I am a longtime fan of Capriotti's . I usually go to the West Flamingo and Decatur location , but they close at 8pm so I came here since they close at 9pm . Sometimes locations matter and it did on this occasion . I was a little disappointed , but not a lot . I got a 18 inch Capastrami to take home and share . The lady at the grill was nice and I always get a small container of extra Russian which she gladly gave me . The gentleman at the register was okay also and told me they had only received my order from the app a few minutes ago and it was almost done . When I got home the first thing I noticed it was cut in half . The other location always cuts in thirds , no big deal , I just cut them up myself to even it out for 3 people . The bread was nice and fluffy , plenty of meat , and coleslaw . Now as far as the Russian Dressing there was barely any on the sandwich ! The other location puts plenty on it . I am so glad I asked for an extra small container . I usually only need a little , but we used all of it on each of our sandwiches . Overall we love Capriotti's for their Capastami and Chicken Cheese Steak Sandwiches . I get a Bobble once or twice a year . I most likely will not come back to this location since the West Flamingo and Decatur is closer to us . read more

During the holidays, we were still working. Everybody agreed on sandwiches. Last minute I called and asked for the large catering platter. This is for cold sandwiches of my choice and the mayonnaise, mustard, pickles, spicy relish, plate, napkins, and utensils. Even though they had a bunch of catering that day that were smart enough to order ahead of time, I was accommodated and treated kindly. Of course I tipped well as should be the standard for others. Lady working there in her 50's with a heavy accent is very rude and extremely unprofessional. She yelled at me at the top of her lungs saying she made more money then me and that I can leave and never come back. I never raised my voice or called her any names. She.became more irate when I explained that she was very unprofessional and rude. Will be contacting the owners and foing to corporate to file complaints. This location is tiny (less than ten tables, not counting the bar), but service is good. We all had sandwiches. I've been a fan since the '90s. I love the capastrami and the bobbie. I've had the philly cheese steaks too (you can customize by adding sweet peppers, hot peppers, and mushrooms). We like to get the large sandwich to split and have some for later (it's a generous size). The temperature inside the restaurant was freezing, but maybe our table was underneath a vent. My sandwich was wrong - it was supposed to vegetarian and wasn't. The place smelled inside. The staff had long hair with no hair net and used offensive language to each other in the back while cooking. This is the worst experience in a Capriott's in Las Vegas I have ever had. read more

Customer service was okay, order the classic cheese steak with it being my first time ordering the guy never mentioned adding hot and sweet peppers to the order. When asking if he could add it he said we can put it on the side I said it would taste the same...... I had to ask if they could remake the whole order he said yes. But as someone who works for customer service should always try their best to please their customer and make sure they leave happy without the customer asking... Just had the worst customer service! I will go out of my way to avoid this location! The two employees working at first didn't even look up or acknowledge us for several minutes after entering. The one nasty girl just pointed when we asked where to order. She was rude, unfriendly and shouldn't work at a place where she has to help people. The "manager" came out from the back and assisted an older, handicapped, disabled man that entered way after we placed our order and he was helped and sent on his way before we got our 1 sandwich. I know times are tough and it's hard to find good help BUT these are not the right people. I finally asked where our sandwich was after standing there waiting for 20 minutes and the sandwich was made and ready to bag up but the nasty girl just let it sit there!! Let's start here! When you go to a Sandwich shop in Las Vegas most of us are from back East and we appreciate that you guys make real sandwiches that's first. When I walk into a f****** Sandwich shop I want someone to at least say hello not only do these people who you have working for you at this location not say hello they look absolutely miserable. I actually contemplated why they look so measurable and I thought well they probably want tips. Well guess what if you want tips Google what that means to ensure proper service but we used to come to this location we used to be greeted by young man who are so fun and into it and like hey what's going on what do you wanna eat I used to tip these guys 20 bucks every time I came here. Guess what that's over you'll need to get it together however owns this shop pay people more.. Tell them how important it is for customer service tell them to prove themselves and they will see that they will make much more than their hourly. A pleasant surprise!! We tried Cap's French dip sandwich and loved the taste. I was wary of the Wagu claim and true to their claim it was very tasty and chewed like butter. I dipped the sandwich the beef stock and the bread greedily married it's juice. It's a really good meal. Hope they keep it and place it on it's permanent menu. read more

Food - I ordered the "take 2" half salad, half sandwich combo. For the sandwich I ordered the capistrami (I told them no cheese and Russian dressing on the side) and for the salad I got the Balsamic chicken. I watched them make the sandwich wrong. But they fixed it before they gave it to me. The salad was another story. I ate my sandwich first and it was fine. When I got to my salad, the chicken was still FROZEN! I immediately showed the cashier and she was not apologetic whatsoever. Because I already ate my sandwich, i couldn't exactly ask for a refund. So I told her to remake the salad with no chicken. When I got the second salad, the walnuts on it still seemed cold. I guess better than raw chicken. Service- terrible. I was not expecting 5 star service but a "hello" or a smile never killed anyone. I got to come to Vegas for work and when I asked the locals for a good sandwich ship two people simultaneously recommended this place. I originally ordered the Capastrami but they were all sold out. When stuff sells out, you know the sandwich is about to be fuego. The lady recommended the Cheese steak but I wasn't in the mood for beef so I went with the Chicken Cheese Steak, then the lady in the back walked out to ask if I wanted hot or sweet peppers and I said "I don't care, you're the artist". She smiled through her mask and then said "give 10-15 min". When I got my sandwich back, the aroma was penetrating the paper bag. It smelled like cheesy heaven. Was a huge fan of Capriotti's roast beef sandwich forever but last time I went and took it home only to open it and see it just deli roast beef. They used to make it and it was real shredded roast beef. It was terrible and I called to ask. Sure enough they changed their roast beef. Food is solid as I hope it always will be. Review in regards to the customer service. A few times my order was incorrect. This particular occasion, it started out okay. I had ordered 4 sandwiches online to avoid the wait, but it looked like the staff was slammed. I had to wait an additional 10/15 minutes. I got my sandwiches, and decided to check them. Two of my sandwiches did not have a marking on them. I requested the slaw and sauce of the capastrami to be on the side, and neither one were in the bag. I mentioned it to the cashier, and she was unsure so she asked the others which was which. One gentleman took 3 of the sandwiches, and reopened all of them. From what I could see my order was made incorrectly. He fixed it with a not so happy demeanor thus a star deducted. Oh well, I am just glad he fixed it. read more

First of all Capriotti's is my favorite sandwich in town hands down! Today I ordered sandwiches for everyone on staff over the phone and the guy who answered was incredibly nice and helpful! When I got there they were already done and bagged up ready for me to go! The service was so great! The reason for the yelp however is the above and beyond help I got receiving my receipt which I got as I walked out but could not find it after I left! I must have dropped it! I called the store and Tim said he would print a new one and text it to me! Which he did quickly. I got home later that night and realized it do not have the barcode to get my points so I texted Tim on the off chance he was still there and could print one with the barcode. (Customers like me are so annoying!) He was already home but he called the store and figured it out and sent it to me! Thanks Tim! That's going above and beyond for a customer!!
