    Broccoli Beef

I have never been the type to ever complain about food but today really had me over the edge. Yes this is BROCCOLI BEEF but seriously do better. There were not even 3 full pieces of beef. The broccoli wasn't even fresh , the rice was hard and you could tell it wasn't freshly made either. The rice ain't even a big deal, I ain't asking for the whole damn cow either but please do better. This picture was as soon as I got back to work and opened the plate.

Heres whats left, mostly inedible. Hard cold rice. Dry chicken. Undercooked squash.

Barely lukewarm dry steamed white rice. When it clicks against a plastic fork, that's yuck. Squash in the mushroom chicken was hard and undercooked. The chicken was served dry, though I asked twice for sauce, had to go in and get sauce. They obviously don't know how to cut grilled chicken, the pieces aren't supposed to be over an inch wide, seriously? It's basics. They also read my order back wrong like 3 times. It was white rice with mushroom chicken and grilled teriyaki chicken with sauce. Also didnt taste quite right, ive ordered this a lot at other locations. Not complicated.

these stupid ass people at panda express messed up my order.I was starving so much i could've bit someones arm off,so i ordered panda express.I ordered rice, orange chicken, and noodles.A very simple order, apparently not.The stupid ass bitches at panda express decided to mess up my order and give me noodles, broccoli, and beef. How shitty was your day that you decided to mess up my fucking order AND RUIN MY DAY??my heart shattered when i opened up my food and saw beef and broccoli,i'm tearing up just writing this. Please rethink your fucking life decisions and go choke on your dry ass orange chicken

Went through the drive through and ordered the Firecracker shrimp as i can only have seafood on this Lenten Friday. Got back to work and they gave me the wrong order! It appears to be Bejing Beef...and something else.. can't leave now..ugh

    That's all :(

:( these two small pieces of beef is all I got this afternoon from this Panda Express. Came home to find out so much broccoli and almost none beef . Sad day . I guess next time I will have to make sure I tell them I do want some beef with the broccoli . If I ever go back there again that is !

The second time I visited, I had the Hong Shao Rou with mushrooms (Braised Pork Belly) to-go, not a huge fan of takeout and this didn't disappoint and it was good. The takeout team member was pleasant enough. They feature an open kitchen with two tops closer to the wall/glass and larger tables more toward the middle of the restaurant. From the outside it features the traditional Chinese architecture with western building base. I look forward to yaksying the rest of the menu this year.

But the inconsistency has been an issue for me, and the flavors aren't as good as they once were. Dishes I regularly ordered like Kung Pao Chicken, Mongolian Beef, Japanese Egg Tofu, and Honey Walnut Shrimp haven't stood out as much as of lately. Dishes like Szechuan Spicy Chicken is still one of my favorite, and Garlic Snow Pea Leaves are delicious when in season. Bamboo House still holds its place as great spot for group dining. The portion is generous, prices are fair, and overall a solid restaurant that's still worth recommending.

Great atmosphere. Everything was presented beautifully. And it was reasonably priced given 2025 dollars. The food is extremely good with authentic oriental spices and flavors. All the fish was fresh and tender. The spicy tuna Naruto was perfectly rolled and flavored. Its soy based dipping sauce was delicious. The Sakura Combo (sushi and sashimi) had beautiful slices of tuna, salmon, and yellowtail. The rice to fish ratio was perfect. Not too much rice ... Not too little rice ... Just right. Chinese meals are served with a moderate sized bowl of rice (brown, white, or fried). Again, not over the top and enough for the meal. The Mongolian Triple Delight was not spicy so we requested some hot oil. All in all an amazing addition to the community. Kudos and keep up the great work!

I had the Hibachi Chicken dinner , the freshness was there but could of used more butter & sauce. The chicken katsu sushi was better, the flavor & ingredients were a good combination. Staff was attentive & friendly and prices were economical

I was looking for not only good quality food with my favorite Chinese dishes, but good service too. I found a restaurant in Valley Ranch, but the manager is just awful. Here at JJ's Diner that is not the case. We ordered a few different things: the Mongolian beef lo mein, egg roll, wonton soup, orange chicken and hot jasmin tea. Everything was delicious - ESPECIALLY the beef lo mein. This alone made me want to be glutinous. The orange chicken was good too and surprisingly meaty. You get large chunks of chicken that's well flavored in the orange sauce and not too bready. Our server was attention and polite. The hot tea was served in a cute tea kettle and rid enough for a two or so people. I'll be glad to go back SOON.

It wasn't perfect. But I gave them an extra star for the effort…read more First off I like how they have wonton crunchies on the table ready for you to eat when you sit down. They're spiced and delicious. I thought they'd be stale since every table literally had a bowl. But they weren't. I also loved how they brought out a bowl of hot and sour soup while looking at the menu. Really nice touch. They were out of a number of items. I saw they had green takeaway bags like Mi Mi's does but when we asked for a to go box they only brought out ordinary plastic bags. A bit disappointed there. But it's fine. The Dan Dan noodles is C3 (Spicy Noodles with Sesame Sauce Contain Peanuts /S CP). It looked so colorful online that I questioned whether it would taste any good. But it actually was quite tasty. It's served on a plate and not a bowl. The Taiwanese salt and pepper chicken D7 was pretty good as was the Crab Rangoon. $8 for 6 pieces was cheaper than MiMi and actually I like the taste better. The wonton was crunchier and not as thick as MiMi's. We also got the C2 Huainan beef noodle soup. Primarily because it was one of the few soups not labeled as spicy. It wasn't bad. We wanted to take it home and the waitress just gave us one of those takeout purse boxes. Pretty sure it would've soaked right through. So I asked and they actually do have plastic soup containers too. I really love the decor as well. It just looks like a hodgepodge of knick knacks collected including a British telephone booth of all things. My favorite are the many sakura trees.

They are not related to another similar sounding restaurant Nee Hao, over near the airport. Their layout is L shaped once inside and fairly bright compared to old school Chinese restaurants with darker floors and interiors. I felt the interior is very mixmatched with a tropical theme in one area, a replica british telephone booth in another area, a room decorated in numerous flowers, and restrooms with distressed wood looking porcelain giving off a Texas country vibe. The space does have high ceilings, which is fairly unique for a casual Chinese restaurant. The menu contains 2 parts, their standard menu and a separate single-page combo menu. Each combo which is a few dollars more than the entree and comes with iced tea, a sesame ball, a fried chicken wing, crispy spring roll, a soup and crispy wonton chips. Wow, they really include a lot for just a few dollars more. Most of the entrees are your typical Americanized Chinese dishes but a few are more authentic, like the 3 different fish filled dishes and the black pepper chicken cutlet. Their regular menu has hot pot, some Sichuan cuisine appetizers, beef noodle dishes, Taiwanese dishes, veggies, a fried section, and a fried rice and noodle section. Some of the more interesting dishes include a swan-shaped durian pastry, brown sugar sticky rice cake, and 2 different stir-fried crawfish dishes. I went with the tried and true Mongolian beef combo. This turned out to be one of the best Mongolian beef dishes I've ever had. It gets an 8 as far as presentation and is very colorful. It comes with cilantro and diced green onions, which you dont see very often on this dish. The sauce, which is normally a thick brown, is a lighter chili oil here instead and tastes like a dish you would eat at the more authentic Chinese restaurants in Bellaire area. The beef is very tender and melts in your mouth. I was unfortunately not a fan of the chicken wing or the vegetarian spring roll. Maybe it was the oil they fry them in.....not sure. Service here is pretty good as well. My iced tea was refilled a few times as needed. I will say their TV's were on the fritz during my visit amd should be checked. One had no signal and another above my table was frozen on a children's program.
