The chow mein here is one of the best out of all PEs I have been to. No grease at the bottom of my container and crunchiness of veggies proved it. Orange chicken was a bit too smothered with the sauce and mostly batter and not enough chicken meat inside. The steak thing was a little saltier but meat was pretty tender and delicious. The floor was covered with water, seemed something was leaking, the tables weren't wiped so I grabbed a wet paper then wiped the table. I took time to clean it thoroughly because sauce drops and food pieces were all dried stuck on the surface, tables must have not been cleaned for a while. I wad cleaning the table for a while and I thought to myself, 'what am I doing here???' My server seemed like a new, so she was slow, didn't offered samples. read more

Wow I was pretty surprised by most of the reviews. My 2 "complaints" (Not complaints. Just minor improvements that may be needed), are the chicken egg rolls don't have much flavor and the portions seemed smaller the second time around. Other than that I haven't really had any issues with the food or the service here. The line was longer than usual, but the panda express employees got through the orders pretty quickly. I do appreciate the heros discount, as any little bit helps. Never have had a bad experience here. Just the chicken egg rolls need to be improved, but that's upper management's responsibility to take on with the chefs that come up with the recipe. Enjoy!!! read more

Regular here as I live down the street and the location for the most part was always good. Lately, the staff is rude (witnessed this again today while ordering my food), and those portions have gone down hill. I paid $1.25 extra for the steak and got a tablespoon of food. I even asked my son if it seemed like the portions were less and by seeing other reviews I'm not crazy. The portions are laughable to say the least and don't ask for more because they'll say they have to charge you. Broccoli and beef is now just broccoli. Oh and my stomach has been hurting since I ate and my poor 2 year old at some noodles and has been telling me her tummy hurts. Food and Pricing are OK..I do like the 5 Flavor Shrimp or Pacific Chili Shrimp when it's in season. I try to go to most food places early, like when they open up, so hopefully I'm getting it more Fresh per se, many times I'll be the first to order from different places. I got to Panda shortly after open and I see the most disturbing thing. The worker is sticking the temperature probe into a meat dish, then without wiping or cleaning, places it into the device, takes it out again probes the chicken, takes it out again and probes the shrimp.. I know food places don't always follow every single rule and you know what it's not easy maintaining food safety but this really disturbed, I just watched the probe go into different meats, not washed or cleaned in any way. I saw an advertisment for their new Almond Chicken so decided to try it. I went into this store and they said they did not have it. So I ordered Orange Chicken and Broccoli Beef with 1/2 Chow Mein and 1/2 Fried rice for the side. They were out of Chow Mein so I, and several others, had to wait for it to be cooked and refilled. When I got home I found I had all Chow Mein and it was undercooked, and dry. The Orange Chicken was nothing like I had ever had, it was tasteless and I could taste no orange glaze, it seem like a little bit of honey only on it. Let me start with what I like to believe is one of the greatest food inventions I've come up with....Okay you ready? Take two packets each of the Chili Sauce & Hot Mustard & squeeze them next to each other so that they're slightly overlapping. Next, dip your chicken or beef in the sauce you've created by getting half mustard & half chili on your meat. And voila! You've got yourself Must-Chill sauce ;) Oh and P.S. You're welcome :) Now, on to what you're going to dip into this magic sauce you've created... I love the Chow Mein here so I usually opt for all Chow Mein. Some people do half rice, half Chow Mein, but the rice usually tastes too dry and bland & doesn't pack a punch. For the meats, I recommend my personal favorite, Orange Chicken. I also like the Grilled Teriyaki Chicken, Shanghai Angus Steak, Kung Pao Chicken, or Black Pepper Chicken. I don't care for the egg rolls here. They smell weird. I usually either get the Cream Cheese Rangoons, Chicken Potstickers, or the Hot & Sour Soup if I want to add an additional item to my meal. Food for thought: "Although 99% of their diet is bamboo, a panda's digestive system is designed for meat. In fact, pandas absorb only 20%-30 % of bamboo nutrients.
