I got food poisoning for the first time in my life at this Panda Express. I was unable to do anything but stay in the bathroom for almost 48 hours. I will not be returning, which is so sad because that was my favorite fast Chinese food. The staff was too busy playing and flirting with one another they under cooked the chicken. If you are ordering online you might want to make sure they have the food ahead of time. We ordered two fried rice with our meals waited the twenty minutes and drove over there and was told that there was an hour wait for the fried rice. They had a contact number for us but didn't even have the common courtesy to call and tell us this. read more

I used to eat lots of fast food and Panda Express was always a favorite of mine. I had weight loss surgery about 5 years ago and my eating out had slowed considerably due to not being able to eat a lot of food at a time. Well today I thought I would stop and get Panda Express and was very disappointed in the change. For one thing it was pricey but I was like okay well you get good sized portions as I recall. Then he handed me the food and I was thinking what the heck... when I opened it the to go tray is quite small and the portion size was lacking!!! You might think I would think this a good thing because of my surgery but for nearly 11.00 I would expect to get a fork, a cookie and a decent sized serving. A letdown when I could have went to any other place and got a better value for 11.00. Come on you think your customer aren't going to notice being cheated? My husband and I visited this restaurant for lunch. Our server Yubel G. greeted us as we walked in the door. She was courteous and asked if we wanted to sample any entree. After we sampled an entree, she explained that we could get a side of rice, brown or white steamed, and noodle or vegetables. I asked if I could have half brown rice and half vegetables and she served half of both sides. She was very respectful and patient as we made our selections and checked out. The food was excellent, the tables and counters in the restaurant was clean and the fountain area was well stocked. We definitely will visit this Panda Express again! read more

For what it is, it was just okay. Brilliant idea though, close the drive thru when short staffed. I had to go inside, in the rain to get food. People were trying, everyone was trying. First they were a couple minutes late opening up their store, then they tell us they don't have anything made. 30 min later, my husband finally got fed up with them and went inside to see why it was taking so long. Everyone who walked into the store after us had food, while we were the FIRST to arrive still waiting for them to bring our order out. Absolutely disgusting. While we were there a kid choked on his food and got sick. The lady who works there was VERY rude. The poor man (I assume the dad of the kid) was trying to clean it up and the lady (loosely used) was yelling at him. I think her name was Erika. I used to love this place but it went downhill. This is another place that has bad customer service and they also get your order wrong. Portions have gotten smaller, ordered walnut shrimp and i received crumbs with hardly any shrimp. Called to complain and the manager said I had 3 days to get what they forgot to give me. 3 days?!?! I used to like this place quite a bit. If I was craving Chinese, I could just go through the drive-thru and pick some up. However, the last couple of times I've went, the food was just okay and make me feel sick afterwards. The food is all right though sometimes it's really salty or tastes like old grease. TRAPPED in the drive thru for 45 minutes to get some teriyaki chicken. Finally get to place my order and they don't have any so I have to wait 8 mins. Instead of having me pull up they make the long ass line of people trapped behind me wait too. I get my chicken and guess what... NO TERIYAKI SAUCE!!! We used to like this food. Today we got an orange chicken and chow mein bowl. The chicken was a tiny dried out piece of chicken surrounded by batter. It was truly awful. I spit out the first bite and then broke open other pieces. All bad. So I tried the veggie spring rolls. Not hot and tasted like it had some spoiled shrimp in it. I threw it all out. If I could give no stars I would. It took over 20 minutes in the drive thru to get my order. When I got to the window finally (keep in mind there were only 2 cars ahead of me in line), the cashier took my money and then I watched her go and handle the food, scooping it into containers. When I asked her if she had washed her hands after handling money before handling my food, she states she had not. I asked her if she though that was sanitary and she was very confused. I asked for my food to be remade and another woman came to the window and stated it was standard practice. I tried to call and speak to the manager and the 2nd woman at the window was the manager. She made a ton of excuses, understaffed, training videos, does not know the rules, confused about what they should do and my favorite was she stated other customers had complained as well and she directs everyone to respond to the feedback on the receipt. As customers we were told we can't get teriyaki chicken because they don't have anymore for the day (an hour before closing) and the store does have more but it's for the customers for tomorrow?!?! The extreme slow service and lack of efficiency reflects poor management. I'm not the one to write a review, but it's the slowest fast food you will ever experience. Been there a hand full of times, never again. Save yourself the wait and drive to multiple restaurants for each of your family members no matter where in town as it would be faster than this Panda. Nija L was an awesome associate! She was attentive right away, offered me a sample, and packaged my food. She also suggested several items and I obliged. She is an exceptional employee and an asset to your company. My food was fresh and hot. The Shanghai Beef was tender and the Teriyaki chicken was moist. I work here at Panda Express and I have to say reading these comments are quite interesting. Working here takes more of a toll on the employee than many may imagine. I can say the stress of working here has caused my annoyance to show through my customer service skills in which I am not proud of. It's hard to stay calm while someone is giving off so much hateful energy towards you. Panda Express is very popular and we do apologize to our customers for being human 24/7. As far as the food here goes, before I started working here I hated Panda. Now that I see we take extreme measures to keep everything sanitary to pass inspection every year in which Panda Express has done, I like it. It is not real Chinese food no it is a fast food place. Like a previous viewer had mentioned, that if there was less than a one star rating, that is what this "restaurant" would be receiving. My experiences here have been deplorable. While I was living in South Florida, I regularly attended a Panda Express (PE) and really enjoyed the food-chain's menu and the choices it had to offer. The PE located here in Harker Heights, TX has been nothing short of a nightmare. Outside of a specific incident I'm going to discuss later in this review, let me start with the generic overall atmosphere/customer service. Whether I utilize the drive-through or actually sit and eat, the employees are extremely short and rude. Anytime I have asked a question regarding a menu option, the employee I was interacting with sighs and renders the most abrupt fruitless answer, almost as if answering the most basic question was a extremely difficult task. Different times I had chosen to sit-down and eat with my family, there has been sheer chaos happening around us. The employees use there establishment of employment as a make-shift daycare, Their children scurry tirelessly, slamming into tables, screaming at each other with no oversight from their parent. Now for the incident that occured. I had ordered Kung Pao chicken. The food that I had received had minimal ammounts of meat, it was mostly vegetables, with few chicken crumbs in the container. I promptly called the establishment and brought the issue up to the manager. Who quickly apologized and said that I would be input into their mystery "log book" after asking for my full name, and that a free plate would be provided next time I'm there. Four days later I decide to claim my plate of food, additionally ordering entrees for the rest of my family. My wife is the one ordering, the employee she's interacting with, creepily comments on her height and proceeds to find the manager regarding the free-meal/log book issue. The manager plays completely dumb, talking over my wife and telling her to come back and speak to a seperate manager. She stormed out and purchased Chipotle (next-door) for our family instead. My friend and I were out and stopped by at Panda Express a little bit early. So we sat down and waited. Soon as 10:30 AM or so hit, we walked by the door. Doors were still locked and that is the time they open. So we just stood there for a little bit and 6 minutes passed they finally unlocked the door. The worker Maribel, literally saw us stand by the door and didn't even open the door for us. Just unlocked it and walked away. SO RUDE. Then we got our food, I ordered a fountain drink and I went to get my drink. I got fruit punch and there was SO many ants in my drink! I even took a sip, that is how I saw the ANTS. I spilled out my drink and there was ants everywhere. I quickly told the worker Maribel and she said that it doesn't work and that happens every morning... EVERY MORNING? That is disgusting. She offered to get me a drink from the drive thru and when she brought it to me, I told her I don't see a sign that says "out-of-order", she then said she was going to get one. She didn't even apologize and was just so rude about it. I was very upset that they know this happens every morning which is totally not ok but yet she still handed me a cup so I can get a fountain drink. Didn't even warn me. No one apologize to me and they acted like this was no big deal, specifically this MARIBEL woman. NEVER AGAIN WILL I EAT AT THIS PANDA EXPRESS. SO DISGUSTING.
