very tiny portions. food was over cooked, broccoli disintegrated in my mouth. The chow mein was 75-90% vegetables (not kidding). Orange chicken was like cafeteria chicken strips tossed in sauce, no crunch or flavor This was the first and only time I'll come to this panda (love other ones across the country though!!)

Cockroach INSIDE my bowl. I finished half the bowl already before I even noticed it was there. As if that wasn't bad enough I wasn't even worried about getting my money or god forbid another bowl so I just wanted to call them and make them aware they clearly have an infestation and I called .. 6 times.. and never once got an answer. Really disappointing, this place use to be so good and it's really gone down hill. Hopefully nobody gets sick.

    Baby Cockroach in Panda Express

I love eating here but apparently they have roaches. I was waiting for a pickup order when I saw a baby one crawling around near the tables by the register. If they didn't have roaches, this would be an easy 5 star, but I'm not a fan of cockroaches in any establishment that serves food. Also, they marked my order ready at 10:04 AM, but they told me it would be another three minutes when I came in. I then proceeded to wait for 15 minutes, and the store wasn't busy at all.

    Chinese food duhhh

This place gets a 3 from me cause I got a plate and had to repeatedly tell the workers what I had already told them I wanted on my plate and then I get to the register there is no chop sticks!! Wtf I don't like to eat my Chinese food without those sticks buddy lol. To top it off I donated and then go sit down and I open up my egg roll and it's ice cold inside of not 1 but all 4. They threw them away after we were looked at like we were lying. Then we got the replacements and by then we were almost done eating. The new egg rolls were hot and dry hardly any moisture. Blah blah blah blah! Thanks

Pretty decent. Ate here a few times. Taste good but I wouldn't eat it every day. It gets tiring. I tried for a while. Haha. On lunch breaks. But anyways not bad.

2 entree plate with a side: Chow mein, sweet fire chicken and Shanghai Angus steak. Wasn't as good tonight as it usually is.

Fast food Chinese food, Panda Express remains consistent in their menu choices and quality of service most of the time. Although I prefer a little more of an authentic Chinese food, at least the Americanized version, Panda Express never fails to hit the junk food spot. I am also consistent in what I order. I'm not a rice person, so I always get the chow mein. And my favorite entree is the sweet fire chicken, which comes with pineapple chunks. More recently I've also been adding the Shanghai Angus steak. I get a small cup of the sweet and sour sauce to pour over my food. Sometimes I will get a few crab rangoons at the end near checkout. This last time I came in, my chicken wasn't very fresh; kind of hard and they were scraping the bottom of the bowl. They also didn't give me full servings. My crab rangoons were super hot and fresh though! This particular Panda Express sits on Carl D Silver Parkway, in a small plaza. I have never dined in; only got it to go. Staff are always friendly, offering up samples. When you walk in, you get in line like at a Subway and someone will give you your choice of chow mein or rice (or vegetables at some locations), someone else gets your entrees and someone else rings you up. In the back, you can see a cook or two. You can order what they call a bowl, which comes with one side of either rice or chow mein, and 1 entree choice. You can also order a plate, which comes with 2 entrees and a side. Then they have larger options from there. They also offer spring rolls or veggie rolls and crab rangoons, as you're checking out. I never order a fountain drink, but they have fountain drinks and bottled water available for purchase. The prices are fair enough for what you get. This one in particular does seem to be a little skimpier than others i've been to and should always give equal spoonfuls.

And I did like the fact that the food was cooked to order so it was very fresh. I did not visit the restroom so I can't speak to the status of the cleanliness. The soda fountain could have been a little cleaner. Everything was very sticky, and the tray was overflowing. The tables and around the tables were clean.. The hush puppies, biscuits, and the macaroni and cheese were the best I've ever had from a fast food restaurant. As for the chicken, it smelled amazing. Unfortunately, from my taste, I found it very salty and greasy. The chicken was well flavored, but it was just way too salty for me I also tried their banana pudding and unfortunately, once again, at least from my taste, it was lacking the right flavors. I did try their honey butter chicken biscuit sandwich I found that to be delicious So for that alone, it's totally worth a trip. I did forget to take a picture of banana pudding and the honey butter biscuit sandwich

French Crinkels fried to perfection and crust to the bite yes with salt. Chicken tenders mmm juicy and had a distinct crucnh to it. Bread was soft and coleslaw mmm mmm fresh. That was the experience every time. And when I saw there was a canes here I jumped...well more like hopped because knee replacement and arthritis can lock my knees up and then I wouldn't be able to go to canes let alone enjoy it because it would hurt my joints more because of--oh my here I go rambling on tangents sorry sorry...where was I...oh yes, back to this. I was excited to see there was a canes here. While the service here is phenomenal--especially the young woman who always has the most intricate and absolutely stuninh nails, yes she is kind, the food is not quite the Kentucky Raisin I was raised on HA! Chicken tenders are good, but lack the crunch. They seem more breaded and soggey. Fries are a bit limp as well...but my recent visit led me to disappointment as it seems my carry out box was not secured,, I took a left to get back on carl d pkwy and well...all my contents fell out. Sigh. My Volvo enjoyed the meal at least, and I got a tender and fries and of course the best lemonade ever so it was not bad enough to leave a unpleasant taste in my tongue thank you i will be back maybe later yes. I didn't go inside I don't know what the ambiance is like ok sorry.

There stood a cheerful young lady with a tablet beside the speaker box, hustling orders with the urgency of an air traffic controller at Reagan National. Now I will give them this -- they move people through faster than a tax refund disappears in Washington. I ordered three chicken finger baskets and repeated "unsweetened tea" enough times that it should have become part of the permanent record. Reconfirmed it at the second window too. We were in and out in four minutes flat, carrying enough Styrofoam and paper sacks to feed a Little League team. Six minutes later at home, the first sip of tea hit like liquified hummingbird feeder. That "unsweetened" tea had enough sugar in it to put the city of Fredericksburg on insulin monitoring. Somewhere in that kitchen a man clearly believes every Southerner measures tea sweetness by whether the spoon can stand upright in the cup. Then came the fries. Lord help us. These were pale, limp crinkle fries that looked less "fresh fried" and more "recently thawed beside a space heater." Not a hint of crispness. No golden-brown glory. Just soft potato strips lying in the tray like they had accepted defeat long before reaching the fryer. The chicken itself? Tiny little one-inch strips hiding under enough crunchy batter to qualify as exterior siding. Crispy, yes. Generous, no. More breading than bird. The Texas toast arrived soggy enough to make you wonder if it had been steamed instead of toasted. Calling that "Texas toast" is an insult to a state that once fought a war over standards. The lone survivor in this culinary rodeo was the sauce. That special sauce is carrying the entire franchise on its back like a weary mule climbing Pike's Peak. I finally asked my grandson if he had eaten there before. He admitted he had not. He'd simply been told it was great and figured nobody could really mess up chicken fingers and fries. Well. Humanity continues to innovate. Strike Raising Cane's from the regular rotation unless it is 2:00 in the morning, every other restaurant in Virginia is dark, and your soul is screaming for fried chicken through the fog of poor decisions.

Unfortunately his support let him down. I ordered 2 piece roasted chicken and the server brought me fried after Jeremy confirmed they had what I wanted ready. My wife was also w me and was given fried vs roasted but she wanted dark meat. Jeremy asked if I was ok waiting 15 minutes for fresh roasted chicken which I agreed as my wife had to wait 5 for her meal to come correctly. To compensate he gave us a dessert and extra breast (I ordered white meat) when my meal came out. As promised 2 hot juicy breasts and a wing. I literally told my wife after the first bite the chicken was done perfectly. A if it was done cooking seconds after completely done. Well not quite. There was more cooking that needed to be done after my second cut into the breast. No worries, I had two breast and so I cut sliced the other and the juices flowed out and I thought yes the got this right....... Nope. I cut deeper and it wasn't done either. I told Jeremy I just wanted a refund at this point which he gladly gave me and apologized continuously. Sadly, when I looked at my wife's chicken compared to mine, it was quite easy to tell hers was not that fresh. It looked dry and maybe reheated.
