    Mountains of food

Had to pick up some dinner and was in Huntington Beach and remembered Obi said to try out TN Homg Kong Express. So glad I did. I got the half/ half and the Orange chickenthe BBQ pork, egg rolls and Chicken zucchini mushroom stir fry. Amazing quantities of protein on my plate. I have never had to picture the HEIGHT of the food. I should have video recorded this plating up. There's no way the cover could ever close up. They triple bagged it! The egg rolls are plain and mostly cabbage which was surprisingly tasty and very crispy. The rest of everything was really good too. I'm probably going to eat off of this plate for two more days

Went here the other day after work because I was craving some comfort bad Chinese food.. I saw from my friend's post that this place was good and they gave huge portions. So I figured I would give them a try. They do pile on the food here. They packed so much in my box and I think I got the 3 items plate. It was so much that my 3rd item was in a separate box. Food was good, you get what you pay for. Staff was super nice. Would def recommend for the portion and nice staff!

A yearn for good American - Chinese food at Hong Kong Express today. The lovely missus and granddaughter were hungry and decided to accompany me to the small restaurant. Wow, the place was hopping with delivery drivers and looks like the few tables are all occupied. No matter, we are taking the food home... The lovely missus goes first.. and they have the cream cheese wontons ready for her. She did the half and half combo with big scoops of orange chicken. Granddaughter is still confused about so many items to choose from. Definitely wants eggdrop soup. She pointed to Fried Rice and the tray of chicken and zuchini and mushrooms. My preference this time is to slurp the yellow thick noodles with crunchy fresh cabbage, add tofu with eggplant and it looks like the lady gives me a heavy dose of fried tofu. Ok, this take out is stellar, enough food for lunch, afternoon snack and late dinner. We enjoyed our selections and I tasted a morsel of the orange chicken. That was fantastic, no wonder it is a favorite. Hong Kong Express was definitely the right choice for 3 of us. Yes, we will come back.

This place is yummy but also sooo chaotic inside. It was our first time visiting and I'm not sure if it was the time we came or if it's always like that, but it was busyyyyyy. We got to order quickly but the wait for the orange chicken took almost 20+ minutes. This place gives extremely generous portions!! But because of that, each full tray of orange chicken that came out was scooped into only about 3 combo plates. So we waited awhile for it be our turn to get our food. But the long wait meant we got fresh orange chicken which did not disappoint! The fried chicken became soggy for us because they put the mountain of orange chicken on top. But the chow mein was delicious! Definitely not nasty and chewy like the one at Panda Express. This chow mein was soft and flavorful. You can't beat this place for the price and quantity, I would definitely come back again.

We stopped by the Instagram famous Hong Kong Express in Westminster that serves you gigantic portions of Chinese Fast Food. Old school Chinese fast food type. Food is decent, nothing special. I was hoping the Orange Chicken will be similar to Panda Express but it's not. It's more sweet than sour. Giangantic egg rolls were good though. Food is good when you eat there. With the huge portions they give you, you will have leftovers. But heating it up the next day makes it not desirable anymore and it's so greasy, made me stomach queasy. Each combo 2 items is $15, 3 items $17 plus. Easily 2 people portion. Located in the same shopping center as Lynda's Sandwhiches and T&T Supermarket.

Parking: Free large parking plaza Interior: A little rundown vibes with old chinese takeout aesthetic. Seating include a few ~x4 person benches. Wait Time: None. People were ordering on the line really fast and service was quick to get people's orders in. They refill items also really quick. Items Order: 3 items combo $17 - FAT PORTIONS (except wings) 10/10 Orange chicken - Got a fresh batch and it was FIREEEE!! Must get. It is super saucy but not overwhelming in flavor and also the text is still crispy yet the breading to meat ratio was perfect so you aren't just eating crust. 7/10 Bbq pork - Average chinese fast food item but still good. Not that dry but could use more charsiu sauce. 6/10 Spicy chicken wings - comes on the side but you get only like x4 pcs. Not too much value so I would pick something else as they weren't amazing either. CHOW MEIN is really good. Fried rice is ok but I would get just chow mein coming back.

Be ultimately prepared to get more than your money's worth here. This place is incredible. The ingredients are delicious. The lunch specials are absolutely beautiful, but I'm gonna tell you right now. I ordered the three item plate they didn't get around. I split up the chow mein on the rice, but I made sure that I had the jalapeño chicken, the broccoli, beef, and the barbecue pork which by the way is the best barbecue pork I've had a long time now you might be thinking you're coming here for lunch, but you're not you're coming here for lunch and dinner because this place will take care of you. They will make sure they only do you get the best food but you get enough of it to share with your friends yes and they do offer the family dinner.

Stopped by Shun Fat for groceries and decided to get the chow mein 2-item combo again. This time the flavor was on point. I actually think their chicken tastes better than the BBQ. Portions were just as generous as last time, no way my husband and I could finish it, so leftovers came home with us. Before leaving, we saw another customer ordering the fried chicken. One of the aunties recommended it, so we ordered 6 pieces for $10, which already felt like a solid deal. To our surprise, she threw in 4 extra pieces!! so generous! We tried the fried chicken after home and it was honestly legit: crispy, well-seasoned, and way better than expected. Definitely a must-order next time.

    Enjoyed all the insects

This was one of the absolute worst experiences I've ever had. Everything looked fine and tasted okay at first. The noodles felt a little stale but orange chicken was good. After already eating a portion we found insects all over one of items (the beef and broccoli). Completely ruined our appetite. It raises serious concerns about the cleanliness of the kitchen and whether anyone is inspecting or washing the produce before it's served. I'm thinking they were a colony of aphids that was in the broccoli and it wasn't washed well. I paid for lunch, and got a plate full of bugs. The entire meal went straight into the trash after we saw them. We were mortified. Completely unacceptable, and I will never order from this restaurant again. Save your money and go somewhere that takes food preparation seriously. Never again.

I dare you to find another restaurant that would give you better portion of food along side with a amazing quality like Hong Kong Express! The portion here is HUGGGEEEE!! The staff really stuff your plate with entrees and dishes. My go-to entrees here are orange chicken, chasiu pork, and eggplant tofu! I tried their broccoli beef for the first time recently and it was so good too! I prefer their chowmein over fried rice, as it is more flavorful. Their orange chicken is amazinggggg!! It stay crunchy for a long time. We also try their wonton soup as well! The broth was flavorful and they give you lots of shrimps! Located in the same plaza as Thuan Phat Market and always busy with customer constantly coming in and out. I have try other Hong Kong Express location, but this location is the e best for the quality of the food and the giant portion! They have limited seatings, so mostly to-go.

When my family needs a break from meal prepping for the work week, we like to order a couple of the combo boxes and still have enough leftovers for that same day! 2-ITEM combo is about $16 and 3-ITEM is about $18. The hype is real here, they really do stuff your box to the point it can't be closed. My family likes to order their Orange Chicken, Charsiu Pork and the Mushroom Chicken. Sometimes, the Orange Chicken is good but sometimes, and maybe I was just unlucky that one time, it felt like it was mainly batter. I prefer their Chow Mein over the Fried Rice. If you're not picky about Americanized Chinese Food, then you need to visit this spot! It's in the same plaza as SF Supermarket, so parking can be a struggle to find.

Portions! Portions! Portions! Need a perfect hangover meal? Or just craving some Chinese food? This spot is the best. The women behind the counter are wonderful and completely load up your plates. We came in with a line, and it went by fast. Recommend the chow mein and orange chicken!

Okey this place is about quantity over quality for sure. Don't get me wrong, the foods are just so so but definitely, the portion is just HUGE. Was in the plaza and late evening therefore stopped by for quick Chinese fast foods. I wouldn't say it's Hong Kong style, Chinese yes, HK most likely not. Parking is easy since the plaza has a big parking lot. The place is decent, messy & not well organized. Staff or all the ladies there are nice, friendly and funny. Got 3 items portion but somehow got 2 instead...the rice is undercooked (my pov), and the noodle is tasteless. Got the green beans and bbq pork...it's amazing how they packed it, item on top of item....and when you open the box, you literally don't know where to begin. The green bean is abit soaked therefore mushy and still abit under seasoned. The bbq pork is huge with big cut. Still not quite taste like bbq pork I used too...looks like it but unfortunately under delivered in taste. There is couple orange chicken got into the box (eve though I did asked for it), just say that I'm so glad I didn't get the portion of it. It's just okey, more of the batter and for me doesn't taste like orange chicken...the seasoning and taste are just off for me. Overall for the price (and I had been to place that is similar to this, taste better and cheaper to), it's aok. If it wasn't for the service, I would give it a two.

There were lots of people on laptops, and some outlets along the walls for charging. I tried the Sweet Corn Latte and the Pistachio Matcha Latte. The Sweet Corn Latte was aptly named. It was sweet, and the foam on top had a surprisingly authentic corn flavor. I also liked that they offer a decaf version, which isn't something every specialty coffee shop has. The Pistachio Matcha Latte was smoother and more subtle. The pistachio wasn't very strong, but it complemented the matcha nicely. If you enjoy matcha and don't want something overly sweet, it's a good choice. We also ordered the Popcorn Chicken, which ended up being one of the highlights. It was well-seasoned, crispy on the outside, and still tender inside. Definitely one of the better popcorn chickens I have had. Overall, this is a solid café with creative drinks, good food, and enough space to settle in for a while. I'll definitely be back.

I was hesitant to try this place after reading some bad reviews regarding service, cost, quality, etc. I'm not sure what y'all experienced but this burger was delicious. Most local joints have dry burgers or put too much lettuce or not enough thousand island. Not only was the burger juicy, but the cheese was melted perfectly. For 80% of the burger, the balance with the veggies and thousand island was perfect. The end, as it all slides there eventually anyways, there was a tad too much but it was still delicious. The lettuce gave the perfect crunch. Genuinely one of the best burgers I went to. The fries were crispy yet not too crispy. They don't season their fries, which I honestly love so I can season as I want. I dined in and was asked if I wanted ranch and/or ketchup. Normally you have to charge $.25-1 for ranch, but they gave me two containers for free. I think the ranch is homemade, too. It's not too thick and is a bit watery but I honestly liked it. Plus they have yellow peppers and let you get your own, which is amazing. The workers were kind and attentive enough. I don't need nor care for them to be paying attention to me the entire time. That's awkward. They're human. But they treated me kindly and respectfully. Restroom and restaurant as a whole was clean and not too loud. 10/10 will come again. Stop being snooty.
