.

The food is subpar. Chow mein was dry and hard. Sesame chicken was cold. Fried rice was the best part and that wasn't fresh it tasted like a microwaved meal. Huge disappointment. We had the meal delivered and several items weren't delivered. We will not be ordering from them again.

Overall, I give this panda Express a 3.75. It is popular so expect lines, drive through and inside. Atmosphere: 4 star. The inside looks polished and was mostly clean. There is outdoor seating and all on all, it looks pretty good. One note though, the men's room only has a toilet. I had to double che6i didn't go to the ladies room. The mens room is missing a wall urinal. Customer service: 5 stars. I received excellent attention and friendliness from employees Shong and Ka. My order was done right and fast. Value: 3 stars. The drinks are standard price. The food is filling however. I ordered the bowl and got Angus beef which was an extra $1.25. Came out to around $8. Quality: 3 stars. The Angus beef was tender and good but I didn't like the oil they used. The rice was a bit dry. I imagine they have a schedule when they put fresh food in and throw out the old. I dont know how many hours it is but the rice was not fresh. I wouldn't order it next time. The noodles (mein) was good though.

Ordered the bowl after a long day of work came home opened it and only had 4 pieces of chicken in it. Jokes on me I guess

When I am in town for work, I go to this Panda Express. They are incredibly cheap on the portion size. That's why I ask for both entrees to be honey walnut shrimps, which costs extra for both entrees. You will never get what you pay for. The picture attached is an accurate representation of how little the staffs put in the plate. Also, yesterday I went through the drive thru and they gave me the wrong order. Good thing I checked my order before driving off, because I ended up needing to go inside to get my order corrected.

The place is clean and everybody was friendly. The food is on a cafeteria type line, you just pick out what you want, and then they serve it to you and you take it to your table. I can't speak to the main dishes, themselves, as I just came in for a Boba tea. I did see that they also had wontons on the line, so I also did an order of wontons as a snack. The wontons were wonderfully crispy, and not greasy at all, and they were very generous with the portion. I liked the sweet-and-sour sauce, it was sweet and just a little bit tangy. I had the Matcha milk tea, it was creamy and had a wonderful flavor. It's hard to describe the flavor of Matcha, but I do like it. It was a bit sweet, and just a bit savory. They asked me if I wanted the Boba pearls, which I did because I like them a lot, and they were very generous with them. A milk tea and an order of wontons was only nine bucks. Extremely reasonable. Thank you for a nice stop.

It was 100 outside and just humidity and hot inside as well. Very uncomfortable. -Ordered 2 boba milk teas. It was like drinking watered down milk with a slightly toxic weird flavor. It did not taste good. -Ordered 2 shrimp fried rice bowls. The rice was old and seemed like it'd been reheated. (My husband is Filipino. I know what fresh rice and fried rice tastes and looks like. This was NOT) The shrimp had been boiled. Not fried. -Also ordered a thing of the crab wontons. They were very rubbery and stale. Overall it was very disappointing. Will not be eating there on our way back home. Side note: I probably would have gotten a combo but all the food on their food line was dried out and looked like it had been sitting all day. I threw out what I had left. Which from the pic I didn't even eat half.

This is a…read moreChinese buffet restaurant, and from what we searched, only buffet they had in all of Chico area. Even the casinos no longer offer buffets at casinos (this is very sad). So we are buffet snobs as well. We know a good place when we've eaten at one, and there are not many out there. Really there are what is it a dime a dozen? but the opposite. Let me start off by saying that this place serves normal food. I mean if you remember Hometown Buffet from back in the days, where they just got staple food and it was done well. Not great, but well. This is like that place. They do well with what they offer. First off, visited the salad station. You'd prob thinking, it's just salad right? Well, yes, but this is why this was great. NO ONE WAS THERE!!! LOL. Chico got some fat ppl that don't eat veggies. The vegetables were clean and fresh. 100% they cleaned and prepped this today. Also, their crab salad was stellar. Like right amount of mayo and the crab salad was not the cheap stuff either. Keep in mind there are people going around the buffet stations cleaning up ALL THE TIME TOO, so they are concerned about presentation very much. Had their hot and sour soup. It was good. It did not taste like buffet soup, but it was good like if you were to sit down and eat at a Chinese restaurant good. On to the fried food. This is where they shine. They don't just fry for the sake of frying stuff. They make sure it is lightly battered and seasoned gently. These stuff are not fried from frozen. From the fried chicken (this is fresh - i know that for fact cuz my mouth said so), the fried shrimp stellar. Everything was piping hot like they make sure the warmers are hot and that they refill the food up properly. Like I said multiple workers goes around ensuring things look and is right. Their fries were even hot and crispy. WTF. Those are usually soggy and gross. Not these. Tried so many stuff this evening I think i gained like 10 lbs! I did try the sushi - meh, and it's not expected if you pay $20/pp for buffet your sushi quality gets better. It was just a hair below ok. I didn't care for it, but at same time expectations were low. They also had a grill station where you can pick a boat load of stuff and have them fry it up. I didn't try it, but they have a lot of great options between veggies and meat. Overall, for $20/pp for dinner on a Sunday night is a steal! Like remember Hometown Buffet for $10/pp for dinner? This is like that, but with inflation and tariffs, still a great deal! Next time we in this area, this is first place we'd go back to for dinner. This was memorable and in comparison, to all Sacramento area stuff, this one is top 3 at least.

Watching the cooks hard at work and mastery of Mongolian bbq was like a well-oiled machine. Watching the cooks and seeing staff continuously refill the food, toppings, and sauce containers for customers, while also putting out more bowls and trays, was like watching a flawless production! As for our food, the price of lunch is bang for buck because of how much you can fill your Mongolian BBQ bowl and the soup, rice, and addicting wonton chips with sweet and sour dipping sauce that come with your lunch meal. I gave 4 stars because the garlic and potato soup was super salty. My friends and I agreed this soup would have been perfect if it didn't taste like salt was poured into it. In addition, watching the cross contamination of some diners touching the raw meat in their bowls then touching the next tongs, like for the veggies, was a big health risk concern for me. With this, I keep in mind that I don't even know if this can be prevented due to the way Mongolian BBQ works with customers serving themselves, like a buffet. I understand it would be hard to control and prevent the cross contamination from touching the meat, especially as customers try to make room in their big bowl. In the end, the number of people dining, then seeing more people entering, shows how popular Hula's is!
