RUDE EMPLOYEES AND MANAGERS, DO NOT EAT HERE Once I walked in with my wife we saw trash on the floor, dirty tables with no one in sight. We went to go order food and the workers were talking to another, they did not greet us or have a pleasant environment. Rick was the one who served us, he had a different uniform on so I assumed he was the manager. His attitude was awful, he rudely asked what did I want with a condescending tone, seeming if I interrupted him, I was able to get my order in with hints of rude remarks. I have never been the type to ever complain about food but today really had me over the edge. Yes this is BROCCOLI BEEF but seriously do better. There were not even 3 full pieces of beef. Panda express near Northpark and 69 N. is one of the best and fastest Chinese restaurants available. Their prices are extremely reasonable, their portions are very large. They're always giving back to children's charities through added donations and round ups. The facility is always very clean, very well kept up, and has just the right amount of ambient music and noise so that its not distracting if you are reading or having a conversation. This panda express has somethings right and other ways they're awful. Starting with AC; why is it 90 degrees in here? Too cheap to run the AC? I get the windows and whatnot but if you want customers your restaurant should be comfortable for the patrons. Order station with register and shield in entry, where a masked adorned employee will promptly take your order and answer questions, professionally I might add. So, I give them a shot for a bowl of Teriyaki Chicken and Chow Mein. Served promptly, correctly, fresh for take-out. Sanitation improvement: teriyaki and other sauces now in sealed packets rather than dispensing cups and lids. First of all, every employee at this particular location has an attitude. Like they are the food nazis or something. Why is it 1 star is always the lowest rating? This location did not earn that. I have been a customer of Panda Express for many years but this was the worst experience I have ever had with one of their locations. I was traveling on Saturday Aug 3 so I stopped at the Kingwood, TX location at 9:25 pm (close at 10) They only had 3 regular entrees and 1 premium entree available, all looked dried up, very dry looking fried rice and no noodles. I asked the young lady if they would cook other food and was told that they had stopped cooking for the night. My visit to this store was more than 35 minutes prior to closing on a Saturday night. How embarrassing for y'all that this is the customer service at this location. I will not return to this location and will go out of my way to find another Panda Express in the future. Following visit I submitted this information to Panda Express feedback and got an email that said "We appreciate and value your feedback. If your feedback requires a response, a Panda Guest Care representative will respond to your email within 2 - 3 business days." Email sent Aug 5 today is Aug 11. Embarrassing for Panda all the way around. I could have avoided this from reading the other reviews. Just don't waste time on this one. read more

On 6/13/19 I visited this location and ordered several meals through the drive thru. One of the meals was greatly messed up. Items were wrong, and some items were missing all together. After getting home and realizing the mistakes I called to let them know. The manager I spoke with apologized greatly, took down my name, and told me to come back in at my earliest convenience for a free meal, just to bring my receipt. So on 6/15/19 I did just that. Again I ordered several meals, prepared to pay the difference. I informed the employee about what I was told. He looked my name up in the log. He couldn't find it. I asked to speak with the manager. That went no where as well. They kept offering me free orange chicken (which wasn't what I had even ordered before) and kept telling me that they didn't see my name so they couldn't honor it. I asked to speak to someone higher up because I knew I had called this location. My phone records prove it. The other manager comes out to talk to me. He basically calls me a liar and says that his employees all know how to use the log and he can ensure me that they wouldn't have not written down my name. And again (for the 6th time) offers me free orange chicken -which wasn't what they had even messed up on! I give up and drive off. And the manager yells "Fuck You!". I'm going to post this review on every site I can until the manager is held accountable. This was unacceptable. To not believe your customers, call them a liar, curse, etc. And meanwhile my food was already served. They had to throw it all away. They wasted all that food (food=product=money) over not honoring 1 free meal. read more

The customer service at this Panda Express location is TERRIBLE!!! I pulled up to the drive through, no cars in front of me, no cars behind me and a female employee asked me what I would like to order. I asked her to give me just a minute and when I started placing my order she would talk real fast and I felt very much like I was being rushed. It was obvious she was in a hurry. For what, I don't know because like I said, there were no other vehicles in the line. Just as I was asking the drive thru employee if she was in a hurry, a car pulled up behind me. The employee stated that she was. I told her a car had JUST pulled up behind me and she said "We have a time schedule to adhere to". When I got to the window I asked her, "What is more important? Your customers or your time schedule?" The employee stated that their time schedule was more important! This REALLY shocked me that an employee, from ANY place, would bluntly say that their time schedule was more important to them than providing good customer service! I asked her if I could speak with the manager and the manager said, "Well, I'm sorry you felt rushed but when a customer is having a hard time deciding, we will normally ask them to pull off to the side or something because we need to get them through the line within a 2 min time period." I told the Manager "I wasn't HAVING a hard time and there were no cars behind me!" And he replied "Well I'm sorry you felt rushed BUT we have a time schedule to adhere to". Then he looked down at the food sitting on the counter next to him and asked, "Is this your food?" I said, "I have no idea" and he said , "Well, did you order a plate???" and I said, "Yes I did and I WILL speak to the Regional Mgr about your poor customer service and your employee's." I saw there was no sweet and sour sauce for my egg roll so I said, "Did you put sweet and sour sauce in here for the egg roll?" And the manager said, "We stopped putting condiments in the bag unless a customer asks for them. And you can tell the Regional Mgr about that too if you want." I could not BELIEVE how rude they were! And how it was so clear that they did not have a care in the world about making sure their customers felt appreciated or important. Just very very poor customer service. Love it here. I go through times where I have serious panda cravings. I'm a small person so I get the bowl with orange chicken and fried rice and the proportion is perfect. Bad reviews kept us from trying this place. Having dined there and sampling 6 of their dishes, I now suspect some of the bad reviews either reflect a rough opening of this newer location or are phony ones written by competitors. Three of us dined there today. Place was clean and neat. I have eaten at a half-dozen other Panda Express locations in 3 states. This one was the best food so far. Here are some reasons why: - the orange chicken was tasty, but had less red pepper than some so not too spicy for me. - the chow main contained more vegetables than at other locations and they had not been over-cooked so it actually tasted like chow main and not just noodles. - they don't cut up the grilled chicken for the teriyaki until you order it . . . so it is still juicy and not dry like at some places. (For the reviewer who complained about no teriyaki sauce - all you have to do is ask and they happily give you all you want). - green beans and the broccoli served with their chicken and beef dishes were still crispy and fresh tasting. This place has a real advantage over some nearby Chinese restaurants- where you mostly get rice or noodles with a single entree - because here you can easily get three or four different of the main dishes - so it works like a "family style" arrangement even if you are dining alone.
