The first Drive-tru location i've visited, but I decided to dine-in instead. Came here on a Saturday evening and almost all their food was out. This was a first, because never have I come across a Panda Express that had almost zero food ready. On top of that, their "fresh veggies" were burnt. I only knew this because the staff server advised that I don't pick it. And if I wanted more options that I would have to wait a variation of 10-15 minutes depending on which item and how many other items I wanted that wasn't available. This was disappointing because only 3 things were available besides the fried rice, chow main, and "burnt" veggies. They did have their honey walnut shrimp, but only had 2 pieces left. I will never understand their portions for that entree, especially since they charge extra for it. I'm not one to ride on someone else's review, but a lot of people were right. no food ready, and they are more willing to have people wait for more food to be cooked. I was very disappointed with this Panda Express. I don't know if it's the volume of customers they have, but their food quality is sub-par and their selections are limited compared to others. I got the family pack to-go and it is nicely packed and carries well for the car. Now let's talk about the food. The chow mein was very dry and felt like it had been sitting there for a while. It needed a couple packets of soy sauce to give itself some flavor and moisture. The egg fried rice had overcooked eggs and the rice was also dry as well. You would think with their volume they would be turning over or producing fresher food, but I am baffled by the quality. The signature orange chicken was the only item that was good. I also tried the honey chicken and that was a disappointment as the breading used for it is flavorless and over battered. It tasted more like I was chewing batter than I was chicken. They gave me plenty of packets containing forks and napkins, but the way they pack them all but one of the packets had opening during transit or they were already opened, so I didn't feel comfortable using them. The staff was talking to each other, wiping counters, etc. We stood there for five minutes (no line or people in front of us) and never got waited on. My review is mostly based on service. My kids and I had a long day and it showed, they were being awful and not listening. The main cashier was so patient and understanding even offering me free egg rolls to try and lessen the blow of my unruly children. We love panda always have. Recently visited this location in Elizabethtown. It was about 3 pm, but Panda was a busy place for the time of day. We decided to go through the drive thru. On the sign they had labeled that they were out of quite a few things, including teriyaki chicken, honey walnut shrimp, and angus steak among others. It really seemed like they were out of a lot of things. We place an order for two plates from among what they still offered. The person in the drive thru was friendly and it did not take too long considering there were several cars in front of ours. When we got home, however, one of our orders (mine) was wrong. I ate it anyway, but next time I may just order inside so I can check my order as they fix it. read more

3/11/2023 Ordered through app, food was late and items were missing. After seeing the delivery driver and his vehicle I'm concerned about eating the food after it had been sitting in his vehicle. Even better! I started eating, I got the shrimp with vegetables as one of my items. It looked like it came out of a microwave and the vegetables were all stems! Ordered a couple weeks ago through the app, food was late, items were missing and I could see across the parking lot that my drink was wrong, it was orange and I'd ordered rootbeer. All of the pandas that I have been to in multiple cities and states over the past six years are getting quite stingy with portion size as they increase the prices- but this one took the cake when I went the other day to get a plate and the clerk put less than one scoop of rice and less than one of chow mein in the container, less than one of the two sides and then the third that wouldn't fit (it totally would have fit!!) she put in a side container with at least a1/4" of space left at the top. I asked her to fill it up and she said it was full and they don't let them fill it up anymore. I was mad and left! I did not buy anything and that is the last time I will ever go back to any of them again- the food isn't even that good anymore anyway. There was a time when they could barely close the lids they were so full and we went at least twice a week! Now I barely go twice a year and it looks like I'm done altogether now. This is my second time and this experience was worse then the first. The little girl don't remember her name but if I did I would write it in caps. Very very rude and disrespectful. While placing order she messed it up when respectfully letting her know she catches an attitude. I asked for fried rice without eggs in it because I'm allergic and she said we can make it for you but I don't want to so it's is white rice or order something else. I asked to speak to the manager and was told they were not in the building but you can wait but they probably won't be back for at least an hour. This panda express is the worst. Every time we go in there we never get helped. They're too busy helping the drive-thru and the Door Dashers. They also don't have any food. This time they had no chow mein and no fried rice. Wow! There are a lot of bad reviews of this place concerning their poor attitude, slow service, shortage and quality of entrees. I've been here several times and yes I have experienced the slow service but didn't mind the wait, which definitely is longer than one would expect from a "fast casual" restaurant. I don't really fault them for the quality of their food since at best it is average to below average. It does bare some semblance to Chinese food much like Taco Bell is to authentic Mexican food. While they are consistently running low on the popular dishes, the food at this location taste like all the other Panda Express restaurants I've eaten at, greasy and a little too sweet. The best example of their vaguely Chinese inspired food is their new sichuan hot chicken which is nothing more than chicken tenders covered with a weird "hot" sauce. The prices are about the same as independent mom and pop Chinese restaurants except for the white steamed rice which cost the same as all the other sides. Odd. If you want average Chinese food at a normal price, and have the time to wait then Panda Express is a good choice. read more

I placed an online order at 2:30 pm for pickup at 4:30. The order was not ready and I had to wait for a side-dish on the order to be cooked. The excuse at the store was that they only get the order printout 10 minutes before the scheduled pickup time. Then I had to wait for them to fill all the walkin orders before they started mine. My order was ready by 4:42. Not a huge wait, but it would have been just as long a wait if I had just walked in. This drive thru is what you call a "captive drive thru" once you get in, there is no way to get out. Landscaping and hills on one side. Restuarant building on the other. I waited for 25 minutes in the long line until it was my turn at the speaker to order food(which at this point I am captive in the line)when the person says " We are only accepting cash at this time, go ahead with your order..." to which I responded "Excuse me? I don't carry cash. I've waited 25 minutes in this line and now your telling me cash only? I can't even get out of line." At this point I am unbelievably pissed!!!. I WILL NEVER EAT FROM THIS RESTUARANT AGAIN! They should have set a sign out or something. You shouldn't treat your customers like this, if you want them to be future customers again. NO POTSTICKERS??? Well, what exactly is the point then??????? Location very recently opened in a small, brand new building in the Hobby Lobby / Academy Sports / BW3 shopping area. They're still in opening mode, so they're staffed to the gills and getting premade food out hot and, well, pretty much exactly what you'd expect if you've ever been to a Panda Express before. The TL; DR, if you're not already familiar with the chain (which is, for me only useful because of the ability to get so-so flavored, piping hot potstickers without getting out of the car), it's basically Chi-merican with a fast food model, usually including drive-thru. Menu is organized around meals, where you pick from one to three protein items (from a limited menu) and a starch (chow mein, fried rice, plain rice) at the drive thru menu and staff get it all clamshelled for pickup at the window. Wait times weren't excessive and (having overheard orders from several cars in front of me) the cashier was doing a good job of explaining options or confirming customers knew an item contained peanuts or whatnot. There is an eat-in area which appeared clean and comparable to Chik-fil-a or the Arbys on the Dixie (which, I guess, would be a leg up on some of the in-town Chi-merican competition, if you were looking for a place to eat). For the quantity of food, more expensive than local carryout Chinese places. Given all of the options, it was annoying that the person putting my order together gave me the red glop for my appetizer order (which I'd said I didn't want) and forgot the extra soy sauce (which I requested). The texture of their eggroll wrappers is more like a deep fried taco shell (no, not in a good way). It was uniformly 'Meh.' I can't imagine that the convenience of the drive thru will come close to competing (even in Etown) with existing better Chi-merican carryout. read more

Not only were they out of stuff, when I got up the the order menu The woman working informed me they were closing 6 minutes after I finally pulled up (so 8pm) and the hours say they're open until 8:30... So They were out of stuff they simply didn't have which again I understand due to shortages, but they also only have single servings of very few things.
