What a ridiculous location. I ordered a bowl with rice and 1 entree and a 2 item plate with noodles. I get home and what do I find?? I find my 2 item plate with a lot less food than the "less expensive" bowl I ordered for my wife. It's pretty pathetic that you can't hire competent employees that can fill a simple noodle and orange chicken plate.....but hey it's Oroville and competent employees are few and far between. Ordered some food Saturday night at 8:30 through door dash. I get a call at 9:10 from panda saying they can't complete my order they don't have enough food! Then door dash shows up to get my order that's not there! So door dash calls and says they can't do my order. Whatever so give me a refund! NOPE they place my order AGAIN and a second door dash person shows up to get my order and they are closed! Now they have charged my card TWICE! And two door dash people are out of getting paid! Now almost a week later and I still haven't been refunded for either orders! And panda offers me some old nasty food to make it right!! Horrible customer service!! read more

Should be renamed to Panda Not Express (open 10-ish, food isn't ready until 11) ... They supposedly "open" @ 10 am. Couple times I've came for brunch 5/10 minutes past 10 am & the doors into the restaurant were locked & no one has come to open them. I have been using the drive threw & every time whatever it is that I've wanted hasn't been ready & waited almost 10 minutes for my food at which time my lunch is pretty much over. If food is not going to be ready at 10 AM, Then shouldn't your employees arrive at 10 AM to cook the food and open at 10:30/11 o'clock to serve the food? read more

First time at a Panda Express. I've never bothered to go before because buffet-style Chinese restaurants tend to be deep fried and greasy and this did not disappoint on that account. Pretty much zero vegetarian options. I got chicken with green beans because it looked like the least greasy non-deep fried option besides kale and broccoli (yuck). The green beans were stringy and tough. The only good thing about it was the fortune cookies were tasty, but the fortunes were lame. At least I can say been there done that, exactly what I expected and no need to ever go back. This is a rather generic one size fits all Panda Express review, as I'm sure they are all about the same. This restaurant is such a hit or miss it's not even funny. Tonight I was especially disappointed. I ordered half and half and got mostly rice barley any chow mein. I also ordered the angus steak as one of my entrees and had to pay extra for it as usual which I usually have no problem with but this time it was basically all vegetables (only a half of a mushroom which is my favorite part) and little tiny pieces of steak. I've always been a fan of Panda Express and I was excited to have a Panda Express open up in Oroville, as I visit quite often. Sad to say but this restaurant left me HIGHLY disappointed. Picked up lunch around 2 pm. Got my order to go, to eat at home. About 15 minutes later, I opened my container and saw the worst looking food. Everything looked dry; the taste wasn't any better. I went back to the restaurant and talked to the woman who served me. She happened to be the manager. She told me that I had my food for about an hour now so that's why it's dry. She REFUSED to give me a refund. She offered to fix me another to go container. The food was STILL dry and pretty much tasteless. I had to douse my food in soy sauce, which I don't normally do, just to get it to taste a little decent and add some moisture to it. . What a major disappointment this place is. Hopefully, they work not only on their food but also their customer service. From what I've read, I'm not the only unhappy customer here. I know this isn't authentic Chinese food, but I like Panda Express and this particular one is NOT GOOD. read more

This place is terrible.. I just ordered some fried rice and Beijing beef and I got two cups of wk Bite rice with a table spoon of peas and maybe a teaspoon of chopped carrots. Cost was $7.95. Nice and clean, as one would expect from a new restaurant. Staff were friendly, enthusiastic, and hard-working - I hope they can keep it going. They could work on cleaning off tables more quickly during busy times - it seems like when things get busy, clearing/cleaning tables is low on their list of priorities. They could also work on training staff to get a better mix of ingredients when they scoop out the food. For example, one time I had a side of mixed vegetables and I got almost all broccoli (plus one piece of carrot and one piece of zucchini) - even though there were plenty of other types of vegetables left in the pot. read more

First time ever having Panda Express and I will go back. The Beijing Beef And teriyaki chicken were so good, not too spicy and lots of flavor. The chow mein was good, as was the beef and broccoli. I didn't try the rice but was told it was better then expected. I would not recommend coming to this location. I've tried it out two times now and both time there is always something missing.... you know like silver wear/napkins , fortune cookies , and not asking if we want any sauces to go with the food we ordered. They seem to close earlier than what is said online ( yes I know there is restrictions due to current pandemic) but their hours are always inconsistent so you never know if you can order what you really want , instead what they just have etc. For example : I asked if they had steamed veggies instead of rice for my bowl ... and they gave me the last serving of the work day - it's horrible , for someone who is trying to eat healthy , they give me the greasiest bottle of the barrel veggies - come on. I'm a restaurant manager , and these employees at this location always rush us , like we are the inconvenience here , even though we are paying customers that have already worked their hours of the day and came to enjoy dinner. The customer service with this location has always been pretty good. I get Panda quite often and have never had anything to complain about with the customer service. Today, I wasted my entire lunch waiting for over 20 minutes just to get to the order window. Wasted another 10 minutes waiting for the employee to take my order. I asked what was taking so long since it usually does not take this long. The employee's replied very rudely and stated she could not take an order and get food at the same time. I didn't bother replying to that answer. I gave her the order and she asked if I wanted to donate and I replied no and she said like they ALWAYS say, if order looks correct on the window, please drive forward. Nothing was on the screen so I said I don't see the order on the screen. I said you said if the order was correct on the screen to drive forward but I don't see my order on the screen...She yelled back, I didn't say that! I was just so caught off guard by her rudeness that I just drove up to the window. I was not going to bother arguing...once I drove up to the order window, this young girl says, we have the right to refuse service and we are not going to serve you today! Wow, just wow! So after wasting my entire lunch just waiting and getting verbally abused by this employee, I didn't even get food! This is the rudest employee and I cannot believe the manager of this establishment would allow such behavior! This is a small town and NO business can afford to lose customers, unfortunately this location has lost my business for sure. I have also put a complaint in with corporate. The ONLY Good things about this place on New Years Eve was 1. It was open; I wanted Tong Fong Low, but they were closed oddly enough. 2. Service. The young lady was very nice and helpful. The Food was bad. The Chicken Egg Rolls had some funky taste and we threw them out. The Fried Rice and Chow Mein flavorless. Presentation means alot and nothing looked like the pictures. My walnut honey shrimp had lost most of their breading so I had random breading pieces thurout the entree. Worst Panda Express franchise yet. The only good thing is the speed of their drive thru. I have been there three times. Twice of those trips, the Orange Chicken was old, brown, and just kept warm. One trip I got broccoli beef, and the beef was hard. They don't change the food out, they just let it sit. Their customer relations aren't the best either. I had to ask once for a fortune cookie, and they acted like I was holding them up. I didn't get a fork with one order, and when I start ordering I feel like they're just trying to push food out. I consume Panda Express quite often, I'd say 2-3 times per week (various locations), and I very much enjoy it.. Normally. This time, not so much. I went through the drive through and ordered our food, they asked me to pull around front and said they'd bring it out to me. I was told it would be 5 minutes but ended up waiting OVER 25 minutes. THEN, I had to go BACK THROUGH the drive through to get our (partially cold) food that they told me they'd bring out 20 minutes prior. The excuse was that they didn't see the TRUCK I was driving which is fine, some people don't really pay attention and I get that, but then all they did to make up for it was give me 1 "free single serving" card. ONE free single serving for wasting 20 minutes of my time and serving me cold food because the worker who was supposed to remember my truck, didn't pay enough attention. Will not be back to this location. Terrible customer service. read more
