Update ~ I have to share, I'm extremely saddened the fact that Olive Garden not only has changed the way they do their All you can eat Salad, but they way they have changed their Entree size and their All you can eat Salad / Entree is truly disappointing. Unfortunately you have to constantly ask for more instead of being able to actually sit and enjoy an entire meal at once and then if one, wants more food than ask. But when you have a group (4-5) of people eating out of one salad that barely feeds 3 people your whole entire party is waiting for the server to come back so you can ask for more. I personally don't like bothering the servers constantly because I realize they at times have several tables to tend to, although it makes it difficult when you can't even have a meal and sit down and enjoy it. Sorry Olive Garden, we've Always loved your food and service but we come for a reason and that's to sit and have a conversation with each other, have a great time and have a good meal together. Not constantly be asking for food and being interrupted. read more

Service was okay. No offer of refills on salad, drinks or bread sticks which is unusual for an Olive Garden. Server was nice and polite. The quality of their food has really gone down. It wasn't all that good, it was just okay. They are putting way too much oregano in their sauces and you can smell it - yuck. Real Italian cooks DO NOT use oregano. If it was Italian oregano, it might not be so bad, but this was bad. It's a nice clean, friendly restaurant. The staff is really great and make it worthwhile. read more

We came for dinner for two around 4pm on a Sunday. We were seated immediately then ignored for nearly 40 minutes. Finally we decided we were just going to leave when the husband noticed the "alert waiter" button on the tablet that sits on the table. Waiter showed up within 30 seconds to take our drink order. We got our food within 30 mins and got out of the restaurant within an hour and 30 mins. The service was almost non-existent. We won't be back. read more

Olive Garden is a chain and many are the same. This one has great service and parking. We came for lunch and had no wait at all. They have games on a pad on the table so I was ignored by my grandson for most of the meal, but that is okay. He loves Olive Garden. Parking was so easy and the hostess was super nice. The service here is excellent. We knew what we wanted so we ordered right away and our food came pretty fast. We love their endless salad bowl. I am not a fan of the breadsticks, but my grandson loves them. When we were done we got our check quickly and were thanked. Such a great server. All of the food is great. This is not fine dinning so don't expect that. Their prices are fair and they reflect the type of eatery it is. It is great for lunch or dinner. We had Spaghetti & Meatballs, my grandson's favorite and it was a lot of food and he had some to take home. I had a breaded chicken with wonderful pasta in a creamy white sauce. It was great. They have a kids menu and have plenty for people who can't have gluten. Even a vegetarian can get a great meal here. Their strawberry cream cake is so good and not too rich. Although the service is great, the food has declined. Usually I am very satisfied with my meal from Olive Garden, however when it is busy chaos breaks loose! My fettuccine came out with little sauce and a big chunks of hard noodles stuck together. The quality of the food seems to decrease the busier it is. My chicken gnocchi soup came out watery and somewhat bland, almost as if they just made a batch of the soup and added water to it so they could fill more dishes at once to avoid the stress of multiple orders coming in at once. I wouldn't have left this review if it was the only time this has happened, unfortunately it has been happening more and more over the course of these last 6 months. I hope things get better, but every time I have come here and received my food this way, I always end up wishing I just had went to the Applebee's across the street. read more

If you know me, you know I absolutely detest Olive Garden, but after today I'm a FAN. The food was absolutely amazing across the board, but the staff is what elevated my overall experience. From the start the host Josh was super kind and friendly! He definitely set the tone for the wonderful experience I had tonight. Our amazing waitress Jasmine went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and accommodated appropriately. She even went as far as fixing the wobbly table my friends and I were seated at! It wasn't hindering us in anyway but the fact that she went out her way to guarantee we had an even more enjoyable experience was admirable. I hope the next time I come in I get to interact and properly thank all the amazing people I had the pleasure of seeing tonight. This is a favorite restaurant to take my grandkids where everyone gets to order something they love. My husband is dealing with health issues and the soup he loves best is the minestrone and salad to go. It's been a lifesaver. My favorite is the fettuccine with chicken. I used to love the Olive Garden. However, my memories from over a decade ago seem to be much rosier than reality. Yes they still have unlimited soup, salad, and breadsticks, but I think I've outgrown the attraction of all-you-can-eat. Quality matters to me now too. The appetizer was really hot but was really good the two dips it came with were warm. The soups we had were delicious. The main course were awesome. I arrived here 30min before closing and I have to say I was expecting to be treated like a second class citizen. I assumed everyone would be ready to leave for the day and miffed that I came in so late. This was not the case. My waiter treated me with the best service and attention - no hint of being beaten down by my late arrival. The kitchen made me a high quality meal that tasted great. I am not a huge fan of Olive Garden. Growing up in the 90s Olive Garden was really good. They had amazing breadsticks that were worth the trip alone. I am not sure when it happened, but their quality dropped at some point. The once amazing breadsticks became mediocre at best. I suspect they started using frozen ingredients. Anyways, that is what Olive Garden became, so I set my expectations as such. This was my first visit to any Olive Garden since the 90s. I had a great experience. The service was fabulous. The atmosphere was quite nice. My salmon, salad, and unsweetened iced tea were all very good. The establishment was very clean and the staff seemed to be well-trained. The negative reviews I see here are very baffling. I can't complain, and I would be the first to complain if anything was awry. read more

Stopped in to meet a Co-worker that was having lunch at the bar. I was greeted by the bartender Ellie, she was polite and very nice when I approached the bar. I went with a crisp tall blue moon and a few appetizers. The beer was cold, the pour was astounding and the flavor was full. The appetizers came out in the perfect amount of time and my lunch was very enjoyable. This is my first time at this establishment but I will definitely be back for dinner sometime soon. Traveling on the road and needed to stop eat and use a restroom in Chico. The girls have gluten allergies so we are limited in our choices. In and Out had a line a half mile long. So we chose Olive Garden because they have gluten free pasta. So about 15 minutes after we ordered we were informed that they did not have any gluten free pasta available today. They were using a limited menu so there weren't a lot of options. So they got Travis, the manager to talk to us. After talking with Travis he came up with an idea for a special dish for the girls, grilled chicken with roasted cheese and balsamic on top. Ooh la la. Exciting. He added broccoli on the side. I'm so dissatisfied with the service at this restaurant, I ask the waitress for breadsticks and her response was they will come out with the food, by the way it took almost an hour to get a kid's spaghetti & a regular fettuccine with broccoli she brought out the soup as well as the food at the same time with the breadsticks that where so hard my grandson could not eat them, she never came back to the table but to say we can pay on the little screen on the table, never offered a refill, and all the food was cold even the soup! I rarely eat at Olive Garden mostly because I cannot eat that many carbs. Soup and salad for lunch is a healthy exception (or for dinner). My wife really likes the soup, salad and breadsticks for lunch. Every time the salad is fresh and succulent and the soup is flavorful. Not only is it inexpensive and relatively healthy but it is "all you can eat". Because of our age we just can't eat that much but there was a time we could. Its still a bargain and its still healthy. Now, because they have few healthy options we rarely patronize them. We have had a few bad experiences with this franchise which lessens our likelihood of going there. That being said, the Chico location is the best managed of this franchise I have experienced. Clean, courteous, efficient, friendly and conscientious. Best in class for sure. I used to loveeee Olive Garden. The service there is absolutely horrible. I will go and sometimes get good service, and other times the employees are extremely rude and look like all they are doing is judging you and like they hate their job. Food is always good but I have gotten food poisoning there quite a few times, and when I called to complain, they promised me a refund or a way to make it right, and then made it super difficult to complete the process. I had to argue with a staff member to sit in the main dining room when I asked to see the manager she didn't even care... this location is racist asf... this is the only location that seats minorities at the bar but seats the whites in the sunny main dining area...so I just don't goto the Chico location anymore... Went for dinner and the food was bad. I had the tour of Italy and it was so dry that I think they shipped it over while we waited. My daughter had ravioli with mushroom sauce...the sauce literally had 2 slices of mushroom lying on top. Husband had spaghetti and meatballs and wouldn't eat it. The service was iffy at best. Came this afternoon for a later lunch. Had a "15" minute wait which turned more like 5 minutes. We were greeted by MAX and he got double sat so he didn't fully greet us it was more like what can I get you to drink and quickly ran off before I can get a appetizer order in. I'm a server I get it. It's difficult when we get over sat so I didn't judge. Drinks came out very fast and our whole order was very very accurate. We started wiry I can't remember the name now some Alfredo bites for a appetizer. They were very bland in flavor but great in size. Then of course breadsticks and salad and soup. AMAZING! Dinner came out and all was perfectly cooked and nothing was wrong.
