    Messed up sandwich

Just paid $25 on Uber Eats for a grilled Italian, I requested and paid extra for x cheese, add mushrooms and mayo. Which they decided not to do any of it, but added a shit ton of pickles to a sandwich that does have pickles. Which sucks because I order from this place often, definitely won't be back to this location again. Next time maybe read the order that the paying customer asked for.

Great sandwiches that are very filling. I enjoy the Bobbie that tastes like Thanksgiving. It comes with turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, and mayo. The bread is nice and soft and keeps everything together very well. My next favorite sandwich is a cheesesteak with sweet peppers and double American cheese. Sandwiches are made with a smile and they are pretty fast putting them together.

I am a longtime fan of Capriotti's . I usually go to the West Flamingo and Decatur location , but they close at 8pm so I came here since they close at 9pm . Sometimes locations matter and it did on this occasion . I was a little disappointed , but not a lot . I got a 18 inch Capastrami to take home and share . The lady at the grill was nice and I always get a small container of extra Russian which she gladly gave me . The gentleman at the register was okay also and told me they had only received my order from the app a few minutes ago and it was almost done . When I got home the first thing I noticed it was cut in half . The other location always cuts in thirds , no big deal , I just cut them up myself to even it out for 3 people . The bread was nice and fluffy , plenty of meat , and coleslaw . Now as far as the Russian Dressing there was barely any on the sandwich ! The other location puts plenty on it . I am so glad I asked for an extra small container . I usually only need a little , but we used all of it on each of our sandwiches . Overall we love Capriotti's for their Capastami and Chicken Cheese Steak Sandwiches . I get a Bobble once or twice a year . I most likely will not come back to this location since the West Flamingo and Decatur is closer to us .

This location is tiny (less than ten tables, not counting the bar), but service is good. We all had sandwiches. I've been a fan since the '90s. I love the capastrami and the bobbie. I've had the philly cheese steaks too (you can customize by adding sweet peppers, hot peppers, and mushrooms). We like to get the large sandwich to split and have some for later (it's a generous size). The temperature inside the restaurant was freezing, but maybe our table was underneath a vent. There were a few other diners inside. There were a couple of sandwich makers. Clean little location.

    Entertaining!

2nd time in a row I was underwhelmed by Capriotti's. Not the sandwich shop it once was. Not worth the price.

We went in…read moreat about 5pm on Friday and were seated right away (rare in the arts district) and noted the ambiance was relaxed and welcoming. Much better than Esther's in my opinion. All the staff was super friendly and our server proved really good service. We had wine by the glass and the whipped Brie, mushrooms, steak, and split the burger. Way too much food considering everything was fantastic! Luckily we boxed the steak and reheated perfectly the next day. Wine was fabulous, especially the Alberino. Looking forward to coming back and trying more on the menu!

This appears to be a popular spot for dinner. There is plenty of seating, but tables and chairs are…read moretoo close together and it felt so crammed. I shouldn't have to clearly hear conversations that are happening to the tables next to us. It was definitely a squeeze getting in and out of the tables without interrupting the table next to you. Our server recommended getting two plates per person. The menu isn't designed to have appetizers or entrees per se, so this menu seemed like it's kind of a tapas place or kind of not? If the plates aren't appetizers or entrees and they're more shareable, then why would we only get 3 pork ribs pieces instead of 4? The pork ribs had great flavor. it was crispy, tender, and fall off the bone at the same time, but it would've been better if they added one more pork rib bone instead of 3. The whipped brie with blackberry and honey was a bit disappointing. Even after mixing the whipped brie and with the blackberries, there were barely any fruit or honey flavor. All I tasted was salt. The brie was too salty with no taste of fruit or honey. Moreover, the brie came with 2 small pieces of toast, cut into 4 pieces. There was definitely more brie than toast, so we requested additional brioche toast. Of course we got charged extra for the toast. I just think the brie to toast ratio should be better. It seemed like the plate was 85% brie and 15% toast. How are we supposed to eat the rest of the brie when the toast provided is gone? I did not enjoy more brie over brioche ratio. We also got the burger and trout. Both shareable portions. The burger tasted like a slightly elevated Big Mac but saltier. Trout was good and cooked seared with a medium rare center. Flavor wise, the trout and pork ribs were my favorite. Also, the smokin petal cocktail was perfect. Overall, the experience here was just okay.

Why isn't this establishment a Michelin starred restaurant?…read more The service is impeccable. The surroundings and staff are pleasant. We came here for a celebratory birthday for a friend and they treated us correct. Everyone had the filet and it melted as soon as we put the knife on it. I woke up to what really is a medium well steak. Not too dry and borderline a little red but it was moist. Juan Carlos took great care of us. Unfortunately they do t honor military discount.

This place is......not good. I'm honestly blown away by some of the reviews. The food, the service, the vibe - it was all lacking. I eat at a lot of steakhouses, so I may have higher expectations than the average diner. Service: - Our server was very friendly, but forgot about us the entire back half of our meal (we even skipped ordering dessert because we were completely forgotten about and sat there for so long after finishing dinner). - He was not well versed in handling wine (which IMO in unacceptable for an "award winning steakhouse"). He handled the wine glasses by the bowl instead of the stem and poured extremely large servings, about 4 oversized glasses from a single bottle. Food: - The steak tartare was very thick, large chunks instead of a classic fine mince. It was served with tasteless bread that had heavy black grill marks on it. Would never order again. - The calamari and brussels were both tasty and fine. - My NY strip was so full of tendons that I couldn't even chew through it some of it. I can't remember the last time I actually left a piece of steak on my plate from a dinner. - We were ordered a flight of steak sauces and they were spread all over the table with no explanation of what was what. - As for sides, we ordered mash, mac and cheese, broccolini and cauliflower....all very average. Vibe: - completely lacked ambiance. The lighting was bright, there was no background music, and it felt more like a casual neighborhood diner than a place you'd expect to enjoy a nice steak dinner. Unfortunately, this visit reminded me why it had been years since my last visit. Between the average food, inconsistent service, and lackluster atmosphere, I left genuinely wondering how this restaurant has earned such high ratings. Summerlin has far too many incredible restaurants to justify another visit, and for a steakhouse, I'd choose T-Bones or Harlo every time.

We opted for a booth and ordered our food, I got the famous breakfast while my wife ordered the eggs Benedict with smoked salmon and we got 2 mimosas (pineapple and cranberry). Everything was exceptional, the skordalia dip that came with my breakfast were delicious, well seasoned, and the epi bread was fluffy and coated in crunchy sesame seeds. The hollandaise that came on the Benedict was perfect, not too salty, and it complimented the rest of the Benedict perfectly. After enjoying our food for a bit, a group sat next to us consisting of 2 women and 2 very young toddlers. I knew it was going to be bad by the way the toddler wandered around the few tables across the aisle, ultimately blocking our server from bringing us our food for a bit. The baby then began to scream its head off and did not stop as the ladies tried to quiet it down. I did not say anything to them as I know it is an embarrassing situation to be in to have a stranger critique your parenting style. We finished up the meal (the baby was still screaming at this point) and when our server noticed we had been giving each other That Look™, she came back and the first thing she said was "I'm so sorry about that," and offered to move us to the enclosed dining area to enjoy our dessert and escape the ruckus. The manager then offered us 2 more mimosas as an apology for being sat next to a loud table. Overall, the food was delicious, the was atmosphere nice, and the staff did a wonderful job controlling a situation without humiliating the guests who had caused it. One thing of note is that, as I'm sure this is meant to be a more casual dining experience, you should not be expecting super fast service. This is a place to enjoy the breeze and freshly prepared food, so there is more of a relaxed attitude. If you're into that and aren't in a rush to leave, I would absolutely recommend this cafe.
