This was truly my first time ever eating from Panda Express. We have one that has not opened yet literally around the corner from us so I thought to give this place a try. My husband has had it from the location by his job so it was not new for him. We went in and ordered the staff are really nice just super upbeat and very personable this was appreciated. We ordered to take out and I can say I enjoyed the food here except the super greens the bok choy needed to be cooked more. I could not chew the leaves otherwise the Beef and Broccoli, and their new (I took a chance) Cantonese Beef Brisket was very good. We went at 7pm on New Years Eve. They had a TON of online orders and still greeted us when we walked in, the food was fresh and hot and the cash register employee was very friendly and personable. I usually don't write reviews on chain restaurants/fast food places, but this place deserves it. Typically, I order the food through their app and I just pick it up. They've always given me large proportions. The workers there have always been friendly and quick to help. The last time I was there though, I was greeted by their manager Michael and he is the one that made me want to write this review. He greeted us, chatted with us, and even offered us drinks while we were standing there waiting for our food. 5 stars to this man alone! The food always hits the spot for me. A few of my favorites are the Honey Walnut Shrimp and their Beijing Beef. Can't go wrong with these two choices. Panda Express typically hires well, trains well, and this location is no different. Ok very surprised by this location. The last Panda Express I went to was in Pinellas Park while living in Florida. The PP location gave the smallest portions! Not here! The plate portions were good amount. They gave better portions here and the taste was packed with flavor. The orange chicken was amazing with a nice crunch, a bit of spiciness and zing! The beef and broccoli was good, broccoli was perfectly prepped nice and crispy! The beef was tender and delicious! Fried rice was average yet happy it wasn't greasy like most places make. The lady took our order very slowly, so at first we thought "great, get the food ready as we order it." No. We were wrong. Turns out she was - actually I don't know what she doing. She didn't write it down because she didn't get our orders correctly when she read them back to us. She wasn't getting our plates ready and she wasn't ringing us up. My first question is, why did it take so long? What were you doing? She went on to repeat our order incorrectly. At this point, my husband and I were worried that some part of our order was bound to come out wrong. After the "struggle" and paying, we were told to wait. I think we waited about 10 minutes for them to bring out our food. Thankfully we got everything we ordered. I enjoyed my dish, however I think the chow mein was a bit undercooked. Condiments and bottle drinks are stocked and organized. The food is prepared fresh and set on display over warmers, kind of like a buffet. The music playing was a soft instrumental type consisting of string and percussion instruments. The staff here is very friendly and seemed extremely pleased to assist me with my order. They are well dressed, well mannered, and patient. The laid back atmosphere compared to a more formal Chinese restaurant is a nice change and is a great place for everyone.
